Well Pny's thread and current events for me got me thinking (plus I didn't wanna just make a thread just for my good news.. We should have a thread specifically for members returning with good news and for good news in general involving our lives. Hence, the birth of this thread.
So, me first of course.
About a month or so ago I found out I got into Naval Flight School, woot! I leave about April for that. I graduate and commission into the United States Navy on December 19th. Mark your Calendars! Finally, I got a girlfriend. I really like this one.
So, your turn people.

Ummm... well, I have a girlfriend now. We've been together ummm... almost 3 months now I think?
I've received my acceptance letters from two of the three colleges I applied to, but I think I'm going to stay in state because of money and... other vague stuff. I'll run away to live on the other side of the country when I get to grad school, yeah?
Other good news/life updates? Dentistry is one of those evils that helps you, but is still evil. Blech >.o

I've been really busy working and managing a budget. Living with my boyfriend is wonderful whee He was just laid off from his job, but I'm sure he'll find something else quickly.

I got a raise and a promotion. I have an awesome boyfriend. My potential in-laws are actually decent. My mother is doing better despite her illness.

I have a full time job until the end of April so all is good on the money front. I'm getting my hair done a week from today and I'm thinking of getting red foils instead of the usual blonde. Otherwise life is the same as ever.

RAWR STRESS!!!!
Between school, kids, GTR, home bullshit, work, and the bullshit of other asshats waltzing into my house without knocking or ringing the ******** doorbell, I feel like I'm failing at everything. I can see that I'm not failing at school, but god damn everything is due again tests are jumping up all the time. There's also my personal health.... which I've been neglecting.
Holiday time needs to come now before something snaps in me, be it my mental state or health.

I have a practically full-time job and have been, mostly with ease, able to support myself since moving out of home 4 months ago?

I bought some buckyballs yesterday, as seen in this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-JpM4A4657k but then lost 9 of them less than 24 hours later. They weren't cheap, so now I'm upset. Now instead of doing homework and crazy amounts of studying, I'm frantically searching the house for them. Also, I got a knock on the door today from a stranger saying that as of today he just bought my apartment. I don't like just being traded away on a whim like that. Not cool. Nothing else to report. Over and out. p.s. Hello everybody. It's been a while. Over and out. P.S. Hold it! I found those balls! Thank god! Now I can go back to my stressful life of doing assignments and worrying about more important things like applying to grad school and getting a job and finding the money to pay for rent and buy food and clothes. Cause that's just the stressful point of my life that I'm at right now. FML. No wait, I have no reason to be stressed... I have buckyballs! ...Yay!
