I haven't really talked to Chibi in a while, so call this my hopeful plan to get some life back into the old GCA. Whether it be..you know...getting the roleplay going again or just getting the discussions to come back, we shouldn't let this place die!
Because frankly, I MISS YOU GUYS. gonk
So...we need some ideas/plans of action to get this place kicking again (if its possible.)
Since its getting into the Christmas season, I was considering hosting a guild Secret Santa. It might attract people to come back..because hey...who doesn't like gift giving/recieving? It could be items or art...or we could have one of each.
Lemme know if you guys would be interested, and if you have any ideas to throw around.

That's a good idea, actually. People are more active during the holidays, so we should take advantage of that.

I am personally all for that idea. . . I mean, I do love to make Art for people! And I think the person I'd be giving my art to would appreciate it, too!!! biggrin !!!!

Would be great to see anything that could be considered a twitch of life. Secret Santa may well be a splendid idea!
Now, having shown my face here and all that after another disappearance, I'm going to apologise again for continually vanishing. I wish I had something decent to blame, but as it is I don't, really. I'm just occupied, and rather mentally unable to sit down and concentrate on getting any constructive role playing done. Which is a shame, really, because it makes me feel neglecting, plus—role playing is fun and relaxing once I get into it. I can't even promise you'll be getting anything from me tonight, though, because, well, it's getting late over here. But I'll try and be on it as soon as possible. It would be great if we could advance.
And I'd definitely do my best to support a resurrection event, especially around Christmas—I really should allow myself to find the time then; anything else would just be silly to the point where I'd let you slap me with a fish thrice across the face.

Yay! I'm glad people are actually responding. >w< And they think the Secret Santa is a good idea! I'll have to ask Chibi to send out a Guild Announcement, since I'm only crew and I don't have the power to do that. emo
...I wonder if there's a way for me to be -in- the Secret Santa and run it as well. Hmmm.

Yes, we want life. I think I lost interest when Gaia let us down on plot developments. >.> Which is still happening! Then breaking my foot didn't help. I think a holiday rp sounds pretty fun. I'm also up for a secret santa. We needs more participation.

Also, yeah, I wish they'd get back to Sen, Seer and Gino. : They left us at a really bad cliffhanger.

So shall we consider the holiday RP a separate story arc just for the fun of it? It may be a weird thing to ask, but I figured I'd listen to the general opinion before I went crazy with it. ;3

Yeah, I think the holiday RP should probably stand on its own, though of course you can invent a reason for being invited to hang out with pirates on Christmas.

I'd try to invite my own friends for at least the holiday one but they usually never do it.
Of course next week is finals week, would it be alright if some of my posts are fairly short in the holiday RP? More than 3 sentences but prolly less than a paragraph...
