(Holiday Games, Contests, and Celebrations!) Christmas, Christmas time is here! Time for blood and time for tears!
That's right, it's the Holiday Season here in the Persona 4:FES Guild, and that means it's the season for giving, for being together with the people close to you, and the season for competing against one another in banal competitions in order to win semi-spectacular prizes! So pull up a yule log, pop a candy cane in your mouth, and gather 'round the yule-tide fire! Because this year a very special guest has put together a Christmas-season Celebration that will knock your socks off!
Below you will see the rules and outlines for several contests, lists and goodies, each of which was conceived and/or compiled by everybody's favorite Fallen Angel, so sit back, relax, and get ready for a Holly, Jolly Christmas...of BLOOD!

(Louis Cypher's Christmas Video Challenge)"There are so many themes which Christmas takes on throughout the world. In countries with a Christian base it is a highly religious holiday, ripe with ceremony and worship, and plenty of holiday gift-giving and superstition. In other countries it is considered more of a romantic holiday when lovers come together, gifts are given amongst intimate friends, and much, much more.
No matter where you go, however, you will no doubt be able to avoid seeing copious amounts of romance, friendship, philanthropy, and other such acts performed in the name of the 'Christmas Spirit'. I am intrigued by this concept, the concept of the 'Christmas Spirit'. I have never seen such a thing, nor believed that it exists. Perhaps...you could demonstrate to me the existence of this creature?
To do this, I would request that you create your own video...preferably something you can post on YouTube...which reflects the romantic love, epic reflection, or tight friendships you find in this Guild. Do this in the name of the Christmas Spirit and then post it here in this Forum and then, if you can convince me of the existence of this spirit, I might be willing to reward you greatly for your efforts..." (Louis Cypher's Late Tanbata Requests and New Year's Resolutions)"Christmas and the New Year are always fun times to be alive; celebrations, good-will, endless human indulgences...I cannot deny that I enjoy watching you each and every time this season comes around. I am, after all, a great fan of mankind...particularly when they partake in self-gratification to an almost hedonistic level. It is a narcissistic season, a humanistic season, and undeniably, a season of selfishness and generosity.
However this year I've decided to do something a little bit differently...this time, I'll be participating in the festivities. So allow yourselves to be tempted by my generosity, accept the potential gifts which I am so ready to give you, and perhaps...if you are lucky...a certain 'Santa' shall be paying you a visit this holiday season to make your dreams come true.

(Louis Cypher's Romantic Christmas Daydream - A Writing Competition)"Love is in the air...so strong that I feel a shiver down my spine. Or maybe that's just the bite of the freezing cold.
Whatever the case, one cannot deny that Christmas is a season for lovers...a time when couples exchange gifts, kisses, and much much more. Beneath the picturesque backdrop of an evening snow, two young people in love embrace as the world around them becomes bathed in white. All the world around them seems to fade...and nothing else matters but he and she...or she and she...or even he and he, whatever the case may be.
I am, and have always been, a humanist...a fan of man and all their engagements. I love to watch as men and women cast aside their differences, scorn the world around them, and become locked together in their own innocent sin. And as I am such a fan, I wish to capture the essence of this feeling...the very nature of these moments...and preserve them for posterity.
Write for me a story...tell me a tale of Christmas romance, write me a snow-capped love scene...whatever you do, encapsulate a moment of sheer bliss between lovers (in this Guild) and submit it to this spot and I shall reward the best of the lot, the one who can truly capture my interest, with something lovely for their troubles.

(Louis Cypher's Christmas-Time Romantic Catalog)"Love is in the air...and as always, I am a very amused observer.
Below is a list of several of my favorite romantic pairs...and some which I would personally be interested in seeing throughout the New Year." Quote: Louis Cypher's Romantic CatalogRen Haruko x Akihiko Sanada - One of the first couples to include a PC to arise in the Guild, watching these two bond over training and their shared interests was a delight for many. More than a year later they are still together, working under the banner of SEES and SEES-2 in order to solve the mysteries of the town and defeat Strega. Soji Seta x Rise Kujikawa x Yukiko Amagi (x many other one-sided (?) interests) - The original (and canon) couple, Soji and Rise have been through a bevy of trials and tribulations throughout the course of the Guild. Often torn apart by the demons (literally and figuratively) that plague Soji, the distance forced in between the two has allowed others to rekindle their romantic interests in the leader of the Investigation Team...including but not limited to Mizore, Kisa, Yukiko, Yumi, and others. Watching how this love dodecahedron sorts itself out and which girl ultimately manages to capture the heart of the protagonist continues to be one of the guild's most interesting (and frustrating) side-plots. Rednal Ak'Thias x Keira Gayuno (x others) - Rednal Ak'thias remains in as precarious a position (romantically) as anyone in the Guild. Linked to many girls but tied down (if she had her way, literally) by one very possessive one, things are poised to explode in the near future between he and 'Yuno'. Will her knife start a little stabby-stabbing soon to make sure this relationship remains exclusive? Only time will tell... Faustus Necromonium x Kusuri Keiraku x Eoria Ansul - With Kusuri's awakening this self-proclaimed OT3 has mostly settled in comfortably with each other. Having faced several dangers together and emerged closer for their troubles, there's very little which can threaten the bond forged between Faust, Eoria, and Kusuri...well, metaphorically speaking at least. Minato Arisato x Mitsuru Kirijo (x Yukari Takeba and Aigis one-sided) - No longer a relationship worthy of an excellent Patrick Swayze movie (R.I.P.), Minato's return from the land of the departed has given new life to the canon Persona 3 couple in the Guild. Also finding a second chance for love in his rebirth are the others whose hearts were captured by the blue-haired wunderkind when he was alive. But as of this moment it seems that Minato is content to focus as much of the time he has recovered in the company of the woman he has professed to love. And damned if he doesn't deserve it... Shikari Hibiki x Mikuzaki Gin - One of the Guild's more adorable pairings, Shikari's casual and level-headed nature perfectly offsets the absent-minded, cowardly nature of his girlfriend-to-be. Whenever she's in trouble, Shikari always seems to come to Miku's rescue like a knight in shining armor. And watching the two of them fall apart in the battle of the Snow Queen's Tower was as sad as anything in the midst of that storyline. Kanji Tatsumi x Naoto Shirogane - One of the charming couples hinted at as a possibility in Persona 4, these two have had several nice moments throughout the course of the Guild's existence. Needs more love, for sure...where are you two?! Junpei Iori x Fuuka Yamagishi x Chidori Yoshino - One of the most interesting love triangles in the Guild early in its existence, it has run into a bit of a cold patch with the lack of play for each of the three involved. Nonetheless, with Chidori's turning and disappearance, Fuuka has gained headway with the Kirijo's familiar construction foreman. Will Junpei save Chidori again and free her from her bonds? Or will he and Fuuka have to work together to do the unthinkable... Eriko Kirishima x Naoya Todo - A pair of names unfamiliar to Inaba, but perhaps familiar to you, these two have suffered through experiences many can only ever dream of. But with Naoya's disappearance, Elly's followed a lead to Inaba in hopes of rescuing and reuniting with her lost love...but if Naoya is in the town, where is he? And is it even possible to save him? Amelia Heartilly x Masamune Date - After some interesting dialog and interaction upon their eventful first meeting, Date Masamune proclaimed the lovely Ms. Heartilly to be 'His Woman'. ...Do you feel like arguing with a dragon wearing six swords at his hip? Elke Shula x Kira x ??? - Always a man of intrigue with his lustful, mysterious ways, Elke continues to claim Kira as one of his most treasured playthings and ongoing works of art. But his eye is always roaming...always searching for more...for his masterpiece. Ellen Gallietsu x Satoru Otonashi - With a bond forged through through the fires of battle and the frozen tower of the Snow Queen, these two have proven to have excellent chemistry both in and out of battle. They may be blocks of ice right now, but here's hoping that when they are unfrozen the sparks ignite and from there, it's all fire, baby... Haseo Yamagada x Sylphie - Two battle-hungry members of SEES-2 with a vendetta against everything and anything shadow-related, their similarities are what make them compatible. Dynamic duo of shadow-kicking ahoy! Teddie x Misha Mori - Still as cute as the day it was first suggested, their excitable personalities and perversion make them an adorable...and dangerous couple. Kazuma Koroko x Luusa Baddock - Kazuma likes to destroy whatever crosses his path, and Luusa totally digs that. Match made in heaven? Or match made in Hell? We'll only know the first time the blond reacts to one of Luusa's patented squeals... Cesc Fabregas x Ray, Liz, and Alex - As the head of the Orochi, Cesc tends to let the people under his direction do whatever they please. Unfortunately for his regularly scheduled naptime, it seems that sometimes ' whatever they please' just so happens to be him. Sayuri Zetsumei x Balmung of the Azure Sky x Ryofu - A love triangle so backwards it's hard to imagine that any progress will ever come about between them. Sayuri's too shy, Ryofu's too obvious, and Balmung's just plain oblivious. It would probably take something major just for the winged one to get his nose out of the case long enough to notice them. Then again, in this town that might not be as unlikely as you'd think... Duke Devlin x Minori Koroko - One of the guild's most beloved (and sexiest) couples, Minori is the beauty who has captivated one of Japan's most eligible (if not the most eligible) and desirable bachelors. Of course, being that her new boyfriend is the sexiest thing since sex, the most interesting part of this relationship going forward will be seeing just how she manages to get any quality time with him without dealing with those bloody fangirls... Zeo Zaggart x All Women (one-sided) - Let's face it, we're talking about the guy who nearly lost an arm trying to grope the Snow Queen. If ever there was a hopeless case, it would be Zeo Zaggart... Mikael Hendrassen x Riika Arakawa - One of the older couples in the Guild, though Riika is gone from the SEES-2 Squad there is no reason to believe that their relationship can't endure behind the scenes. Whether or not Mikael can accept her shucking that responsibility may decide whether or not the two remain together henceforth... Hikaru Okamoto x Naomi Fujiyoshi - Two solitary, tortured souls who have suffered and lost at the hands of Hetero...now relegated to a background role with their potential stolen straight out of their bodies. Together in commiseration, together in love...their common ground stands as evidence of the potential for a relationship between them. Rainbow x Camael - Two highly effeminate men with opposite personalities, whether by connection or blackmail, these two could finally break through the barrier and become the first male-male pair in the guild thus far. And what an interesting pair they would be... Bour Ying's One-Sided 'Infatuations' - The less said about this man the better... Kaminari Miyaki x Daigo Umehara - Two people on the fringe of the Strega movement, their generally punk dispositions and careless attitudes make them an interesting evil pair and a potential team. Could be interesting to see what the two of them can pull off together...should they be willing to work. Mio Miyamoto x Rose x Leonardo Mori - Though Rose and Leon was a pair that I had previously pushed, the added dynamic of Mio makes this one right down the alley of Rose's unusual romantic proclivities...and maybe Leon's, too. --- As likely to kill you as kiss you: Yoshizo Yoshimura, Yukimura Sanada, Sasuke Sarutobi, Teros Inisu, Uesugi Kenshin, Mataki Hito, Deadpool, Lewis Keys --- Unpaired: Jo(Shu) Michieru, Hide Yumiko, Kohaku Kuma, Yuuki Haruko, Koizeki Tanibasaki, Vicky, Vixen, Ban Baddock, Chokichi Miyaki, Aiza Morooka, Woli, the Kyuubans, Yoshino Harusawa, Daemon, Jecht, Shizuko Nakagawa, Allen Gallietsu, Kaoru Akasaka, Dan, --- Others under consideration - Ky Kisiragi, Shizuko Nakagawa, Sanae Kochiya, Miyuki Arisawa, Kabuto, others...

Looking at it like this, it was hard to believe that it had gone through such a trying year... the town got this much snow only rarely, as if nature, apologizing, was trying to cover things up. That half-built new hospital, a few apartment buildings... people were still rebuilding. On the rooftop of a school, one girl quietly rested a hand against the side of the building and shivered slightly, even through the warm sweater. Well, at least she'd had the chance to pick up some nice clothes lately, with the lockdown finally ending and all. Who could've believed something like what had happened then would occur? The girl did look over eventually, however, to the young man who'd come and joined her. He still made time for her, even after... "Sorry... for calling you out all this way." Ai said quietly, looking at the figure of the young man. It was hard to believe how much he'd grown. Like he was taller, stronger than before... had his shoulders always been that broad? Despite her apology, however, her companion just gave her a gentle smile, then raised his hand up and gently wrapped a scarf around her neck. It was homemade, Ai noticed, nothing like the dozens of scarves she had in her massive walk-in closet at home (just this year's fashions, too), but... it was warm. "It's all right." the young man said. He'd never been particularly talkative even at the best of times, Ai remembered, but after that incident, the one everyone in town had seen, that had ended Inaba's nightmare... he'd been a little more prone to silently staring off into the distance. It might be that nobody who hadn't been there would ever know quite what had happened, but he had come away minus a hand, yet somehow more complete than before. "Everybody's busy right now... Naoto's helping investigate a few towns over, Rise has some photo shoots, Yosuke needs to help out with the sales at Junes... we're planning on getting together tomorrow, though. Everybody who helped us. Would you like to come?"Ai looked over a bit, then gently moved over until she was resting against the young man, smiling a little as he wrapped his arm around her and gently held her close. "...I'd like that." she said. Hard words to believe coming from a girl who'd had so much trouble before, but spending time with the young man had changed her. It had changed everybody. "Before then, though... I wanted to give you your present. I spent awhile thinking about it... Went to a lot of stores... and I finally remembered what it was I wanted to give you more than anything else." The young man seemed a bit surprised, and Ai smiled as she turned around, pushed up onto her toes, and kissed him. "Merry Christmas, Soji." she said. Snow continued to drift down onto the small town of Inaba throughout the day, the blanket of white bringing peace and comfort to a town that had received its salvation. For two small inhabitants of a very small town, however, their whole world was no larger than the two of them...

Well, all right, perhaps it wasn't really that far away, just towards the hidden shrine area of Inaba, but for a people who preferred staying inside and out of trouble, it really was quite a distance. Regardless! A young man with a wide, innocent smile sat there on the highest branch of a tree, looking out at the sunset before he turned to his companion. "It really is a nice sight, isn't it?" he asked his banana. The fruit made no reply, and Woli just laughed as he picked up the yellow Musa Acuminata and jumped down from the tree, landing easily on the ground beneath him. Sitting there, still well-chilled, was a large tub of cold-something and a girl he considered to be his friend. She seemed... perhaps a bit amused, even as Woli held out his banana for her to take. "Well, now." the girl said, taking out a knife and starting to peel the fruit. "I really couldn't believe it when you said you'd never had a Banana Split before, Woli..." the monkey-boy looked puzzled, but he was interested in what the girl was doing to his banana, as she took several strange, can-like things from a big box she'd brought along with her. Scoops of the cold stuff went onto a dish a moment later, then some weird drippy things, and some white stuff that looked a bit like milk that wasn't liquid. And a cherry; he recognized that. "Oooooooooooooooooooooh..." Woli said, fascinated. It might be better if there was more banana, though. He took out another one and gave it to the girl. She sighed a little, but dutifully added that banana, and several more, until the ice cream wasn't so much cupped by them as it was walled in. Carefully, Woli took the plate, ignored the spoon, and took a big bite out of the concoction. A moment later, the dish was on the ground and his arms were around Amelia. "It's delicious! This is the best present I've ever gotten!""Woli! Hug... tight... Ribs... cracking... Vision... fading..." She took a deep breath of air as Woli released her, feeling closer to having died than at any point in the last few months. Goodness, but he didn't know his own strength. Still, it was nice to see him enjoying himself so much... It was Christmas, and he didn't seem like the sort who would really appreciate designer clothing or the like... so giving him a variant on bananas was about the best she could come up with.

I am old Kris Kringle, I'm the King of Jingling...Rednal Ak'Thias looked up a bit as music echoed along the street of Inaba's local shopping district. A lifted lockdown had revitalized things, and not a moment too soon, but... he didn't really want to think about all of that at the moment. Instead, he simply strolled down the streets, looking at the elaborately festive displays that had been set up. Beside him, a young woman walked, more than a bit interested in all of the lights and displays. "It's your first Christmas here in Inaba, isn't it?" Rednal asked. The girl nodded. No surprise there. "Nn!" she added, pointing to a display of snowmen. Aselia almost dragged Rednal over to go look at it, a wide smile on her face as she did. Some people had a worry about pressing their faces against glass in order to look at something. Aselia was not one of them, and she was actually bouncing a little as she looked at all the lights and small, moving objects. For just a bit, Rednal was reminded of what he'd learned for her past. Grew up in Hokkaido, very snowy but mostly alone, then in the Kuzunoha Village... so she'd never really gotten to see these kinds of ordinary celebrations. Much of the last year they'd been busy fighting for their lives, too, and yet... Throughout all of that, he'd realized that there were things that were important to him, and that he didn't have to just stand back and watch as events unfolded. The gift of life was truly a precious one, meant to be experienced to the fullest for as long as possible. That feeling of hope... what he'd learned, and what had been restored to him. "By the way. I know it's still a little early, but I have something I'd like to give you." Rednal said lightly. Aselia turned away from the storefront, looking curious, and Rednal fought back a sudden surge of panic. No, no, no! This wasn't the time to be feeling like that! He took a deep breath to steady himself. Then a small pill from a container in his pocket; he couldn't let himself get too excited, after all, since his heart simply couldn't handle that. He withdrew a small box from his coat a moment later and gave it to Aselia. "I spent a long time thinking about it, and I wanted to ask you..." The girl opened the box and looked at the small object inside. "What we've gone through this year is something that's truly made me happy. And, uh.... if you feel the same way, Aselia... would you like to stay together with me? Forever?"A few tears trickled down Aselia's cheeks, and the girl pulled out a simple golden ring. She tackled Rednal a moment later, nodding. "Yes... yes!" the girl whispered. A rare time of not just making her usual noise. Snowflakes began falling a moment later, and Aselia looked up, then grabbed Rednal's hand and started running. It didn't take long to reach their destination, and open field behind the shopping district that was slowly starting to get covered in white. Brilliant wings burst out of Aselia's back a moment later as the girl spun around. "I... really like snow. I grew up with it, and it's where Lady Raidou found me, and now..." she rubbed her eyes furiously, then looked up as Rednal gently dabbed her face with a handkerchief. "I've learned so much by being with everyone else, but I've never really been able to say this properly until now. I never really was too good at explaining my feelings. Just... thank you." The girl wrapped her wings around Rednal as she hugged him once more, then pushed onto her toes and kissed him. A gentle kiss, rather than a vigorous one, to show her gratitude... and the love that had slowly but surely grown inside of her. Theirs was a relationship of few words; Aselia didn't speak often, and Rednal was usually content simply to be in the presence of the people he cared about. The young man did eventually pull back a bit from the girl, a smile still on his face. "You've been my guardian angel these past few months, Aselia. But I'm glad... that we can walk together now." The girl's wings folded away as Aselia shut off her power, and she giggled a little bit. "And now... you're just plain mine." she said as she embraced him. "Nn!"
