Arcene appeared inside the valley, on the rock piling in front of the cave, which he walked into, carrying Rinoa and Unisha inside, where he laid them both down on what had been a lab table leaning on a counter, but the explosion had fused the two together. Then he went looking around, coming back in about five minutes with enough rope to bind both of them, which he did, quickly and effectively, also binding them to steel slag piles and such, so they wouldn't escape, even though he bound feet and hands. He still wasn't sure though if the Unicorn could shift while bound like she was now. After he was sure the bindings were secure, he took all of there equipment, anything that looked like it could be used as a weapon, potions, ether's, he even took Rinoa's other arm warmer since she could use it to conceal an improvised weapon. The way they were bound kept them from really going anywhere. by now they were just beginning to stir.

Arcene looked at the two of them for a moment, silent except for the wind whistling into the cave occasionally causing a ruffling in his feather's, exposing tiny flashs of red among the black occasionally as he simply stood there for a moment, watching. Then, he reached under his cloak, pulling out two square package's in slightly yellow paper-like wrapping. He throws one onto each of there laps. "Hold it with your knees and tear it open with your teeth when you get hungry. You'll both manage, im sure." He says, before turning away, heading towards the exit of the cave.

Arcene paused when Unisha began yelling at him. When she asked if he had freinds, it sent his memory's back to the bonds he had forged throughout planets, galaxy's, dimensions. Forged bright and fast, fading just as fast. Only four bonds had stayed true through everything, only four people truly remained, through everything that happened, throughout all. Then, those bonds had been snapped, one by one. He truly had no one anymore, nobody that would not fade away just as fast as they had become friends, not anymore. He was alone again, no matter how many were with him. It was a hollow feeling, a hollow life. No bonds, no remorse. It made him into the brutally efficient killer he could be, killing enemy and innocent alike in the blaze of battle to achieve his own goals. How different, truly, were he and Jenova from one another? She had killed more? She had lived longer? At the core, the two of them were far closer then he had been to those who surrounded him for a long time. Maybe that was why his armor had left him. Maybe that was why the matrix left him. "Dont be so assured in what you think you know." He says, loud enough that Unisha could hear.

Arcene's shoulders lost there firm resolve as Unisha's speech hit not one, but several old, scarred nerve's. "Have you ever sacrificed family for the so-called 'greater good'?" He asks, without turning. "Have you stood there, and watched, as your own sister was murdered slowly in front of you, with the power to save her, but not acting, all for the 'greater good'? Have you felt as your entire family, one by one, was killed, when you could have stopped it, when you could have saved them, saved them easily?" He asks, as his own memory surfaced as well, those four moments, the moments when they died, each time, the bond snapping, rebounding like the force of a nuke, desolating him and those who were left. Then pressing on, fighting on. Why? To save a bunch of faceless, thankless creature's from being killed. That had been him, once. He didnt believe it was now. Why fight for those you dont even know, at the expense of your own life? all of his freinds had sacrificed themselves for that, freinds that had been closer then his family ever had. His real family, even with all there differences, age, race, gender, all of it, they had been together.

Arcene looked back at them after a moment, about o speak. Then, suddenly, almost like a flash, the armored shell that had formed in his mind that protected the Xenomorph's along with his true spirit stabbing out into the front of the mind, just for a moment, using the surprise against Jenova to gain control of his speech for a moment. "I cant stop her, not yet. Her hold is still too strong." Is all he managed to get out before the Jenova began chewing away his mental extension, and he was forced to pull it back again, leaving Jenova once more in control. However, the way he had done it made his mind, the physical one which Jenova had infected, think i had said what it was going to, and he turned, leaving the cave, pausing at the edge of the rocky outcropping, looking over the lush green and blue valley below.

Arcene heard nothing over the waterfall, as another consideration came into his mind for his two captive's, since he intended to keep them alive unless Jenova ordered him to kill them. Just in case. So now he was wondering how he would make sure they stayed reasonably hydrated without him showing up every few hours.

Arcene stood with a sigh, not sure how he was going to get the two a constant supply of water. Things had been easier when he had had a couple people with him to help keep everything up... And he hadnt been halfway across the world from where he was planning to go.
