After their last outing had ended up rather exciting, more so then either of the pair were used to, Kiyoshi decided that the next time around that they were going to go somewhere more quiet and laid back. He was sure that if they went on a nature walk that it would be far less likely that they would run into any conventions unless they had a Forest Convention? He supposed that it was all together possible, wasn't it? He just hope that wouldn't be the case. He was happy with meeting a few people but he would prefer the next meeting to be one that was on a far smaller scale then when he and Tatsuo got lost in a crowd at a Pokemon Convention a short time ago.

"What do you think? Its quite nice." Kiyoshi was saying, the weather was a little colder then he would like but so long as it didn't snow he would be alright. Kiyoshi had a slight fear of snow and as such would be unlikely to go outside on a walk like this if the weather called for snow. For now though things were alright.

Looking around the area with wide green eyes the boy gave a slow nod of his head, "Its... nice." He murmured, he wasn't sure which he preferred, the quiet of this place or the somewhat hectic place they were last time. It was nice either way, so long as his Daddy was there he was happy he thought to himself before he lifted both of his hands up to take hold of one of Kiyoshi's larger hands. Today the boy was wearing clothing that fit him, jeans and a sweater, a green coat over the top of it, boots and a hat to keep his ears warm. It wasn't quite cold enough to need a scarf or mittens yet but they had bought them for when the weather did get bad.

Kiyoshi moved along one more, leading the way down the path once more, curious to see what they might find on their walk.

Tatsuo seemed to be quite oblivious to the fact that someone was out there, instead happy to look around himself, to watch the different birds that were nearby as well as the way a few leaves were being blown through the air. The idea that someone might be following them was the last thing on the boy's mind.

Kiyoshi on the other hand seemed to sense that something was a little off at the moment, likely all of his training at the archery range to be one with the world around him. He tried his best to remain in a calm and tranquil state when possible and the calm around around them seemed to promote that feeling within the white haired male. He couldn't say exactly what was out there or what that thing was up to, he just knew that there was someone or something nearby. At the same time the presence didn't seem hostile since the air around them remained calm. As such he didn't show any signs of worry as they continued to walk along, "There seem to be a lot of birds around, they must be the ones that don't migrate." He told his son.

Tatsuo looked up at his Daddy, eyes wide, "Migrate...?" He asked, wondering what that meant.

"Its when they fly to warmer weather for the Winter." The milk Pocky boy explained, getting a nod of his son who looked toward the birds that were still here instead of joining their fellow avian, "I would like to Migrate." He said after a moment of thought, it would be rather nice to go and stay somewhere warm instead of dealing with the cold he thought to himself, giving a bit of a smile at the thought.

Kiyoshi could only chuckle and nod in agreement, that would be rather nice, wouldn't it?

The sound that escaped from Tatsuo as he got pounced and knocked to the ground was something akin to a squawk that a bird might make when startled. The sound was one that made Kiyoshi laugh though he lifted a hand up to his mouth in an attempt at smothering the sound, not wanting to insult his son who looked rather spooked until he saw that the one that had pounced on him wasn't anything scary... just another boy his age, not some sort of wolf or bear or any other sort of scary thing that predator that prowled the nature trail.

Tatsuo starred at the other boy who was giggling over what he'd just done with wide eyes and then gave a shaky sigh. At least he seemed nice... nothing scary at all... just someone who seemed to like games, "A-Ahh... h-hello..." Tatsuo gasped out when he was able to get his voice to work for him again, just barely but at least it was something... better then nothing and actually pretty good for him given that he was rather shy and had a hard time with those he'd just met.

Tatsuo took a step closer to his Daddy, hands reaching up so that he could cling to him for a moment as he starred at Mikael before he gave him a bit of a smile, slightly weak, but he was trying, "Mikael...? M-My name is Tatsuo." He said, drawing in a deep breath to help in soothing his nerves. He wasn't as scared as e had been when the other boy first pounced him, he just had to get his reactions to that fear under control. He lifted his gaze for a moment to look at his Daddy, "His name is Kiyoshi." A name that other people used, only Tatsuo seemed allowed to use the special 'Daddy' name with him.

The white haired man gave Mikael a smile and a nod, "Its nice to meet you, Mikael." He said to him, surprised and pleased to see that his son was doing his very best to talk with the boy though he knew he was quite shy.

Looking around for a moment Tatsuo's eyes went back to the other boy once more, "A-Are you here alone?" He asked, thinking that if he were walking in the woods alone that he must be extremely brave unlike Tatsuo himself who was a little bit of a wimp at the moment though slowly getting better. Still the idea of going anywhere with his Daddy to hold onto was very scary to him. He was more then a little impressed that Mikael was running around on his own.

At mention of him being alone Kiyoshi felt his protective instincts kicking in, wondering if the boy was alone... and if so where his parents were and if he should have the boy walk with them so that he would remain safe...

Kiyoshi gave him a long look, not seeming to be happy at all with knowing that someone who looked to be the same age as his son as all alone even if he were well trained, "Well, if you would like, you can join us on our walk. It will be far more interesting for you to travel with friends then alone." He offered, hoping that the boy would take him up on his offer since it would mean that he could look after him. While he knew that he couldn't look after everyone, couldn't protect everyone, it didn't mean that he couldn't at least try. It was just what he wanted to do with his time was all...

Tatsuo looked up at his Daddy for a moment then looked over at Mikael, giving him a shy sort of smile, "It would be nice for you to walk with us." He said, while the boy was a bit more energetic then Tatsuo himself the boy couldn't help but to like it, wishing that he could be so enthusiastic and brave about stuff.

Kiyoshi was glad to hear that the boy was going to join them for the walk, it would make him feel better as he knew he would feel quite guilty if he were to leave the boy behind on his own in such a place, "Alright, lets walk then." He said before giving a smile, "I think that it will be fun, there is a nice nature trail according to the map we got. We are going to walk around it, see if we can spot any animals out today." He explained to the boy.

Tatsuo was quite excited over that, rather loving animals himself, wanting to get to see more of them. He had one at home that was waiting for him, a slightly spoiled one, that he didn't want to bring out in the cold since she seemed to dislike it greatly, "I hope we get to see some pretty animals." He said in a hushed but excited tone of voice.

Tatsuo's eyes got a little wide when there was mention of dangerous animals among those that lived here along the nature trail and he couldn't help but to look a little nervous at the idea, "They... they won't come after us, will they?" He asked in a quite manner, looking between both Kiyoshi and Mikael for a response when it came to whether or not they were in danger... the idea was one that made his heart race almost painfully in his chest just thinking about it. He didn't want to get eaten by a bear or anything... at least Mikael said that he would protect him and he knew that his Dad would do the same... that he would be doubly protected, right? He sure hoped so...

Kiyoshi looked down at his son for a long moment before smiling, "I am sure that it will be alright, nothing for anyone to fear." He said as they continued to walk along. Thus far they only seen an occasional bird and a couple of squirrels so he wasn't really to terribly worried about dangerous animals... though now that they had been mentioned and their presence made known to Tatsuo he knew that they couldn't ignore the fact that they might be out there completely, "We will stay on the trail, keep our eyes open, and I am sure we will be fine." He said, patting his son gently on the head in a manner that helped to sooth the green eyed boy's nerves.

Once he was relaxed again the boy's attention was once more on his new friend, giving him a happy smile as the walk continued.

"I... I sure hope your right." He murmured, looking around a bit more as though he were certain something large with sharp teeth and claws was going to just appear there at any moment... but thus far, nothing. It made him give a bit of a smile and he relaxed a bit, "I am... glad, I would prefer it just be us." He told Mikhael and his Daddy in a quiet whisper. Better then two of them instead of anything more, especially anything more that might have sharp, scary teeth...

As they continued along, and nothing seemed to show any interest in him, Tatsuo started to relax that much more, even daring to move a little bit ahead of Kiyoshi to look at things that caught his eye. There was a pretty rock that he picked up to inspect and pocketed it when it seemed to glitter, a rather interesting looking plant that seemed to be covered in thorns but seemed to be hinting at having berries on it in the future, and a bird that was a bright color and went hopping across the path in front of them. It was only when he saw the bird, and saw how small and unassuming it, that he was finally convinced that it was safe.

All the while Kiyoshi merely watched the pair, smiling away. So long as they were in his sights, and his son was content, then he was happy.
