§ Mana, Court of Redemption § Fighting to Heal the World Mana, Court of Redemption is a newly risen faction of senshi and other like-minded powers who believe that Princess Serenity is out there waiting to be found. They also believe that if she knew that senshi were endangering civilians and blithely killing their enemies with no thoughts of trying to purify and redeem them, she would be utterly horrified. For Mana, death is considered a very last resort and only considered if there is absolutely no chance for redemption. However, don't mistake the desire to save as a sign of weakness or inability. At the core of Mana is strength and a warning that they will not hesitate to kick your a** if the need arises.

Rules The Mana Court are bound by the belief that all life is precious and that their Princess would want them to fight to save life, not to end it. Those who wish to join Mana must abide by this philosophy. Additionally, those who are part of Mana have taken the Makaiju as a totem of sorts. She gave her life and the lives of her children to protect those of the White Moon and by Serenity, Mana will not allow that sacrifice to be forgotten. 1. While violence and fighting are necessary to protect those without special powers, killing should be considered a very last resort. 2. If there is a true opportunity for purification of one's enemy, TAKE IT. 3. Some enemies are a lost cause and must be destroyed for the good of all. It is regrettable, but necessary. 4. The Makaiju gave her life for ours. We will protect her last living seed out of respect for that sacrifice. 5. We do not endanger those we are sworn to protect. If possible, carry the battle away from innocent bystanders. 6. Take pride in your strength and abilities. Do not be ashamed of yourself for being good at fighting. The world will always need those skilled in warfare to protect those who are not. 7. The only secret we keep is the location of our Tree. We will not repay self-sacrifice with foolishness and loose lips. 8. We are followers of the Moon Kingdom, but we will not shy away from a fight simply because we lack a Princess. 9. Serenity will return. We will ensure that she has a home to return to. 10. Life is a precious thing. Respect it.

Mana, Court of Redemption What You Need to Know Why would anyone take the Makaiju as a symbol? They know from the very thoughts of the Tree before its final sacrifice that Sailor Moon healed and cleansed the evil from it. That is returned to Earth to ask for more purification for the sake of its children. The Tree’s last act was to protect the subjects of the Moon Princess from harm at the expense of its own life and the lives of its offspring, therefore, as a token of their vow to keep faith and show their gratitude for the Tree’s gift, the Mana Court have taken, planted and protect the last living seed of the Tree. Why would a senshi or powered individual join Mana?Mana is for those who truly believe that Serenity will return. That she would want to save lives rather than take them. These are the senshi who have looked death in the face, seen and sometimes taken part in terrible things and realized that it makes them heartsick. After all, Sailor Moon didn't go around killing willy-nilly. She fought to save and purify. She did it for the Tree and rumor has it that she did it for a certain upstart "Moon Queen" once too.Are there benefits to Mana? The support and company of the like-minded for one thing. Training in battle skills and control of one's powers for another. Mana believes in supporting its fighters and giving them trust and loyalty. Additionally, the members of Mana believe in friendship and will be there for you in or out of uniform. So what's the downside?Mana does not believe in killing, except in certain cases where the enemy is beyond any hope of redemption (see Beryl). So, if you kill, you will be punished and most likely drummed out of Mana. Unless you can prove beyond any doubt that the death you caused was completely justified, you can look forward to having your name whispered about as being untrustworthy after you've been kicked to the curb. The only exception to this rule are most youma as they were likely never human and are unable to be purified.Since there's a Makaiju seed, will there be more aliens? Not from this tree. While the single seed that was discovered was able to grow and live, it has no magic left. It will never sprout little alien babies or talk to the senshi who protect it. At most, it is simply an odd looking tree with strangely colored leaves hidden away in Destiny City Park.

Beliefs and Goals To the right, to the left We will fight to the death To the edge of the earth It's a brave new world, it's a brave new world It's a brave new world
I do believe in the light Raise your hands up to the sky The fight is done, the war is won Lift your hands, towards the sun Our Princess WILL Return- Fight to ensure that she has a home worth coming back to - Bolster wavering faith in her return - Be vigilant Senshi are NOT Terrorists!- Never endanger an innocent - There is no such thing as an 'Acceptable Loss' - If the battle cannot be moved, defend those caught in the crossfire - If need demands it, protect the innocent from one of your own - Never seek to kill without just causeKeepin' the Faith- Protect our Tree - Do not fear self-sacrifice if that is the only way - Respect all life

OOC FAQs Question Everything How did you get permission to use the Doom Tree?I asked for Saiph to find a seed and was lucky enough to be told yes. The conditions of finding and planting a viable seed were as follows: It will NEVER talk. Ever. It is not magical. It will not sprout little aliens. It is, for all intents and purposes a simple tree with weird looking leaves. My senshi is already part of a smaller Team. Can they still be part of Mana?Absolutely. As long as they follow the rules and honor the ideals, there is no reason at all why they can't be part of both a Team and the Mana Court. How would my senshi learn about Mana?Mainly through rumors. However, actual invitations are issued using leaves from the sapling Doom Tree II with small scraps of paper tied to the stems telling senshi where to go. Once a senshi is accepted into Mana, they are brought to the Tree and sworn in.How are Meetings and Trainings conducted?Meetings are considered to be held at least weekly (don't worry, most of these will not be RP'd out) with group training occurring every two to three days. What if my senshi doesn't really believe that Serenity is coming back, but believes in the rest?Be prepared for a whole lot of chirping from all sides about how Serenity will return, you'll see. For Mana, the fact that a senshi believes in their work, but not so much in Serenity is a very small nitpick. Mana knows that the senshi in question will come around in time.
Additionally, it is probably best to think of Mana as a Sub-Court of the White Moon. They owe allegiance to Serenity, but at the same time, they are pretty much a power unto themselves and they will do what they must to do their jobs.

Members of Mana The members of the Mana Court don't believe in military precision or rank status. They follow a very loose power structure with the founding members of Mana being seen as more or less the Leaders. Super Sailor Saiph, Senshi of the Primordial - Founder and Co-Captain of the Mana Court and Mana's power hitter in terms of damaging attacks.Super Sailor Corvus, Senshi of Vengeance - Founder and Co-Captain of the Mana Court.Sailor Eridanus, Senshi of Ink - Founder of the Mana Court.Sailor Alshain, Senshi of Gryphons - Founder of the Mana Court.

Mana will support Serenity should she return and have hopes that one day it will happen, but the lack of her presence does not keep them from upholding their belief in what she once stood for as well as their belief in what senshi should be doing in the name of the moon greater good.

Sign Me Up! Name: Galatea Rank: Sailor General Impression: Sweet if timid sailor, she just needs a little practice to get better. And she knows Corvus. : D (I failed at this sorry). Battle Strengths: She is a defensive-type character in battle, and as such is more support than anything. Battle Weaknesses: As she's only defense, she wouldn't be able to fight on her own. Also, she has little experience and would need a lot of help and training to get better.
