For this is why we have Memory.

+ I am: Nemosyn
+ Gender: Female
+ Holds Power Over: Memory, Truth, Language, and Storytelling. Has some hold over Time. Once was the goddess of Music.
+ Appearance: As Memory is a fickle thing, Nemosyn's appearance often changes. She can be dark and foreboding, transforming to light and fleeting in the blink of an eye. At times, she is barely visible, preferring to remain elusive to the naked eye. Often, when one thinks they see something moving out of the corner of their eye, they've unknowingly spotted Nemosyn. When not under the influence of Man's memories, she has a neutral appearance: dark hair and a smallish stature, with pale skin and gray eyes.
+ Weaknesses: The black cloud of Death weakens Nemosyn, as it does many things. Where Death precedes her, she finds herself transformed far past anything within the normal realms of mortal memory. She is also pestered by Lies, which change her dramatically - changes which she finds difficult to overcome. As she holds power over Truth as well, Nemosyn can be a bit of a brainwasher. She respects what is real and true, and if she finds a Lie, she will meddle with the memories of the people infected with the falsehood. She does not believe that this is wrong, though the action itself is morally ambiguous. Sometimes she disappears for a few days after a Lie has taken root in the common mind of the people, simply because it takes so much of her strength to set Truth within the minds of Man.
+ Origin/History: Nemosyn is a Titan, the daughter of Ouranos, the god of the Heavens. As there was no storytelling before she took over, little is known about her pre-history. She was once called Muse herself, and was a goddess of music before she lay with Zeus and mothered who are now known as the nine Moisai (the Muses), one of which inherited the realm of Music.
