im still new to making any edm besides chiptune, so idk if this sounds good.

its alright..... i dont know what to say liek it strieks me as a filler track for a mix. keep working on it. melody is so fun to work with in chiptune :]

the problem i find is that there isnt enough for my taste. you can only make 16 loops, each being 16 steps and consisting of a drum kit, and two processors. also the song can only be so long too.

while the program i typically work with can have an infinite number of loops and i dont even know how long, but ive never come close to filling up all the data in a single song. and you have 4 channels which you usually cram 5-6 instruments into; pulse 1 being bass and kick drum, pulse 2 lead melody, wav being for rhythm or w/e and samples, and the noise channel for other percussion.

this new one i like better but if you can make 3 part harmoneys with the melody in parts i think itll give it just more oomph you know. chiptune just always sounds so empty and far to gameboyey. granted i understand thats the point.

but adding in multiple synth melody tuns that meld together i think would be really cool

after i fill up this cartridge i might start running 2 gameboys at the same time. it'll give me a lot more channels to work with and i can run through a kaoss pad without worrying about messing with the drums. currently im pushing all i can do with one gameboy to the limit.
