Steve and Lilith were enjoying a nice quiet dinner.It was Chinese actually, steamed eyeball dumplings wrapped in lotus leaf. The nice fancy stuff, the perfect romantic dinner complete with Jack-o-lanterns. Steve looked deep into Lilith's eyes.
"You look beautiful tonight."
Lilith snorted, opened her mouth to say something, and then closed it. And then opened it. She looked at Steve. "You're kidding me."
"Yes- wait what?!"
At this point, Lilith had gotten up from the seat, now clearly staring at a point beyond Steve. It was one figure actually, standing up in a huff, long locks of hair surprisingly still in tact. She looked around, as if expecting someone else. "WHERE IS HE?"
Steve had just fought five (and a half) avarice demons. He knew trouble when he saw it face to face. The first year stood up, facing the intruder. "I'm right here, and whatever it is, please make it quick."
"I was referring to someone else actually," huffed the figure, "But you'll do. I'll take whatever revenge I can get, and I want more."
Lilith walked over next to Steve, glancing at him slightly concerned. "You're going to have to fight both of us then."
The last of the seven avarice demons, Pride grinned. "Oh, I'll enjoy breaking BOTH your bones. It's been a while, Lilith."

THIS IS AN ELIMINATION BATTLE CONSISTING OF THREE PHASES. ANYONE can participate, but only those gunning for 'Pride'. There will be no silver pumpkin seeds released this game.
- Each phase will last EXACTLY 24 hours. You are only allowed to make ONE post per phase - if you post incorrectly you will be disqualified. At the end of the 24 hours I will make a post signaling the next phase. Please follow its instructions.
- A winner will be chosen from the final survivors of phase 3, good luck ALL contestants.

PHASE 1
- You must choose to "play" either Lilith or Steve. In round one, you will roll a 100-sided dice, and roleplay EITHER OR of those two above characters as they try and attack Pride (with food, props, anything goes).
- Try to be creative with your "attacks", you will be awarded BONUS POINTS for roleplaying out your posts
- Once again only one post per person per phase
- This phase will be open for 24 hours. At the end of the phase, the results will be posted with further instructions!

".... Whaaaat?" Steve's shoulders slumped as he glowered at the avarice demon before him. He wasn't what she was looking for? Well then maybe they could get back to eating and being a cute couple....
Or not. He was so confused. Was this one of Lilith's... companions (his mind cringed at the word), or not?
Oh wait. The long-haired lady demon was attacking. She was pretty, the way her little butt-wings snapped as she ran. Wait! Fight!
Steve snapped up a chopstick with an eyeball stabbed through the end (he was no good at using chopsticks!), and waved it in the face of the demon as little eyeball juices dripped everywhere. It was gross. Really gross.

Steve looked over at the figure and shook his head at her aimless threat. Yet he still wasn't going to go down without a fight. He fumbled about groping for the first object he could find. Anything to distract Pride so that at least Lilith could escape unharmed.
Reaching down he picked up on of his Skitters and threw it at her. Alls it wanted was a hug...a big bloody, gnaw your face off kind of hug.

"Oh sludgesticks!" Steve mumbled under his breath. First off, yet another demon to fight. Hadn't there already been enough of them? And now Lilith wanted to fight too? Couldn't they just have a nice dinner together? Steve was really starting to wonder if she was worth all the trouble.
Well, he supposed he should make the first move instead of standing there cobweb-gathering. He grabbed for the nearest thing to chuck at the new demon (he could figure out what to do with Lilith later). He reached over to the table and grabbed his plate of steamed eyeball dumplings and threw the plate at Pride freaksbie (frisbee) style, hoping that if he didn't at least hurt her then he might at least soil her dress.

Lilith cracked her knuckles. It was her time to start fighting now. Steve had to deal with the past ones all himself and she wanted some action.
She grabbed two of the Jack-o-lanterns that were nears her and threw them both at Pride. Flaming pumpkins FTW!

Tarty b--ch! Ohhh she must think she was all that with her perfect hair and perfect outfit... it just made you want to smack the smug off her face, really.
Lilith reached for the candelabra on the table and hurled it at Pride, wishing her own fury would make the corpse-fat-candles burn that much hotter.
"How about a little Hot wax treatment, you date crashing bimbo!!"

Lilith didn't waste a second of time, bitchslapping Pride as hard as she could. While the avarice demon (and rival in practically everything) noticed her cheek stopped stinging a moment later, she also probably noticed Lilith was dualwielding a lit candlestick and...what appeared to be a Flail of the Spell of Defending and Compassion. Hmmm. Where had that come from? Steve decided to go with the idea that his girlfriend had probably summoned it, ignoring the less savory chances.
(It had actually been hidden in her dress. Along with a Glaive of Worldly Diamond. There's no such thing as being too prepared, right?)
"Pride," the second-year snarled, voice alight with malice, "let's take this outside." Then she flung a lit candlestick at the flame-haired female, grabbed Steve in her empty hand, and got outside as fast as she could. If there was damage to the restaurant, she wasn't paying for it!

Steve had done enough leveling to choke a tonberry. He was strong. He was fit. He was ready.
And for once, he had backup.
He knew exactly how to engage this pompous, overdressed floozy. He set his feet a little wider apart, then fired an accusing finger in her direction. With a rebel yell, he engaged in the deadliest opening attack that came to mind, the comeback.
"Then I guess you're a glutton for punishment. The only thing you need more of with that dress is LESS."
(alright, so maybe it wasn't the best comeback ever)

"Not nearly long enough, old friend/I]," the ice in Lilith's voice was enough to freeze the drinks on several tables nearby. With a most unladylike snarl she shoved Steve out of the line of fire. "Sorry, dear, let me have this pleasure."
With a flick of her wrist Lilith snagged the tablecloth off their table. The dishes barely moved and only then frantic fluttering of the candles marked the movement. A twist of the arm and the cloth wrapped around itself, another flick and CRACK! whiplike it flew across the space between the two of them.
"I'll shred that bodice off your body and the skin as well!" she shrieked!

Steve sighed as he stood up at the table. This whole demon fighting thing was really taking a toll on his personal life. First the battle of the bands, and now dinner with Lilith, he was frankly amazed he got time to take a leak in the john without a demon kicking down the door to claim revenge for his general existence.
"Couldn't you have waited till after dinner? I mean jeeze we where enjoying Chinese and I was going to make some nice garlic bread to snack on when we got back home...." he trailed off lingering on garlic bread just long enough to hear Pride let out a hiss, a series of threats and other semi unlady like remarks about how his 'girlfriend' was garbage. "Hey hey, I know your pride and your feelings got hurt and that it sucks to have for a wounded pride, like it really does." He paused and stared at his chest a moment, sadly no sword of Understanding, Love, or Respect popped out.
"Plan B." Steve muttered as he grabbed a bowel filled with hot dumplings tossing it at Pride before leaping at her for a clearly epic fist punch to the face.
Slow motion was involved, witnesses would testify that in Steve's mind he was totally awesome when he did this.

Lilith had had enough. She finally was allowed to have dinner with Steve after he survived the gamut of avarice demons to get to her. She was the proverbial princess in another castle, and Steve was making her feel wonderful tonight. He didn't even look tired or winded after going through all that trouble, just for her! She would have blushed at that moment had another figure stood up to face them. Fantastic. The final demon had come to face them - Pride. She was impressive and beautiful, but Lilith wouldn't allow her to wreak revenge on them. Not after having such a lovely dinner!
No Jacking way!
"You'll have to get through both of us, brimstone spawn!" Lilith cried, scooping up a handful of spicy General Pow's Chicken and hurdled it in the demon's eyes. The chili peppers alone would be pain and a half, but on top of that, the chicken was coated in a thick pumpkin sauce. Try and get that out of your eyes and hair!

As if Steve hadn't put up with enough recently! At least she was a hot demon right? Hot demons were good at least they were till they decide to start war with you... and now he was going to have to survive yet another demon attack. They were all trying to kill him and it was getting on his nerves a little now.
At least he had Lilith at his side, for some reason this did at least reassure him a little and so his decision was obviously to grab the nearest Jack-O-Lantern and chuck it at the demon, after all if hit on the head you should at least get a reasonable headache which might help them a little.
Of course that wouldn't last now, a demon with a headache, well Steve was sure that would possibly just irritate her some more. So he grabbed the table cloth and rolled it up before waving it above his head like he was some sort of roman gladiator with a whip that would win him the competition! If only that was even slightly possible but he attacked with his table cloth! It was the most useful whip around at the time.

Lilith scowled at the butt-winged demon leering in front of the two of them.
"It has, and you're bringing out drama yet again. The problem with you is that you can't get over yourself... I mean, think about it!"
The girl paused to reveal one of her favorite minipets-- a Lotus Fish. Know how Chinese restaurants often have little ponds full of koi or goldfish? Lilith had slipped her Lotus Fish in there for safe keeping while she dined. At least Greed was good for one thing...
"Really, really think about it..." she continued. "You have wings coming out of your a**. How am I supposed to take you seriously?!"
Lilith motioned for her Lotus Fish to attack!
... But nothing happened.
The girl whirled around to see her minipet scarfing down Steve's entire plate, sounding an awful lot like the Crawlycookie Monster.
"Hey!" shouted Lilith. "Come on, hurry and fight!"
She grabbed her Lotus Fish by the tail and swung it around, flinging the petrified thing at Pride.
