I have not talked to My Documents, or any of the Mod's for this guild about making this topic, but I feel that it is necessary and can always be modified to make them happy with it. The following are a set of guidelines about posting and asking for help in this guild. On top of that, consider this a demo, as this is my first one ever. lol

Request. When you want to learn something new, don't ask someone to teach you. If they offer to teach you, then that is a different matter, don't ask for it. Like every other career in this new world, nothing is easily learned. Programming, such as building databases, or learning graphics design for your Web pages take time and practice and you need plenty of experience before you can begin teaching others what you have learned and practiced. Those are what tutorials are for. However, it is okay to request a tutorial, that way everyone with any knowledge at all with that topic can take part in its production and everyone can benefit from it as well. whee

Also, when you ask for help, it really helps when you show your appreciation for those who ask you for help. "A simple 'thank you' goes a long way."

Participate You should feel free to participate in any topic you wish.Don't be afraid to ask a question like, "how do you do that?" "How do I know that my web hosts offers MySQL or a similar program" "How do you do/use such and such?" This guild is for everyone and like any other community, can not function if we do not share knowledge and yet we can not share knowledge appropriately if you don't ask questions so that you can better understand. It's easy for use to forget to describe, or define the basics, that's why asking questions is crucial. Just like when you are in the classroom at school, or in a college.

If you want to make a tutorial, go for it! Even if you can't do it yourself. If you try, you'll be challenging yourself and you'll improve just by doing that alone. That's because you realize exactly what you know and what you still need to work on. Members can always post solutions to problems or errors in your tutorial as well and everybody makes mistakes, so don't let that hold you back. Don't be another person who sits back and observes everything. Take part in the community and make some friends!

Attitude Keeping and maintaining a positive attitude is essential to learning something new, or even expanding your knowledge in order to meet a goal or a objective you have. A negative person tends to put others down. that backfires more than they seem to realize. Not only does it weaken the vary community that person is a part of, but it keeps that person from learning as well. Hence, all they hurt is themselves, as those who were offended find a different community to be a part of and to learn from. Keeping a positive attitude makes others more willing to aid you in your problems, because they know that you are really serious.

Instead of being a if thinker, be a how thinker. What that means is that the if thinking kind of things like this. If she didn't frame me... Or. If he hadn't stole $5,000 from me... If thinkers give up. They look at the negatives, which only aggravates them more until they give up. A how thinker thinks like this. How can I... How do I... Or What if I do this... Instead of looking at all of the negatives, they look at all of the positives, allowing them to realize what is still possible and allows them to accomplish more in life. How thinkers accomplish much more than if thinkers. This can be useful in every aspect of life. Use it when you are learning something new, building a business, or are trying to help someone.

Please feel free to post replies with your feedback or suggestions.
