Kyjotan watched the small Pundu wiggle in it's leaf bed, wondering when his eyes would open. Early that day he noticed the other lilac colored Pundu, and hoped they would become friends. His green eyes began to well up with tears, and his whispy body sat on the edge of the bed. He hoped the kid would be nice, adventorus, and a hell of alot of trouble. Kyjotan was ready for anything.
"Uhhhhnnuuuu." The Pundu's eyes opened up. Kyjotan almost fell of the bed as the small moan of the little one called.
"Mantel." Kyjotan's hand poked the little furry chest of the Pundu playfully. Mantel giggled.
"Jo-jo.." Kyjotan blinked, wondering how Mantel knew his name. Mantel didn't stay awake long, as he soon was off to sleep again.
"A nickname." His eyes watered again as he pulled a large blanket over Mantel, snuggling himself next to the bed.
Kyjotan understood the rules of the Guardian. You have one time ever to physically interact with the Pundu, and he had used it. Kyjotan gave a quick smile before falling asleep, glad to have found this nice place before his arms gave out before him.

A month later.
"Well isn't it nice to see you up before the sun." Kyjotan laughed, sitting himself on a stump inside the cave they inhabitted. Since find Mantel, he got more of his body back, but he was still unable to pick up most things.
"Yeah, well if I don't eat this week..." Mantel wiped his eyes, hearing the sound of coins clashing as he blinked, seeing Kyjotan holding a small bag Mantel's voice was still of a child's, not hitting puberty yet. Kyjotan adored the boy, always trying to do his best to raise him.
"You will eat. I want you to go out into town. Meet some people."
"We said I didn't have to do this yet!"
"Well, not alone." Ky grinned, standing up, as his form shrunk into a three inch man.
".....Fine."

-Auction/Raffle Story-
Another simple morning had come, Mantel used to awaking before the sun. Food had come easier now with the on coming spring, and the tree that they had planted together awhile back had started to grow a sweet pink fruit.
Ky still wasn't up when I got up, so I left him there. I wondered how spirits could sleep. Or atleast that's what he called himself. The odd question of, why doesn't he look like me always came to mind, but I started to get an odd feeling and I let it behind.
And there I saw it. The volcano that sat on the island was not covered in snow. But in lava. Fear struck through me as I ran along the beach, now starting to follow tracks. They were deep, so I assumed the Pundu was heavy, or he was carrying someone.
Stopping myself before I got to far, I turned back, falling and scraping my knee. I had to awake Ky.
Mantel was in fear, Kyjotan could feel it tremebling through the small body he cared for. Ky held him tight, smiling softly as he sat him down. The blood on his knee would soon stain his fur, had he not began to bicker him about washing his knee..

He had hid. The whole battle of the island against the monster, he had hid. Although Ky couldn't be more afraid himself, he didn't need his child to starve. He constantly spoke to Mantel, trying to comfort him. Mantel was weak, malnutrioushed, and sick. Kyjotan woke Mantel, his voice soothing in the ears of the pundu. Mantel slowly sat up, rubbing his eyes. "Mantel, you need to eat. You'll die if you don't eat."
"I'm afraid of leaving Mantel. The shack I mean." Ky looked at Mantel with a sheer look of anger.
"Mantel, if you don't get out and eat some berries..." Mantel nodded trying to stand on his two weak, wobbly legs.

"Be careful." Kyjotan sat on the edge of the rocks, yawning as he watched Mantel hop from rock to rock and land on the sand.
"Yeah yeah." Mantel wadded into the water, carrying a spear as he threw it down into a small stream. "This is hard!" Mantel tried to pull the spear from the pebbles. "Nngggh!" He yelled jerking the spear from the rocks in the stream.
"Try aiming." Mantel relaxed holding the spear above his head as he aimed into the water hitting a fish in the side. Holding the spear with the fish on it, grinning widely. "I'm good."
"Yeah." Kyjotan grinned relaxing against the rocks, rubbing his back against the rock.
"Mmmnn!" Mantel bit into the fish, the poor dinner still wiggling.
"Cook the darned fish!"
