I was in lab, working on the final render of a scene, a higher-up comes in and loudly compliments me on my work, and lo and behold, students in that lab who had never spoken to me before suddenly find the time to crowd around and offer their own admiration. Oh, really. I've only been in that lab for 2 months, where anyone could look at my work, at any time, and now all of a sudden it's worth looking at just because one of the Veeps said "wow, cool"!?

It's all a giant, stupid game...*frustrated noise*
