How long has it been raining? Too long...
She had been awoken from her nap this afternoon by a few pesky drops of water landing on her face. It was easy to ignore at first, until the light sprinkle turned into... this.
The crossbreed lay at the edge of the cliff, her front legs crossed letting her hooves hang over the side. Her head was set on top of her front legs, the short white locks of her mane covering her closed eyes. The only thing that covered her face from getting wet was one of her wings, draped across the top of her body. The rain dripped down the webbing, landing on the ground beside her.
Days like this were....
wet. Kiera didn't like wet. While it felt good in the morning, when her scales were all nice and clean, it wasn't worth the constant damp feeling during the drizzle. I should probably find a better place to lay, She thought, opening her golden eyes and moving her wing to allow the rain to fall upon her face. Looking up to the grey sky, Kiera sighed before making her way onto her feet. Glancing around at her surroundings, she spotted a tall tree not too far away. A good place to stay until it stopped raining.
