Kakek Api lifted his head before looking back at his siblings. He always felt like when he wanted to see his grandparents or when he wanted to play with his parents they were busy. Well.. not all the time occasionally though. But right now he didn't want to play with his siblings he wanted to play with some one that was more mature. He huffed and looked back, that was another one he didn't want to deal with, he didn't want to deal with his baby sitter either. There was plenty of times where he had times he could spend times with his family but he always seemed to want to when no one was around.
He looked at the baby sitter before shaking his head and turning toward the baby sitter and huffed. He stood up and flicked his hair out of his eyes before wandering toward the front of the den. He waited for the moment for the baby sitter to be distracted before he quickly turned around and started to trot out of the den, going as quickly as he could heading toward some where in the dunes. He wanted to play because playing sounded like fun. Maybe he could run into some one that he wanted to see. There had to had been a male to hand out with. He didn't get along with males that often.
He slowed down as he looked at the watering hole that was the closest to his den. This was making him happy to be able to wander toward the watering hole with out his parents was pretty cool. It was kind of exciting

Kasi'wakia felt like one of an overly large set – a set of thirteen, no less! Her family was huge, and while she loved the fact that normally there was someone available to wrestle with, or play-fight, sometimes the noise and the flaring tempers and the noise – yes, it needed to be mentioned twice, because to Kasi, it was the worst problem that came with a big family – sometimes it all got too much for the young female. Her head was throbbing with a headache, which encouraged her to sneak out from the family den. Her multiple siblings would hide her disappearance from her parents with any luck, and if not, well, she'd deal with that later.
Her paws wobbled in the sand as she moved, still not quite used to the shifting soil beneath her feet, but she refused to tumble to the ground, keeping her head tilted up. She yelped when her paw hit something, which caused her to jump back in surprise. A scorpion, standing out rather starkly in the golden sand, had it's tail high, dangerously presenting the spike which promised death for anything who dared to cross it. Thankfully, Kasi had merely kicked it, before it had raised it's poisonous tail and, though her eyes were wide and her racing, she was otherwise unharmed.
The young cub carefully stepped around the creature, leaving a wide arch so that she was no where near it, and breaking into a run once she was clear. “Never do that again,” she told herself firmly, keeping watch of her feet now, and what was fast approaching. She wasn't really sure where she was now, she thought, frowning as she approached a small watering hole. She'd never seen it before, but she might get to get a drink, before trying to figure her way home.

The dark male moved a little closer to the water's edge playing his front two paws in it before flopping down on his belly and leaning forward again to lap up some of the water. He was glad to be able to lap up some of the water it was delicious and it was a nice way to take a break from all of the others. The water felt nice on his paws too. He was pretty into his relaxing that was until he swore he heard the foot steps of another come his way. He blinked and his ears flicked behind him before he stood up and looked behind him and arched a brow at who was coming his way.
A female was coming his way. He huffed and shook his head a female was coming his way. He didn't like girls. They were all weak, except for mama and grandma... well really any of the females in his family except for his sister, they were weak. He puffed his chest out as he looked at her and then huffed again shaking his head, was she really coming this way? That was stupid, she shouldn't be coming this way, couldn't she see that he was already sitting there. She shouldn't come and bother him. He huffed before digging his claws into the ground.
"Who are you?" He questioned with even more of a huff, what did she want? She probably was trying to get some one's attention, thats all that girls wanted to get. Thats all that they wanted. Or at least thats what he noticed, thats all that his siblings wanted was attention. He huffed again and shook his head. "What are you doing out there. Doesn't your mommy want you home?" You could say that he was a bit of a bully in a way but at the same time he was mostly talk inmost cases, he was good at dueling, but yet at the same time he was good at bullying others too. Or atleast at this age anyway.

As Kasi moved closer to the water's edge, she blinked and narrowed her eyes as she spotted an unfamiliar shape – though thankfully only another cub – perched near the water that she was hoping to drink from. She slowed her pace, until she was walking slowly towards him, careful to take in her surrounding areas. She wasn't afraid of fighting, she knew enough about it to really enjoy getting into a duel but she still liked to know her exits, just in case.
He seemed kind of...aggressive, she mused, stopping not far from him but not too close. She tensed her shoulder, tilting her jaw up and staring at him, as if to let him know she wasn't going to back down just because he was huffing and looking all grumpy and stuff. She wasn't afraid of no male...except maybe her daddy when he got mad, but other than that, no male scared her.
“Who are you?” she retorted, before relenting and adding, “I'm Kasi'wakia.” She scowled a little, at his next few questions. “I go wherever I want,” she said, though it was a lie. Once her mother found out she'd snuck out, she'd probably get in trouble, but he didn't have to know that. “What are you doing out here?” Maybe he was hiding from a bath from his mother or something, she thought, grinning slightly but trying to tilt her face in a way that he wouldn't see her secretly laughing at him.

Kakek rolled her eyes, she was a bit sassy and it annoyed him. He felt like he was talking to his sister, she liked to rub in the fact that she was a few seconds older than him. He really hated that fact but he hated it even more because of her attitude toward it. It made him grumpy and just about every they were together they argued and some times fought. His mother some time would make them sit on other sides of the den. He looked at the lioness and couldn't help but to make a face. He can say that this female was really reminding him of his sister... even though she hadn't even said much.
He flicked his tail around behind him before he answered the female. "I am Kakek Api." He huffed flicking his hair out of his eyes before shaking his head. "I go where I want to!" He growled shaking his head at her. "I'm drinking from the watering hole what does it look like I'm doing here." He hufffed again before sticking his toungue out at her. He wasn't exactly being the friendliest but he didn't care.

Kasi huffed at him, annoyed by his 'I'm better than you' attitude that he seemed to be exuding. Well, he wasn't better than her! No one was better than her, except maybe her mommy and daddy...and maybe a few of her other relatives, but certainly not him! “Does your mother know where you are?” She asked, before strolling down to the watering hole as if he had intruded on her and not the other way around. She wasn't really trying to be rude, but she wouldn't let him act like he was better than her! If anything, she was better than him.
She lowered her head to the water, careful to drink slowly, but keep a close watch on him. She didn't trust him to not try something, like attack her when her back was turned or something else ridiculous. You shouldn't trust other people, she thought to herself, at least not those who weren't family.

In Kakek's mind he was a lot better then many others, despite what they believed. Some times he was a little bit full of himself but other then that he really wasn't that bad, he just liked to look really important in front of others. The ones that he knew wasn't better then him was his mother and father. They were too amazing for him to be better then them that was for sure. Maybe when he was a little older he would be able to be able to be about the same level as them.
He looked over and huffed. "No, but my mom won't mind." He flicked his tail around before pausing for a moment. "Beside it's the nanny's fault." He huffed then shook his head again. Puffing out his chest. Yeah it wasn't his fault it was the nanny's fault. "She was supposed to be keeping track of us." He nodded at the idea then shook his head again. "I'm fine out here by myself." He paused again and made a face. "Beside you're a girl and girls can get hurt by myself." He grumbled quietly.

Kasi lifted her head from where she was lapping the water, peering up at him under lowered lashes. He was awfully arrogant and...puffy, she decided, waching him puff out his chest. She crinkled her nose when he spoke of a nanny. “That's a poor Nanny if she let someone slip away so easily,” she remarked, despite the fact she herself had snuck away from even her mother's view, which she knew she would hear about for ages later. “There are just too many people in my den for one missing cub to go notice,” she said carelessly. One upside of having a lot of siblings, she supposed. No one noticed you were gone. Well, that would change when she was older and taking on some important role in the pride, but she wasn't quite there yet.
She bristled at his comment. “Excuse me?” She said sharply. “I am perfectly capable of taking care of myself out here. I can take care of myself just as well as you can.” How dare he! Just because she was a girl didn't mean she was automatically weakless. What a useless idea. She knew females who were stronger then a lot of males.

Kakek paused again, his chest deflated and he thought before speaking. "Well that too..." His voice trailed before lifting his head and then looked at the lioness once again. "I have a lot of siblings, some times a few of us wander out at a time." He thought about the few times that him and one of his brothers or him and one of his sisters wandered out at the same time and played instead of staying where they were supposed to stay. Who needed to stay where they were supposed to anyway. He had so much more to do rather then stay home.
He shrugged before speaking again, flopping back on his haunches, feeling a little less feisty then he was before. That was until she spoke again, he made a bit of a face and then growled slightly annoyed. "Yeah okay. Girls can't do that kind of stuff." He grumbled before making another face. "You know most of the time girls get hurt quicker then guys do." He then looked at her and nodded. "Your mom would probably get upset if you got hurt."He knew there were many times that one of his sisters wandered away and they would get hurt and his mother would get really annoyed. He wasn't that sure why. Thena gain she got annoyed any time anyone was wandering away. But he got away with it very often.

Kasi eyed the male. So, he had a large family too. He must understand a bit of what she felt then, or maybe he was happy being part of the crowd. She appreciated a large family, but she hated the thought that she might blend in with the crowd. “I have twelve litter mates,” she said, almost competing with him with family size. “Makes disappearing easy sometimes.”
She scowled as he started off about girls not being as good at boys, or rather, that they'd get hurt and run off to mommy quicker then boys would. “That is so not true!” She was quick to deny. “My mom would be upset if any of us got hurt, not just the girls and I can do anything that a boy can do! I'm already a good fighter, “ she huffed. She had practiced with her siblings before, she knew how to fight, or she knew mostly how to fight.

Kakek paused for a moment thinking before speaking he didn't see anything wrong with telling her how many siblings he had, he was pretty much thinking the same thing that she was. He had the same idea about the the way she might know about how he felt when it came to his family. But at the same time he wanted to feel better then her. Boys we're better weren't they? He was pretty sure they were. He paused for a moment before pausing and then looking at her. "I have nine brothers and sisters." He then paused to throw in something else, they we're the only ones in the den though! "Some times we are baby sat at the same time as my cousins from my two aunts." He nodded at the idea, they were both much smaller litter that his aunts had but they added up when all three litters were together.
He then huffed before shaking his head and motioning his paw. "Sure, sure, my sisters think the same thing." He dismissed her that easily before smirking and standing up straight and moving toward the watering hole again, leaning over and lapping up some of the water before pausing and looking back at her, waiting to see what kind of response that she had, but he knew that he was better then her for sure.

Kasi frowned. “Cousins don't count!” She said firmly. She didn't really know much about her extended family yet. There were already too many names to remember within just her siblings, let alone cousins and such. She tilted her head to the side, her grouchy exterior slipping away a bit as she muttered, “does everyone have big families here?” The comment was mostly directed to herself, but was loud enough for him to hear if he was paying attention.
She scowled at his comment, her annoyance rising. He was so...arrogant! And sexist. Saying she was weak just because she was a girl! When he turned back to the watering hole, a smirk fluttered across her face as she dropped into a playful crouch, launching herself at him but aiming for the spot next to him, rather then him. “If you don't believe me, I'll just have to prove I can hold my own.” She raised a paw and batted at him, before leaping away. If this had been a duel, she would have attacked, but it wasn't really. Mostly just her trying to knock some sense into him.

Kakek looked at the female and huffed shaking his head annoyed with what she was saying. "Cousins do too count! I know they count if they're in the same den as us they count," he growled at her shaking his head a few times. He couldn't believe that she was saying that, there was ten of his siblings including himself then there was another five or another three or four some times another eight! It was crazy he couldn't stand having all of those people at one in the den. It was really crazy.
He then thought for a moment, she was right a lot of the families around here were pretty big, with out fail they were big, there really were few that were small. "You're right, there isn't many that are small..." His voice trailed as he thought about it before he spoke again at her growling as she batted at him. "Hey," he snapped his jaws and then moved away from her. "There isn't a point of being like that." He huffed annoyed, he wasn't very happy with her ideas of what to do, he really just wanted her not to do that
"My Dad told me it's not nice to hit girls, so I'm not going to hit you," he murmured quietly. he knew that he could hurt her if he did that so he knew that it'd be best if he didn't do that, if his dad found out he would be in trouble and he didn't want to be in trouble.

Kasi huffed, rolling her eyes. “But they're not directly related to you, they're related through your parents so they don't really count.” To her, that logic was sound. To be honest, she was just trying to make sure he didn't beat her, even in something as simple as how many siblings/relatives they each had. Her twelve siblings beat his nine anyway!
She grinned a little when he said she was right, but soon was distracted by his complaints over her 'attack'. She relaxed her stance from her pounce, a frown coming across her face. “You'd be a rotten soldier then, when you're older,” she announced dryly. “ Afraid to hit a girl!” She shook her head. She couldn't believe he was using the fact she was a girl influence whether they would fight or not. She could hold her own against her brothers and her sisters, didn't matter what gender they were.

Kakek started at the girl then huffed shaking his head. "I won't hit a girl with out a reason." He growled rolling his eyes at her. She was so stupid. How did she not understand that. Why was he hanging out with her again? he wasn't even too sure. He was thinking about just wandering home and sparing with his brothers. That would be much better then anything else. He paused as he was thinking about it. Yeah there were times where he would his his sisters, now that he thought about it. But at the same time there was plenty of times it was because they were starting a fight with him.
He shook the idea off before huffing shaking his head at her and then growling a little bit. "You know," he started to explain in an annoyed tone, "If you're going to be a brat then I'm going to go back home." He nodded standing up straight flicking his tail around behind him nodding at the fact that he was going to walk away from this female if she didn't stop acting bratty. He was really convinced that she was being a brat and that was all to it. He didn't think he could handle something like this. Oh no he wasn't in the mood for it not at all. He had better things that he could do at the moment.
