Name: Eclipse Keaira Amantra
Age: appears 16/really is 26
Race(s): Vampire
Brief History:They tell you that no one loves you more than family, that blood is thicker than water. They tell you that your family is the only ones at the beginning and at the end of your journey, and as much as one can hate to admit it they’re right. The Amatara girls were born one year apart with Eclipse being the eldest of the two. Looking through the family photo albums one would find pages of pictures filled with the girls and their adventures. It seemed that the moment the moon child was given a sister life took on a whole new hue. From sandbox expeditions to playground exploration the young years of the two children was filled with side by side adventure. Eclipse and Eris were absolutely inseparable though their childhood life. Their days were divided only during their school year in which they had sat in separate rooms in separate desks only to come home on the bus together and toss aside the homework to explore their world inch by inch for a new day.
Everyone knows that all little girls grow up to be intriguing women, and as the girls aged their world took on a whole new color. Their bodies changed with womanhood, and it was during these years of adolescent change that fate picked two very different paths for two lovely little girls. The older of the two children felt the call of the night upon her skin from an early age. Her attachment from her sister would be an anchor to her human life but all anchors rust and break away with time and it would be in her early adolescence that her chains would wear and her soul would start to yearn for a life beyond the bedroom they shared and the pictures of their younger days plastered upon the walls. Things like lust and thrill of the kill enchanted her while the younger of the two was sentenced to a different fate. The glimmer iridescence in her eyes was the mark, Eris had been chosen to serve the holy upon her death and it was something that she’d never realize until her sisters departure. Once Eclipse had gone searching the night to find where her soul would lay her sister went searching.
***********************
Like most children when they enter that next stage in life, Eclipse felt her soul seeking something. Only this something called to her from the night and her fantasy wasn't like all the other children her age. Where most wanted to be astronauts or fighter pilots, Eclipse wanted something much more dark and sinister. She could feel it inside of her, just aching to be set free. She wanted to become one with the night and there was only one way for that to happen... She left. At the age of fifteen she left her little world behind to take the path that her life was heading towards. She couldn't hold off any longer, for fear of her mind breaking from the pressure.
She took what she needed to survive, like clothes, her toothbrush, some food, and some money to help her get by for some time. She left her cell phone behind for she knew if she had it with her they would find her and then she would miss her chance. She hated leaving without saying goodbye, but she knew it wasn't forever. She would come back one day after she found what she was looking for.
Along her journey, she ran into a few problems. One of which was money. She was a fifteen year old run away; how the hell was she going to make money? Well she managed to find a place while visiting Germany. A small restaurant was looking for someone to wash the dishes and bus the tables. Perfect. She worked for them for six months, and would have stayed had they not been attacked one night by fiendish wolves. Now, she had grown up fascinated by vampires and werewolves, but she had never truly seen one before now.
These monstrous beasts tore apart the village, leaving nothing behind but ash and blood. She wasn't sure quite how she survived, all she could remember was staring up into the rage filled eyes, so beautiful, but they were the eyes of a killer and she could see her death in those eyes. But just before she passed out a man dressed in black with long shaggy hair stepped into the beasts way. Then her world went dark.
She awoke the next morning in the ruins of the old stone church that once proudly stood in this little town. It was nothing but rubble now and littered with dried blood. The man in black stood off to the side as if waiting for her to notice him, and she did. She had so many things to ask him, but she didn't know where to begin. He wasn't human, she was smart enough to see that. And the fact that she was still alive right now meant he had defeated that beast and saved her life. She owed him her life now.
The man simply stated what he was and asked why she had been there in the first place. He had been hunting that beast for quite some time, and he was still out there. Eclipse wasn't sure what to make of it really, but she stayed with that man.
Another year had passed along the way, but this time she would never age. She would never grow a year older and she would never die unless she was burned with fire and staked through the heart. She was a vampire now. A being of the night. This was her path. This was why she had left home. She was fated to become one of these creatures that feeds on the blood of humans and lives by the cover of the moon. It all made sense to her now.
She stayed with Kull-- the man in black-- for her heart was now his and his alone. But there was something else. She had to return home. But the return journey wasn't as easy as she hoped it would be. She had to fight her way home. She had left Kull, but he beat her back home. It was like he knew right where she was going, and that she could believe.
It took her six years to return home... she wondered if her sister had even missed her...
*****************************
After being gone for six years so much had changed in her home town of London, so much has happened. So many seasons have passed. It felt good for her to be home again. Or so she thought at first. It seemed like she had come just in time for a battle. The city was over run with an unusual amount of vampires and some other group... called Angels. She wasn't sure why these two groups were going at it, but she knew it had nothing to do with her. She only wanted to see Eris again and that's all that mattered.
Her first night back she ran into Kull at the local bar. A few of her other friends had also been present that night. There was a fight after all, it was a bar of course but it wasn't anything bad. The next day after hunting, Eclipse and Eris were reunited at last. It was as if everything were right again. But that was short lived after they were pulled into this battle the hard way.
Kull and Eris didn't get along very well and one thing led to another... Kull killed Eris for the first time. Really, everything wasn't so bad except that Eris awoke as one of these Angels with wings. Two sisters, one light and one dark. They thought it was cool at the time, but they soon learned that it wasn't going to be easy to keep their ties in this battle for the city.
The battle only got worse as time went on. Instead of them finding an end to the fight, only more and more problems presented themselves. Ones that would tear her world apart for good this time.
Kull killed Eris for the second time. And this time she wasn't coming back to life.
It would take the angel child many years and two deaths to see just how thick blood runs, and now the child of the moon has been left to carry on for both of them.
After that Eclipse left Kull. She left him and London behind. She just couldn't take it. To be surrounded by all of her childhood memories was just too painful. And to make matters worse it was her Sire, her lover that caused all this. Pain and anger pulsed through her veins now, something the young vampire had never felt. So much... torment inside one soul, it drove her mad.
**********************************************
For the first year after Eris' death, Eclipse went from town to town killing people. She didn't care who or what they were, she just killed and killed. She killed to drown out the pain. She killed to take out her anger. The anger that she hadn't killed Kull for what he did and anger that a part of her was still loving him. That part didn't last too long in her heart after that. She would always remember him as a murderer. To her knowledge he was still alive, somewhere in the world; she could feel it in her blood. But her fire inside had changed, and her perception of the world along with it.
After her rampage, her anger dissipated. She still wasn't happy, but she could at least move on with her life now. She needed a purpose in life. Something she could live for. Without one, she didn't know how to pass the time. Immortality had its perks, but it left her with an eternity to live. So she decided to do the very thing she had spent her time away from home doing-- traveling. She wanted to visit uncharted places, and towns. She wanted to see the things people forgot, but still held prisoner by time. Ruins and ancient castles were going to be her drive for a while.
Brief Personality: Eclipse doesn't like people and people generally don't like her either. The vampire girl is a rage filled ball of anger and hate, and no one wants to mess with someone like that. She's pretty much crazy without the stabbing right now part. She would stab people right now, and might so don't discard that just yet. Eclipse likes to stick to herself and she rarely is ever seen without her face shoved inside of a novel of some kind. Eclipse loves to read, and is one of the few pass times she gets to enjoy still. The dark haired girl also never smiles unless she's plotting something evil, so if she's smiling you better make a run for it while you still can. What the vampire also loves to do is fight. As far as being a vampire, Eclipse was made for the thrill and glory of battle, and loves it even more when she has an opponent that can stand up to her. Eclipse also misses her dead sister and will do whatever she can to bring her back to life. Whatever the price, Eclipse is willing to pay it.

Bullet For My Valentine- Temper Temper
Name: Alaric Oberon Ashwood
Age: 18
Race(s): Harpy
Brief History: Born the middle of three, Alaric remains the most interesting—and potentially dangerous—of the Ashwood children. There were many happy days as well as down days, but nothing different from a normal family. Barnard was the oldest; strong, tall, and brave, he was always the one the younger two looked up to, especially when their father had punished them for something they did wrong. Ivory was the youngest brother, with large white wings he looked more like an angel than a harpy, but he was not to be taken lightly. All three brothers were born five years a part. When one was ready to start training, another one popped out and then the process repeated until there were three of them. Viola had wanted a daughter, but she knew had she had one, the girl would only be forced to train like the boys. Hell, even Viola was trained in combat, but she was stronger with magic than brute strength and power.
As the middle son, Alaric was often forgotten since he wasn’t the oldest, and then the youngest was the baby. Perhaps this was where the harpy got such a twisted personality from? The only time the coal winged harpy felt like he was a part of the family was when they were training. Ellis believed that his children would be trained in the ways of self defense and preservation from the moment they could walk. If they could walk, they could learn to fight. Of course each of them branched off once they were older, learning different weapons from each other—ones that suited them more.
At the age of fifteen Alaric started to learn magic. Viola had been particularly gifted with magic so there was always the possibility that the three boys would share in her gift. Out of all of them, Alaric showed the most promise, but they were also afraid of what he might do with this knowledge once he was older.
Alaric was always a wild child; doing things head first and never taking the time to actually think things through. He was always getting into trouble in school and getting into fights with kids several years older than him. Once he was a teenager, however, he started to get smarter about things. He started to use his eyes and head more to pick out weak spots on the older kids, and how to best sneak out of the school to skip class. He still got in trouble, but the principal and teachers were getting more and more amazed with how he was getting around them.
By the time the coal winged harpy turned seventeen, the Ashwood parents were running out of time. They knew their son was not ready to enter the real world and needed some place they could send him for some extra training with other kids his own age. This was when the parents discovered Valencia. It was a highly rated school, and on a island in the middle of the ocean. Sure Alaric had wings, but there were no other islands for miles around so it was less likely for him to just up and leave. Plus there was a harpy teacher for combat class, and that pretty much settled the deal.
Brief Personality:Often referred to having sociopathic tendencies, Alaric can be charming and seductive one moment, and then be angry and dangerous the next. No one knows quite why the coal winged harpy has turned out this way, but he has. Alaric shows no remorse for the problems that he causes and damage to others that he does. He just does not care--at least on the outside. Alaric has 'shut off' some of his more human feelings and shoved them away in a locked box. Sometimes these intensely deep feelings do wiggle their way to the surface, and thus when the harpy enjoys a nice bottle of something strong to get him through the night... or week. In reality, he is a lot more vulnerable than he leads on.
Alaric can also be considered impulsive, especially when left with free time on his hands. This is when the harpy likes to go around and flip tables or steal a kiss from someone's girlfriend. Why? because it's amusing, that's why. On the up side, Alaric is also witty and sarcastic when he's in a good mood-- or even in a bad mood, really.
Alaric is also self destructive and reckless. Being raised as one of the kings of the sky, Alaric does not back down from any sort of challenge, and often will instigate them. The coal winged harpy sees no value in his own life, and likes to gamble with it. The only way to get the harpy to give up is either to kill him, restrain him until he calms down, or to knock him unconscious. Luckily, he doesn't get like this as often as he used to. The other side to this is that the harpy is also selfless, and fiercely protective of the few people he may actually care about, even if they don't really think of him in the same way. But Alaric never wants his loved ones to know how he feels because he is afraid of being betrayed, so he does everything behind their backs.
When it comes to love, Alaric jumps in head first, allowing himself to recklessly love someone and feel for them so deeply before he even knows how they feel. This is what often causes him the most pain in life because you don't chose who you love--it just hits you in the chest when you least expect it.

Name: Kevin Leon Rothstein
Age: 17-25
Race(s): Human/Wereleopard/Persona (Star Arcana)/Pokemon Trainer
Brief History: Where most children get the chance to grow up in a steady, loving house hold; some don't. At first the Wilder household was just like every other; filled with love, acceptance, and understanding. But like most things, that didn't last. Kevin was born to a young couple just out of high school. They were young, and didn't quite know what they wanted to do for the rest of their lives. They loved each other enough that three years out of school, Melinda ended up pregnant with Kevin. They decided to keep the baby and make a living with each other. Harold's parents ran and owned a small restaurant and had been planning on giving it to Harold when he was old enough and when they were ready to retire. Well, a year or so after Kevin came along, Harold inherited the restaurant.
Time went by, things were going great and the two of them could never be happier. Several years later, a daughter came along whom they named Adriel.
And that's where things got out of control.
The restaurant was flourishing, but the love was dying. They spent their whole time taking care of things that their family was just falling apart at the seams. They tried to make it work, but the arguments and the fighting just never went away. They pretended things were all right for Kevin and Adriel, but things were bad enough that even the children were aware of what was really going on. Kevin and Adriel pretended nothing was wrong and they really tried to keep their parents together. They would leave little notes for each of their parents saying they were from the other-- and they would pick flowers from the neighbors garden too. Adriel and Kevin were always together; never one without the other. The two of them loved spending time together and playing outside with the other kids on their neighborhood block.
Finally, when Kevin turned ten and Adriel was seven the family split up. Adriel went with their mother and Kevin with their father. Adriel and Melinda moved to China, having been offered a job by her sister in a bakery there. Kevin and Harold stayed in New Ashlake City. For a time things were awkward for the two men, to try and pick up the pieces of their lives, but they managed. Harold pretty much ran the restaurant by himself now, with the help of a pretty, young assistant. She was great, and Kevin liked her, but she wasn't his mother. Harold and Sarah got married just after Kevin turned thirteen. The hardest thing for Kevin to get used to was not having Adriel around anymore. Without his younger sister, Kevin got into a lot of trouble while playing games with himself. It was hard to keep a young boy entertained without having to sacrifice a lamp or a vase from time to time. Harold encouraged Kevin to try out for sports and things to try and give hi son something to focus on.
It was somewhere around age fifteen that Kevin learned that he liked girls. Soon after Kevin devoted himself into turning his body into something to drive girls crazy. He started working out, picked up boxing, and started taking care of his skin and hair. He devoted his time and energy into making sure he looked good, that his studies were taking a bit of a tumble. Though, Kevin had never been one for math or science, his step-mother started cracking the whip a bit.
Brief Personality:Kevin is a man that takes really good care of his body. He works out, keeps in shape, and even won a few awards in boxing. Beneath the boxer lies a young man who... likes girls. Okay, let's be real here; Kevin likes girls a lot and he also likes showing off his well toned body to said girls. To be exact though, Kevin will hit on almost anything so long as they didn't look like they are thirteen and still wet behind the ears. No, Kevin likes his women older and able to put him in his place (i.e. Quinn Elisabeth Traver). Another thing about the blond male that most may not realize is that to him; blond jokes are true. Kevin may be a fighter inside the ring, but outside it he is a whole different person. Kevin has a really short attention span, especially when it comes to studying and to school. The blond really just doesn't see any point in learning about biology and algebraic equations-- no the only thing that really matters are his abs and how good they look. Kevin may seem like an idiot, but he really does care about his friends. The one thing that can make the blond mad is if anything happened to his friends. He would do anything for them-- even take a bullet for them-- because without them, life wouldn't be so fun.

Brief History: So... where should I start? Well, I'll take you way back, back before I came to Ventrillo and before I'd ever seen the outside world or met my best friend and his girlfriend.
I'm the ugly duckling in my underwater tribe. I'm what you'd call the black sheep. Everyone's usually blues and greens and sparkles, and I'm.... not. I'm black and creepy as they say. What it really means is that I'm one of a kind, but they don't see that. I've obtained the ability to walk on land, though that does mean staying out of the water for at least an hour. My scales have to dry out and then I'll have a full human body. When you first walk on land though, they never tell you that you should wear things called 'pants'. I live underwater. We have no need for those. Humans and their nudity I swear. I see boobs all the time where I'm from. It's just normal.
Even as a kid I liked visiting the surface to watch the sky change, and if I got close enough, I could watch the seasons change on the shore. I was so thrilled to get into Ventrillo and out of the ocean for a while. Unfortunately I need to visit a pool or a lake or something at least once every day or two. But let me tell you, my first year in this floating castle was like a dream. I met Jessie during my first week here, and man oh man, he's like my brother. Don't know how I'd ever managed to live without him. We were always getting into trouble, and spending time trying to figure out what else we could get ourselves into.
The following year was a new start. I'd dated a few girls, but it was never anything serious. Most of them were just curious to see if I had anything 'down stairs' but we never got that far and they gave up. Then Jessie met a girl. I can still remember that day, the day he introduced us. I swear to you, she was the prettiest girl I'd ever seen. It was almost love at first sight, but she only had eyes for Jessie. I felt kind of awkward around them after that, like I was the third wheel and being in love with her and all that. It takes a toll on a man after a while.
Well, I'd like to say everything had a happy ending, but that's not the case here. To make a long story short Jessie left. Don't know why, don't know where to, but he up and left. He left things a total mess around here for me and Chloe and we're left to pick up the pieces. A broken heart is a nightmare and two of them are even worse. See, after Jessie left I had the STUPID idea of confessing my love to Chloe who (with a broken heart too) couldn't return my feelings. It was a really dumb idea, but I could never move on unless I got it off my chest.
So, I'm going to take a walk on the wild side. Meet some new people and make some new friends.
Brief Personality: Demitri is a really good guy, he'd never do anything to hurt anyone, at least knowingly anyway. He's charming in his own way really, but some people wonder if that's really how he is on the inside. We'll get to that too.
Demitri takes bonds (friendships and relationships) very seriously. He won't forge them unless he trusts someone and that's not always easy to do. He takes betrayal very seriously and will hold a grudge. With so much pain in his past he can't help it. He's very good with keeping his real feelings locked up inside, so it might take some time for him to open up to new people and let them into his little world.
On the inside he holds in a sea of torment and rage. Demitri also has a bit of a temper when he's pushed to his limits, so it's usually wise not to make him too angry. When he's upset he doesn't think straight, but he will not physically hurt anyone he cares about, even if they are the one's that pushed him over that edge.

Name: Kyou Sanada/Ten'ou
Age: 18
Race(s): Sailor Uranus
Brief History: Kyou grew up the eldest child to a single mother; her father having died in a plane accident when she was five years old, just before her baby sister was to be born into the world. Her mother had been so devastated that she never remarried. Kyou's mother was the oldest daughter of a CEO for a big name company, so despite her being a widow, her children wanted for nothing. Kyou wasn't always happy with the lifestyle for the rich and the famous, instead she just wanted to feel the wind in her hair and to be free. Like the wind, she wanted to be herself. But life was not always so kind to those who are trapped by obligations and family. Kyou was pushed from her earliest days to be the best. No matter what it was, Kyou was pushed to get excellent grades, to be healthy and fit. One of the few things Kyou didn't mind about being pushed, was sports. She loved sports and she was very good at them. But she wouldn't be able to rely on them forever.
After Kyou turned thirteen, her mother pushed her into more.... civilized activities. Kyou was required to accompany her mother to grand parties and things like that to impress those around her. Kyou was not to fond of these events. It was shortly after all of this started that Kyou started dressing like a boy. She got a boys uniform for school and started wearing that and acting more like a guy. It was like she could escape from her life even for a short while. But once her mother found out, things started to slide downhill. There were soon sounds of shouting and frustration filling their luxurious apartment; heated arguments about Kyou's "unacceptable" behavior. Kyou managed to win the fight when she turned seventeen and convinced her mother to let her life alone in an apartment. Her mother still paid for it, so there were times when Kyou couldn't escape her, but it was still freedom. Kyou picked up riding motorcycles sometime in the midst of things and learned she wanted to ride them forever. The feel of the wind in her hair... it was unlike any other feeling.
Brief Personality: For being a rich girl, Kyou is not a snob and she's actually quite friendly most of the time. She enjoys playing sports and driving her motorcycle more than she enjoys fancy dinner parties and dances. Kyou likes to pretend she is a boy most of the time, like wearing the male uniform at school. It isn't that she wants to be a boy for real, but acting like a boy allows her some freedom that would ordinarily be denied to her. Another side to Kyou is that she can be very jealous over something she considers hers. She doesn't like anyone she deems as a threat to come anywhere into her territory or to touch what belongs to her. Other than that, Kyou is very calm and graceful.
Kyou isn't opposed to the idea of love and a relationship, but she hasn't found anyone who could be her equal yet. She wants someone to stand beside her and not in front of her.

Name: Akio Takeshi Yoru
Age: 185
Race(s): Kitsune
Brief History: Honestly, I barely remember my mother and father, but what I remember about them was from the day they died. My older brother, Kirk, had been caught by the humans for befriending one of their young and my parents had gone to save him. In order to protect me from being found too, I was left in the bushes nearby. I was far enough away that they never found me, but I was close enough to see and hear everything that went on. I watched helplessly as my mother and father sacrificed themselves to save Kirk. It wasn't the end for them, but their deaths left two young kits alone in a world that feared them.
Not everyone feared us, but most of them did. Day and night we struggled to survive and to find shelter from the rain. Those were hard times, but they got easier as we grew up. Kirk was the first one to take on a human form, so that made things a lot easier after a while. Once I was able to take a human form, Kirk and I started making a living together. We were often hired by elderly women to find herbs in the woods or mushrooms, and other things like that. We were foxes, and as such we had an excellent sense of smell.
But like all things, years pass and people grow up-- Kirk and I went our separate ways after we were old enough to live on our own. I was twenty when this happened. Kirk had gone off to live life and have fun, I traveled to learn about the world. Since then, I have never once seen him, but every once in a while I catch a sign that someone had seen a strange man with white hair and teal eyes-- so I know he's still alive.
And that blasted Tanuki that he owes money to found me last month. Damn brother and his not paying his bills on time. Along the way I met others of my kind, for I stayed in Japan for quite some time. They accepted me at first like nothing was wrong, but after hearing about my parents and learning that both my parents and my brother were of the white fur and I was black well... they treated me differently. It didn't mean anything was wrong with me, maybe I was just handing out with the wrong crowed but I try to steer clear of other Kitsune's now.
Brief Personality:quiet, serious, and short tempered. When it comes to studying and learning, nothing else matters. Because I am not so wrapped up in the matters of others of my kind, I spend most of it among the humans. The humans understand me better. I like my solitude and my space, and please don't ever run up behind me and hug me I make awful squeaking noises and it often makes me transform back into a fox. I am easily embarrassed when it comes to small things like teasing me about my ears and saying how cute they are. Other than that I don't really talk to people about my past and I am every calm and level headed when it comes to important on the stop decisions.
In other words I am very unlike my older brother. Really, I should have been born first in my opinion.
I also have something of a short fuse. When someone pesters me and really annoys me too much, I tend to snap. I don't really go over board, but I do throw tables and chairs around and huff and puff. I might even say whatever is on my mind, even if it's something I wanted to keep secret... like the fact that I like men. I am also something of a hopeless romantic-- but that's a secret!

Name: Caeli Orion Desderia
Age: 19
Race(s): Angel
Brief History: They say angels are born when a human dies without anger or regrets for the life they have lived. The life the human had lived was filled with hardships, but the human makes it through in the end without hating who they had been. In the end, my mother was no different. My mother, Sarah Lauren Desderia, never told me about her past as a human. Whenever I would ask her about it, she would just smile and tell me about the day she met my father. My father was born an angel rather than starting out his life as a human, but his parents had been human once upon a time. My mother was always kind and gentle, while my father was passionate and strong. Before her death, my mother had been a medical doctor, so in her new life as an angel, she made it her profession to be a healer. My father was a man who loved the stars and used to lay outside at night and just gaze up at them. How did my mother meet my father? Well, one day my father had gone out into the woods to the cliff so he could set up his telescope for some after work stargazing. While he was out there, he met with a wild bear. Bears normally don't attack people, but her cub was nearby and she felt threatened. My father was not a warrior angel, and so he sustained some injuries from the attack. He managed to fly away with his telescope, but he was in need of some medical assistance.
That's when he knocked on my mothers front door, begging her forgiveness for coming so late at night. To this, my mother replied that she had a feeling someone would need her, so she had been prepared. From their very first meeting, the two had been attracted to each other. After that, they each found ways to be able to meet again until passion consumed them. They feel in love so completely that they got married. Time passed, and the two wanted a child to raise. After trying and trying, finally my mother got pregnant with me, but as fate would have it I would be the only child she could have. I was born in the summer, during the constellation of Leo so my father picked out my name. Caeli is from Caelum "the engravers chisel" and of course my middle name is Orion "the hunter."
My favorite flower is the Wassail; my mother always smelled of them after being out in the garden. Why do I dislike red roses? I am not all that sure really, but they just don't agree with me is all.
Around the time I turned eight years old, my mother died. I don't remember how it happened, but I do remember how much my father grieved for her. He mourned her death, and it pained me to see him so sad. Every time I tried to comfort him, he cried harder and would turn his back to me. He told me I was too much like her, that it hurt to see me. After a while, it wasn't so painful for him to look at me, or at least to live under the same roof. My father from then on always came home late and left early the next morning. He made it a point to never be around when I was home. I should have been lonely, I should have turned out differently, but maybe I was too much my mothers daughter.
I spent most of my days outside with the other angel children in my town--because they were all angels in the town where I live-- so I was never alone. As I grew older, I started getting these weird feelings whenever something was about to happen. I later learned to focus on the feeling and I would often get a glimpse of whatever was going to happen. It was strange, and at first it frightened me, but I later learned it was a useful gift. It was a gift that I had been blessed with.
When I turned sixteen my father sent me away. He sent me to this academy called Valencia.
Brief Personality:kind, bright, and free. I am the kind of girl who hates to see others suffer or be hurt. After seeing my father so torn up about my mother, I try to make sure no one else has to go through something like that. I really try my best to make sure those around me are healthy and happy. I look down on those who bully others just because the other person is weaker than them. I like to remind the victim that they are far stronger than they may realize. Strength comes from within. All they need is someone to stand beside them and remind them that they are strong and that mean words cannot defeat them. I also like to try and curb those who solve their problems with violence. I believe that violence is never the answer, that everything can be resolved with words. I am always sure that if two people just talk it out and understand what's going on, that things could be resolved peacefully. This might make me a little closed minded to others, and maybe a little judgmental at times, but I try my best and that's what counts.

Name: Utuk Xul Gelal Hamilton
A.K.A. Luke
Age: 19
Race(s): Demi God
Brief History: My official name is Utuk Xul Gelal, at least that's what my mother named me before I was even born. Only after my mother left me in the care of my father when I was eight did I take on 'Hamilton' as my last name. By then I had already been twisted by my mother and her cult back in the middle east, so he was stuck with a temperamental little boy. But wait, I am getting ahead of myself here.
Let be back up a bit.
My mother is the goddess of love, lust, and sex; Ishtar. Pretty cool right? If you say so.
My father was a human man, a scholar of ancient artifacts and ruins. He had been digging at a site near the Tigris river. There had been rumors of something valuable to be found there, so he was really excited about it. My mother had heard about this and was most curious, so she paid their little work site a visit by pretending to be a consultant about ancient Babylon. After meeting the tall, handsome American man, Ishart instantly wanted to seduce him... but I won't bore you with those details (yes, my mother told me everything). After she had won her prize and bedded the man, she soon became pregnant. Oh dear, she hadn't planned on that. Ishtar had cheated on her current... lover, who was not happy to find out that she had done so. While she was pregnant with me my mother had known I was going to be special. She could feel it, she said and she wasn't sure I was going to be all good. So she named me an evil spirit, and a demon. It was like dooming me to a fate of darkness and shadow.
I grew up with my mother and her cult in the middle east, and that was not a pretty time. I was young and so vulnerable... eventually my mother decided to tell me the truth about everything. She told me she had grown tired of me and sent me off to live with my father in America, who had no idea I even existed. By then I was strange and very mature for someone my age and I had a deep-seated fear with being locked in any enclosed space. Riding in an elevator took months to get over. Eventually, I settled into life as a human for a time. In my teens I had turned into something of a monster, having discovered the touch of another person for the first time. Oh, I had seen it at the cult lots of times, but I was off limits. Now I was old enough to have a taste for it myself, and guess who inherited their mothers need? I was.
My father didn't approve much of that, but what could he do? Ishtar paid him a visit about the time that all of this had started and told him the truth. He didn't believe her, at first, but soon came to realize that she was not joking with him. After I turned seventeen everything seemed to slow down an I could backoff the sex drive for a while. I discovered that I loved to read old literature. It was fascinating, really. Then I began to get into acting and all that.
So, I aim to be an actor one day, even if I am a little hard to handle.
Brief Personality: flirty, intense, and double-edged. On the outside I appear to be charming and flirty. I love a good romp in the sack every once in a while (or everyday is fine with me). Getting close to someone skin to skin is the perfect way to get to know them, and also a little game I like to play. I like to pick a target and use all of my charms and dashing good looks to land people in the sack. I don't make a habit out of sleeping with the same person twice though unless they were really that interesting. Underneath all of that I am the kind of person that dose not like to be toyed with. I do not like having my own games played on me. I like it to be on my terms an no one elses. I also don't like overly forward women; it's kind of a turn off. Underneath the lust and the sex, I am an intense kind of person. I don't like sharing my past or my feelings with others, but when I do I am very in depth and intense with my feelings. I am a passionate man, not to be mixed up with compassion. I am not a forgiving person and I am also jealous. My mother didn't name me 'evil spirit demon' for nothing. That being said I like to drown myself in parties and music. That atmosphere is intoxicating to me and I can lose myself in it.

Name: Sidra Kiora Valentine
Age: 18
Race(s): Demon (Succubus/Snake)
Brief History: Like all children, I was born to a mother and a father. I guess what separates me from everyone else is that well... they were both demons. My father was from a long line of snake demons, and pure bloods at that. My mother was a succubus. My fathers family wasn't particularly happy with him marrying a succubus, but they really had no say in the matter. My father would do what he wanted, and that's all there was to it. Back then, the two of them were so in love that no one would have ever guessed that my mother cheated on my father, and that's how my brother was born.
It was a terrible secret that wouldn't be shared until me and my brother were older. I was twelve when it happened and my brother was eleven.
It was enough that my father just couldn't believe that my mother would do something like that to him. Weren't they in love? Didn't they promise to share their lives together and never be apart? To this, my mother answered simply that she was a succubus, and she just couldn't control herself at the time.
What it really came down to was that she hadn't loved my father as much as she thought she did.
After that, there was no point in keeping the family together. My mother moved far, far away with Daemon (my brother) and I never saw or heard from them again. I stayed behind with my father and we tried to pick up the pieces of our lives. It was about that time that I started to notice how I reacted to couples and mentions of love. I was uncomfortable. I guess after everything that had happened with my parents, it was only natural that I would build a wall between my heart and love. It would take some time to try and fix that problem, but I am in no hurry to do so.
In a lot of ways, I am just like my mother... must be the succubus blood running through my veins, but I'd like to think I was more like my father. But I do hope that if I find that special person to give me butterflies in the pit of my stomach... that I don't let go of them. But I laugh at the idea of ever finding such a person.
Brief Personality: amazing. I know, it may be hard for you to believe that I could really be this awesome, but it is true. I am pretty, I'm hot and I know it and I like to show it! There isn't a day that goes by that I don't like to flirt and have fun with everyone else.... well, only the pretty ones anyway. I hide what really bothers me deep inside like any kind of commitment in a relationship. Can't I just have fun and like, not have to be anyone's girlfriend? please? Any kind of commitment scares me and makes me run the other way, and please don't tell me you love me... I'll just laugh at you and walk away. Yeah, I guess I really am kind of a b***h, but at least I am a sexy b***h.
That being said, I can also be very cute because I can skip around the halls when I am very happy... which seems to be all the time. But I can also say that I don't like fighting. I am a lover not a fighter, kay? So never ask for me to be your champion because let's be serious here for a moment; I like sex far too much and I don't like getting mud on my shoes.

Name: Adriel Emma Rothstein
Age: 19
Race(s): Human (Digidestined)
Brief History: There are many things in life to experience, but I never thought I would go through some of the most difficult ones. It wasn't always that way, in the beginning, but later everything changes and some bonds are broken. They teach you that making bonds of friendship with others is an important thing, but then they turn around and break them. Love, friendship, trust… everything can be broken if you let it. Well, my parents let it.
We lived in San Fansico, California. It was sunny, warm, and there was always something interesting to see. It was nice. My parents ran and owned a small, upbeat restaurant along the main street. It was small, but it was popular with the tourists and the locals. They served all kinds of authentic foods. My older brother used to walk me around town and buy me ice cream. Things were peaceful. That was until I turned seven. My parents had been fighting for the last year. They tried to be quiet, but our house was small and both Kevin and I could hear them. They didn't want us to know, but we knew. We never thought they would ever go through with their threats of getting a divorce, but they did. Later that year after it was finalized, it was over. Our family was splitting apart.
Kevin stayed with our father and I went with our mother. Kevin and papa moved to New York shortly after and I never heard from them again.
Mother and I continued to run the restaurant for a time, but it was much harder without papa around to help her out. So a few months later she sold the business. She had a job offer from one of her relatives in Japan so we packed up and moved to Tokyo. One thing about this is, no I am not part Japanese. My mothers sister had moved to Japan and started a bakery and after her late husband passed away she needed some help. So my mom agreed.
Tokyo was vastly different from the life I had lived in California. The language was also very different and difficult to learn, but over time I managed. It was especially hard at first because I didn't know anyone. I had no friends over here, and I still don’t. I’m an outsider no matter how you look at me. My looks just scream ‘foreigner,’ and many picked on me because of it. It was due to all of the bullying that I turned inwards. I wasn't always an introverted child, but from all of the constant teasing and pestering I started to stay away from everyone.
After finishing grade school I didn't continue on to college. Instead I started helping out at my aunts bakery. I had always loved the smell of fresh baked bread and sweets, so it was easy for me to get a job there. The work was hard, but it paid off. Working there, I could let my mind wander and roam. I could daydream all I wanted and not get made fun of for it.
In my imagination I could be anyone I wanted to be, and that made me feel at least half whole. There was still a gap somewhere that couldn't be filled, but for now I was okay with that.
Brief Personality: I would rather be described as someone who was strong, determined, and independent. But the truth is I'm the shy, clumsy type of girl who sticks to herself and tries not to stand out in a crowed. I'm not mean, I'm just an introvert by nature and I just don't know how to make friends right off the bat with people. I like to stand back and listen and watch people before I jump into conversations with them. It's my way of getting to know them without having to actually talk to them. But there is a way to get around that. If there is a topic of conversation that really interests me, I may cast aside all my worries and anxieties and jump head first into the conversation. There are also those times when I am hyped up on sugar that might bend the laws of my inner mind and make me look like a total fool. The truth is, when I can connect with someone and make that bod of friendship, I will do anything for them. I won't let anyone stay behind and I will do my damnedest to make sure everyone will be all right. But to get there, you have to get through the shy little girl.
And just because I'm nice, doesn't mean I can't get mad. One of the quickest ways to make me mad is to threaten my friends or to call me some kind of short name. Like pipsqueak, shorty, munchkin, or small fry. I just don't like that.

Name: Akihiko Ichirou Hideyoshi
Age: 18
Race(s): Human (Reincarnation of Miroku)
Brief History: Akihiko had great fortune (or misfortune) to be born into the Hideyoshi family. Born from a long line of Buddhist monks, Akihiko has been trained to be one since he could walk. Was it too much to ask for a normal childhood? Apparently so. This young man learned that he didn't need worldly possessions or things like that to survive in the world. Though, they did have a TV and a computer (his father loved feudal era drams and watched them all the time), so he wasn't sheltered from the outside world. He was taught about spirits, demons, and learned all the old tales of the past... though, in all honesty, he thought it was a bunch of crap. When he was younger, Akihiko had wanted to be a monk just like his father, but now that he was growing and changing, he had so much potential to be so much more than that.
Akihiko argued constantly with his father about it, who wanted him to follow in the traditional ways of their family, and Akihiko who wanted to be himself. After Akihiko turned fifteen, his father was involved in a violent care accident that took his life. After that, Akihiko became head of his family and the Shakujō was passed on to him. Still wanting to be more than a simple monk, Akihiko pressed on with his education and entered college to major in Myth and Folklore. He was already a walking textbook when it came to Japanese Myths, but he wanted to know more. This was also pressed on him after a nasty break up with his long term sweetheart (who he was also planning to marry after college) who said she didn't want to marry a monk. Getting over it was tough for the man, but he did and fell back into his womanizing ways.
In his opinion it was better to flirt with many and get smacked than to date one and end up with a knife in his heart.
While in college, he is not officially on the soccer team, but he does practice with them from time to time to keep in shape; gotta look good for the ladies, after all.
Brief Personality:
▶ charming
▶ quiet
▶ womanizer
▶ short-tempered
▶ insightful

Name: Aion la'Albion D'ia Fannel
Age: 26
Race(s): Harpy
Brief History: Far to the south and high in the mountains surrounded by a dense forest at their feet, live the Harpies. The Harpy race is constructed upon the rule that the strong survive and the weak fail; a fundamental principle that every young Harpy learns. The Harpies are a small tribe, most of their numbers had died off long ago and they had never been able to grow beyond thirty or forty in numbers. It is said that their people had committed a great sin against a dragon and their whole tribe paid the price for it. The Harpies are led by a Chief who is said to be the strongest among them, though anyone can challenge him for the title, his oldest son will have the first chance. After suffering a great loss, the Harpies had then retreated to the mountains and now guard their homes from any outside influence. Some Harpies are traders and often visit the closest village to trade for things they cannot get in the mountains on their own. Most of the other Harpies are either hunters or weavers. The only link the Harpies have to the outside world are through the select few who are brave enough to trade with the outside world. On the Harpy mountain, information of the outside is extremely valuable since the Harpies wanted to keep a check on the state of the outside world. This was how they found out about the North and the strange rumors that went with it.
Well, I should say how I learned about the North and the mysteries it held.
I am Aion, first prince of the Harpies though I suppose I should change that to ex-prince. I was disowned when my twin brother, Aeon, beat me in the test for the title of Chief. The two of us were exact opposites; I was selfish and arrogant while he was strong and helpful. The two of us grew up side by side, never one without the other and still we turned out this way. It seemed like father was always favoring Aeon, though he never refused me anything I could see it in his face that I was not his pick to be Chief. I dealt with this by trying to best my brother in every way I could. In archery, I was the best. In song, his flute could not compare to my harp. And in dance, his compassion could not match my fire. I was slowly turning into a monster deep inside, like the Beast who sneered at a rose from an old woman; I was that man. Instead of turning my beautiful face into a monster, I was shunned by my parents. They never showed me love and kindness.
Finally, the test of Courage set out before me and my brother by our father had come; our Twentieth birthday. At the age of twenty, each male Harpy is gifted with a tattoo by the Fortune teller. Aeon got a tribal sun over his heart and the symbol for strength. For me, I was given tattoos around my face and the symbol on the back of my neck for something I later discovered was-- Traitor. For now, no one knew about that tattoo expect for me and her and she would never tell me what it was. The fortune she told me-- "There are clouds spread across your horizon; your wings will fail you and your harp will lose its strings. The fire will be sapped from your dance and your appearance will lose to another. You do not see your flaws and that will be your downfall. Betrayal will fall upon you dear prince of vanity and anger-- another will best you and rise to greater heights than you can ever reach" and that was where she ended.
I sneered at her and strode off; I didn't believe in such things.
The test was a test of strength through the lower mountains, the Trail of the Dragon. It was dangerous and filled with spikes and boulders and the wind that blew through there was strong-- many died. Aeon was confident and shared a friendly smile with me before we jumped and dove into the Trail. At first, I had no problems out powering him and taking the lead, but somewhere towards the end of the Trail arrows fell from the sky like rain. I managed to dodge one arrow, but a downpour of them fell and pierced my wings. I fell, sure I would die when my brother caught me and carried me with him to the end. Aeon would not let me die, but he would not let me win either. Falling to the arrows meant I had lost. Aeon delivered me to the feet of the king who stared down at me like a failure. He told me I was not fit to be his son and that I was to leave the mountains never to return. He then beat me with his fists and drug me from the mountains and tossed me into the trees.
I laid there, defeated and betrayed by my own father and still all I could see was my brothers face. It angered me. The fortune teller found me and fixed my wounds, then she finished the fortune-- "This is not all there is, your tale does not end here. Fly to the North and seek your fortune there. The North is home to many things-- and wonders. Go, and learn from your mistakes." I understand that she was trying to help me, but it seemed her words did not reach me. All I could see was a chance to find something to bring back and defeat my brother. I would gain power beyond imagine and destroy him!
So to the North I went. I spent the next six years making my way to the Northern Continent (as I later learned) and learning about this world I had never seen before. It took me that long to find my way North, but now that I was here... I would do everything I could to gain the power that I saught.
Brief Personality: quiet, arrogant, and selfish. I don't show compassion and humility all that easily, and that tends to piss some people off. I was spoiled like a rich prince in a shiny castle; everything I could ever want was at my fingertips. I treat others like they are lesser than I am (because in my eyes I am amazing) and think everyone should be my servant. I am also very vain about my looks. I have a nasty temper and am quick to act out when I'm in a really bad mood. Despite my temper and my arrogance, I am quiet and peaceful. I like being the center of attention, no matte what the circumstances are. A smile from me can be deceiving, so I would suggest not to trust it.

Name: Akira Momoko
Age: 16
Race(s): Human Persona (Justice Arcana)
Brief History: Akira was born an only child to a pair of middle class parents; Haruka and Chiaki. They were a small, happy family and that was all that mattered to them. Haruka was a history professor at the university, while Chiaki worked at a gardening shop. As a child Akira was happy and go-lucky for the longest time until the accident happened. It was just after her ninth birthday when her mother was closing up the shop for the night and getting ready to head home. A guy approached her in a black ski mask and held up a gun to her chest. Chiaki kept her calm and handed the guy the money from the register, because she had not locked it in the safe yet. After getting the money, the guy made some comments about how pretty she was and if she would like a good time. Chiaki followed him outside and as soon as his guard was down, she kneed him in the groin and took off. The man fired shots after her, but they all missed because he had been running; chasing after her. Chiaki ran out into the street... and was hit by a car. The man who had been chasing her jumped into the car-- since it was actually his partner in the drivers seat-- and took off. The only parts of the story that the police and Akira know are that she was robbed and then she had run out into the street where she'd been hit by the car. They never found the thief. Instead they ruled Chiaki's death as an accident; a simple mistake of her running into the road without looking.
After that, Akira began spending a lot of time at the university with her father, Haruka. She stayed locked up in the library for hours on end just reading and reading. What would she read? Well, she would read almost anything. Her father was an expert with Samurai and the like, so she had started out there but she soon branched off into other topics. Akira used to have many friends, but after her mothers death had changed her she lost many of them. She just was
