Due to the blue bundle being 30% off, the powdy penguins have gone way down in price. Keep hunting, I got one for 45k, which is awesome. Just keep looking and wait for the right time to sell.

Yeah well I had hoarded 40 of them! I'm super pissed right now!!!
If I want profit off of those powdy pengys I'm gonna have to put them into storage and wait until next winter >.< I'm starting to get pissed at some of the people that run this guild and tell people, "Oh yeah, it's a great investment!" just so that people who are new to hoarding and what not stock up only to get screwed over but it's not like they can blame those that they trusted because they always cover their asses by saying, "Hey, it was a cash shop item; you took a risk" while in the meantime, they're sitting nicely on the huge capital they have and shrugging off their losses figuring they'll just wait the year out like it's nothing while we're all still trying to get our bearings. Ugh. Sorry for the ranting but come on!!!

We only suggest items that we think might do well.
And several people do say that items from the cash shop/rigs have a chance to be re-released at any time.
In the end, it is up to you if you want to take a chance & buy those items or not.

No one forced me to do anything but can't I be a little upset that something I was really hoping would inflate as a lot of people predicted, didn't and now I'm gonna have to wait another whole year till the next winter comes to make some nice profit. -shrug- I'm sorry if I've offended anyone or anything I'm just a bit disappointed.

The important thing here is that you've had the experience of loosing a bit on something and will most likely pay closer attention to the market to avoid it again making you a better investor.

We're not "covering our asses" by saying that, its the truth that they're CS items and you took a risk. INVESTING itself is taking a risk. And you don't have to wait another year, you can sell whenever you feel like you made enough profit. Or you could sell this winter, take a loss, and invest in something else. And Acesuv, haven't we already warned you to chill out?

That only thing I'll say in regards to things being layed out as good investments, they are studied for quite some time before being deemed as such. I would like to point out though that they are a starting point, from the second you buy the item, you take all responsibility as to what is happening with it.

Every time there is a recommendation or even an evaluation of a Cash Shop item as an investment, the caveat is always given that "it may be rereleased at any time which will have a negative effect on its current resale value" or words to that effect.
We're not just typing those words because that sequence of keys feel particularly good under our fingertips. It's a real risk. And if you buy these items, you have accepted that risk and the consequences thereof.
All investing is risk. Sometimes you lose - everyone does eventually. There is no guarantee on anything. There are only better and worse odds.
At least you know it's not personal. Everyone holding Pengys is in the same boat. Hopefully that's not ALL you're holding.

And still I'd say that these items will go up as they're damn popular
I'm new to hoarding and I don't know much about this but I bought all halloween stuff after it ended
this way i got them uber cheap
when you'll sell your 40 slippers next year you'll probably get more profit than any of us
Just saying......
