You lack creativity, feel like you your drawing looks like slop no matter what, or just dont have a pose for a drawing?
I go through this faze quite often. It frusterates me, especially after I finished an amazing drawing then I cant draw for the longest time ever.
I want to try more poses, but am horrible at coming up with my own that I can actually draw XP

Never jsut give up because your first try is horrible ((trust me, my first sketches for my pictures always look horrible XD))
If you don't like a picture, then instead of just throwing it in the garbage, locate the areas that need the most help and fix them on the orriginal ((or if you have a light table, draw over top of it)) Once you have the major problems worked out, you can begin perfecting it from there :]
When trying to think of a pose, imagine whatever person you are drawing and try to think fo what they might do on a daily basis. For example, if your character likes reading, you could draw them curled up in a comfy chairm reading in front of a fire.
The best thing to remember when stuck, is to have fun! frustration only clogs those creative rivers 3nodding
((and yes, I have these moments alot XD I was having one a couple of hours ago accually when I drew out a pose and the head looked horrible... I'm planning on fixing it tomorow morning after looking at it with fresh eyes))

I dont know, for me I just cant fix my pictures sometimes... I usually at this point erase it completley and try again, or I forget what pose I wanted to do in the first place sweatdrop
Usually it lasts maybe a few days for me. Eventually I plan on doing fan art from a game and anime called Tales of the Abyss XD

I usually put it away for a while and doodle some quick random sketches. Sometimes what you need to do is go away from the drawing you were doing and work on it after you've cleared you mind/had fun :3
There're only two things you'll do after you've come back to the drawing; either:
1: Continue to improve and complete the drawing; or 2: Put it in a folder and forget about it.
I tend to do the second one most the times. However, when I look through my folders I get to see an incomplete piece of work and have the desire to finish it (this is after days, weeks, months and maybe even years of folder neglect XD)
But the best way to get out of an art slump is by drawing loose sketches without details. Something that you can enjoy. No rules whatsoever. And they don't have to be on a normal piece of paper or a software. It could be a marker on a post-it note, a whiteboard drawing, paint on cardboard, pen on masking tape biggrin By being playful and creative with your medium you can actually unlock or trigger a happy response in your brain >w<
Hope this helps! biggrin
