Lirqua Kinitisemao "If it's natural to kill, how come men have to go into training to learn how?” Standing in the center of the arena, a tall, pale skinned and tattooed woman held a cylinder of metal, turning it over in her hand as she waited. For what, or more specifically who, she did not truly know, except for the fact it was an apparently human man who wanted to be the apprentice of the same Sith lord she desired. In addition to the unfamiliar lightsaber in her hand, Lirqua had found replacements for her two previously destroyed Liquidsilver L7 blaster pistols and also added a two-inch blade hidden within the buckle of her gunbelt. Humming a haunting, Mando war song, the Na'Coda Assassin waited for her opponent to show his face and meet her challenge. The answer is simple, women are naturally better killers and men are just jealous.

Battle Arena: Apprentice Duel
Horatio stepped out into the open of the arena, looking about it's vast enormity to see his opponent in the center. His proposed Master lie in wait in the surrounding darkness. Horatio could not identify where he was. He felt the eyes though and proceeded forth until he was standing about seven meters from the woman. She looked menacing, but held no threat in his eyes. Not unless she held it within. He displayed a grin, staying silent for the time being. How would he start off, was the question he now pondered. Horatio thought and then decided to speak.
"Well? Lets hear it you worthless bonthan dung."
He shifted his weight to feel more comfortable as he no doubt made her aggravated. This was just the beginning of a long and torturous battle she wouldn't win.

Lirqua Kinitisemao "If it's natural to kill, how come men have to go into training to learn how?” As soon as Horatio spoke, his opponent's free hand flew to the handle of one of her blasters. Whipping the firearm out of it's holster, Lirqua deftly began firing upon the human, not caring for his insults or the overconfident air about him. Continuing her fire upon her rival for apprenticship, Lirqua strode forward and activated the bronze blade of the lightsaber in her hand. The Na'Coda assassin had no formal training with the Sith and Jedi weapon, but she knew enough to make her deadly with both it and her blasters. The answer is simple, women are naturally better killers and men are just jealous.

Battle Arena: Apprentice Duel
He expected something close to this behavior from the woman and he took careful concentration to bend and twist, ducking about to dodge the baster attacks. He leaped over and roll under the attacks before hopping away from her. He stood in a defensive stance. Gathering his breath he spoke again.
"Are you not capable of words? Do you only speak with such savage behavior? It is a pity. I am surprised you even made it as an assassin, but no matter. Clearly your actions are so blind and wild, I doubt you could be taught anything, and so that would clearly exclude you from apprenticeship. Hehe, This is nothing more than a game now. Here I thought I might actually receive a challenge and yet, all I am rewarded with is your mindless gun-blazing rabid a**."
He was laughing the whole time just dancing around in one spot waiting for the woman to make her next move. No doubt she would try and attempt to kill him again with such blind attacks.

Lirqua Kinitisemao "If it's natural to kill, how come men have to go into training to learn how?” Holding her fire, Lirqua smiled and deactivated the bronze blade. Also replacing her blaster in its holster, the tall, Na'Coda Assassin strode closer to Horatio. "Such violence is how I respond to schutta such as yourself. We are rivals for the tutelage of the same Master, the least we owe eachother is a proper greeting, if not respect. With a greeting such as the one you gave me, my response was the norm, if only to me and my people." Now clipping the energy blade to her gun belt, Lirqua gave her rival and hated enemy a flourishing bow, though she kept her eyes on Horatio at all times. Standing striaght, the thin, inked assassin began circling the other, like a predator does its prey.
"Do not doubt my abilities as an Assassin, nor should you ponder how I came to be as such. I'll tell you. I was born a killer, a hunter an Assassin. You believe this to be a game, that I am no challenge, no threat, to you and your assumed future. I believe differently." Holding her arms out before her as she walked, Lirqua cracked her joints one at a time before continuing. "You think that I am a mindless animal, blind to its surrounding and wilder than a rabid Kath hound. I'll tell, I may be insane, but I will never be mindless, even past my three hundreth birthdate. Now, I want to be the Sith's Apprentice, and you wish to claim this honor as well, but I am not willing to let you have it. Ever. I am known as Lirqua Kinitisemao, Assassin heir of the Na'Coda vessel, No Man's Land. Give me your name, then die at my hand!"The answer is simple, women are naturally better killers and men are just jealous.

He smiled letting her play out this display and returned her bow. This change is behavior only served to reinforce her insanity statement. He chuckled watching as she surrounded him and shifted his weight here and there.
"So you think that someone as...insane as you could properly be the student, prodigy, weapon, that Darth Silas is looking for? I doubt it. I have yet to foolishly underestimate him. I didn't give him such trouble as to cause immediate distrust. You did however, and if you somehow make it, I doubt you will go very far. Besides, your wild behavior could be more destructive than your worth. As we are both assassins, you more unstable than I, and certainly more impulsive, I wouldn't choose you for anything but a foot soldier."

Lirqua Kinitisemao "If it's natural to kill, how come men have to go into training to learn how?” Horatio's next words brought manical laughter from his feminine opponent. Lirqua was almost doubled over with her hysterics until she reigned in the cackling. "You know nothing of my people and our history with the Sith and the Dark Side. You say I am too unstable and destructive to be a Sith Apprentice? I say you know nothing of the Sith, you scum-sucking human! The Dark side is inherently psychotic and no matter how much they seem to hold their minds together, all Sith are mad and insane! Why? Because, that is the nature of the universe! Nothing is sane! Nothing can sooth the anger and insanity that will inevitably bring down the very fabric of the republic and indeed the very structure of our dimension!" Turning rapidly and rushing at him, Lirqua flashed out her left hand to slash at his face with her talons. Knowing he was likely to dodge or counterattack, the alien woman did not fully commit to the swipe and cartwheeled sideways just as she reached Horatio and continued with that motion until she was a few meters away.
"I will win and become Silas' apprentice. This will happen because, unlike you, I admit to my insanity and embrace it. You will lose because you decieve yourself and hide behind false confidences and intelligence. Thank you for telling me my future master's name, by the way. I grew tired of his namelessness during his threatening introduction." Tossing her hair nonchalantly, Lirqua turned to see how her rival fared with her sudden advance. The answer is simple, women are naturally better killers and men are just jealous.

It was as if they were dancing, he dodged and deflected her attacks with precise movements. She was sadly mistaken if she thought that was what being a Sith was about.
"You are mistaken. Having knowledge of the Darkside and being a Sith is much more than being insane. It is using anger and passion to rule. You display those that failed in their quest for power and became so consumed they died by the simplest of ways. Your future will be nothing different. I am different because I have the capacity to have control of my power. The Darkside is never inherently psychotic. That is just what happens to the weak and feeble minded fools who take on more power than they can handle. I am not going to try and kill my master so foolishly soon."

Lirqua Kinitisemao "If it's natural to kill, how come men have to go into training to learn how?” Lirqua frowned, dropping her aggressive hunters stance and crossed her arms over her chest. She did nothing but stand and stare at Horatio as seconds passed. She didn't like this man. He was too confident, too assured of his future and his victory. Dropping all pretense of insanity and hostility, Lirqua calmly stepped forward to where her quiet tone could be heard. "Your beliefs differ greatly from mine. I will not contest that fact, nor should you. You, however, know nothing of the connection my people have to the Dark Side. Since the beginning of my culture, the Na'Coda have felt the Force and used it for our own means. The Dark Side came easily to us and has showed many of the Na'Coda the truths of the Galaxy and that is why I seek proper training in Sith ways. You are human, nothing more. You only have a few decades to live, maybe a century or more with aid from the Force. I and my people will live for half a millenium, if not a full millenium." Stepping away from him, Lirqua strode even further away than when they'd begun this confrontation.
Stopping, she rubbed her hands together, as though she was cold and wished to warm herself. Taking hold of her hate for this man, Lirqua felt power grow inside of her chest. She couldn't explain just what it was, but she knew it was what she would need to win against Horatio. "You may think of this as nothing but a farce, that you will inevitably take victory over me and therein sentence me to torture and death. But I have news for you. To underestimate a Na'Coda, especially one who is and always will be an Assassin, will only bring you own downfall, human. Your control will bring you to your limits far before I meet mine." Facing him once more, Lirqua drew both of her blasters and leveled them at Horatio. Her talonned fingers stayed outside of the trigger guards. She smiled, but it wasn't an insane, fanatical smile. It was nothing but lethality and anger. She threw the L7's out to her sides and once more took a charging stance.
"I grow tired of this banter. You say nothing that carries meaning to my ears any more. Our oppinions of the Dark side have been laid bare. Neither one of us is willing to concede to the other and admit failings, so there is only one thing left to do. Draw whatever weapon you brought with you and ready yourself. I offer no quarter, no mercy, your life will slake my thirst and then I will take my place as Silas' apprentice. Are you ready? To die?"The answer is simple, women are naturally better killers and men are just jealous.

"Wrong! You and your people are simple imbeciles who have no real idea how the force works. You are just lucky you can feel it and even comprehend it's existence. I am also not just a human. So I would do some research if I were you. But don't read too much. I wouldn't want that little inadequate mind of yours to simply explode."
He now began to pace around her, circling her with with a slow purpose, taking in every inch of her figure, learning, watching. There was no way he could lose. Her intellect was fractured, broken, wild. It was a shame he was having this encounter.

Lirqua Kinitisemao "If it's natural to kill, how come men have to go into training to learn how?” Once more, Lirqua began laughing, quietly at first, then louder and louder until she suddenly stopped and twisted her body towards Horatio, letting her left arm fly out after passing over her belt. A small two-inch blade flew from Lirqua's hand towards her opponent's throat. She followed this attack with a dive towards one of her discarded blasters. Grabbing it from the ground, the Na'Coda Assassin came to her feet and once more began firing upon the not just human. She did not bother to respond to his insult, as she'd previously stated that she had nothing more to say to Horatio. The answer is simple, women are naturally better killers and men are just jealous.

I am ending this battle now. My decision has been made. Here is what I used to make my decision:
1.) Lirqua, you have been on the defensive, not truly grabbing a hold of the situation.
2.) Horatio, While your spirit in this battle is good, I didn't sense your true fire.
3.) Lirqua, your continued physical assault attempts more than defense and attacks with words are a sign of a weakness, that can be improved.
Based on these and other considerations...I deem and award apprenticeship to Horatio. Congratulations. Lirqua, you may rechallenge again in 3 weeks.
