『zero to nine :: aka . childhood』
Akilina was raised London, England and loves the country with all her heart. There was nothing better than her home: Big Ben, fashion, fantastic winters, and even the ubiquitous Harry Potter author, J.K. Rowling. As a little girl, she loved biking and took to sports, especially American ones. Most of her fellow school children thought she was wild and like an American "hippie". She had no siblings, but was incredibly happy when she heard she would be getting a baby cousin. Her parents flew to America to greet the little boy. His name is Drake.
During Christmas, she discovered her love of Evel Knieval and stunt motorcycling. She also learned what the X-games were and all the other fascinating American sports. Her life changed. She learned how to dirt bike and would daydream about the day she would jump over school buses, but toy cars would have to do for the time. Akilina loved Christmas more than any holiday. Not only could she ride on a plane, but she would see her cousins, her favorite people.
Summertime meant long days of Russia. Akilina would visit her grandparents there and learn the language from her grandmother, who told her stories and taught her to bake. To her granny's dismay, Akilina was the worst baker ever. She burned food habitually. One summer, little Akilina was running at the side of her grandmother's house when she slipped off the side of the hill. She was rushed to the hospital and has since had increased trouble in paying attention.
『ten to twelve :: aka . pre-adolescence』
Akilina was an independent girl, despite her attention deficit condition. She had medicine just like her youngest cousin, Barbara, and she handled herself as well as she did. At the age of eleven, Akilina had a small reputation for spacing out in class. It was around then that Akilina learned to deal with bullies...through her cousin.
The year she entered fifth grade, Akilina felt very discouraged by her fellow classmates and how they treated her differently. On Christmas, she and Drake were trading secrets. Unfortunately, Drake had the worst secrets that were only silly, but Akilina wanted him to know what had been happening. Drake laughed and simply said, "Just be yourself." It wasn't much, but the idea worked. On her return to England, people saw her as much more fun. She was a teacher's pest. She had an affinity for pranks and Drake had told her to be herself. Too bad she ended up in trouble for all that.
『thirteen to eighteen :: aka . adolescence』
Akilina began racing motorbikes at the age of thirteen. She loved feeling the wind in her hair and the wild feeling she got inside. She practiced for years and gained a lot of popularity in her community.
England was her home and her truest love, but Akilina knew that she would have to leave it to pursue her wild dreams. She wanted to race and ride her motobike freely. The cobbled streets weren't too suited to it. At the age of seventeen, Akilina moved to America to live with her aunt and uncle. In America, Akilina utilized YouTube to show off her tricks and became popular with a small fanbase. She was hired by a movie company a year after moving to America.

Akilina currently loves her job and lives near her company's studio. She wishes she could spend more time with Drake and Barbara.
