Titor is a liar. Albeit a good one, but a liar all the same. For some time now I have been lurking, first on Art's BB board, then on this board. I have reviewed the IRC logs and the other websites where "John Titor" has posted.
Many have postulated on the motives of "John" and his posts- why would anyone go to such lengths to create a fabricated story of such complexity? How could one man keep such a story straight?
Darby and others have pointed out the few inconsitencies that exsist within the various posts- others have pointed out Titor's soft dodging of hard questions (or out and out ignoring of the question) as proof that he is being dishonest in his story.
Through all of this endless debate, there has been no REAL evidence that confirms, or dis-proves John's story. Accusations, assumptions, inference, mystrey, intrigue, a vague feeling of disquiet or a sense that it 'feels' right- that is all that we have.
So you ask, how can I label John Titor, time traveller from 2036- from a war ravaged america that suffered a civil war in 2005 and a nuclear war in 2012? A time traveller interested in 'this time' because it is the calm before the storm?

John Titor based his intricate world on a fantasy Role Playing Game. He played as a character FROM this fantasy world. The reason he was able to keep such an intricate world straight, was because the history was made for him- he need only refer to this 'module' for refrence.
The RPG game this is based on is called GURPS- it has modules based on time travel and alternate dimensions (sound familiar?) The website I refrenced has a RPG based on a near future strikeingly reminiscinet of Titor's future (remember the escalating conflicts like Waco?) (remember the conflict between city vs. county?) (remember a reconstituted Russia that nukes the USA and China and Europe?)
All of it is detailed in a RPG module that was created in 1996!
This module was altered from another module- in other words, there are other stories- any of which could have been used to create this fantasy world that has sucked you all in.
I'm sorry I am the one to burst the bubble, and I have struggled with wether or not it is right to take such a intricate fantasy away from people (does anybody ever really want to be the one to tell the child that there is no Santa Claus?)- but I believe that the truth is more important in this instance.
John Titor is a liar. His world is a lie. His evidence is fabricated to build credibility for a character he probably played once in a RPG game- people play dress up (SCA, Civil War recreation, etc.) John titor was doing the same thing- but he used you.
John Titor, whoever you arem wherever you are- GAME OVER.

Keeb...you're basically calling both, Haj and Jess liars with those websites. Don't get caught up in this stupid bull s**t where everyone is like "OOOOOOOHHHHH!!! NO HE'S A FAKE-ZORZ!!!" crap. We have enough proof the guy is either telling the truth as a time traveler, or he's just psychic. Jess met the guy and he predicted what would happen between us and claims he's a "friend of the family" in the future. Also, Haj's divinations. Those two things right there are enough proof for me. These ******** scientist-wannabes can kiss my ******** a** for all I care. They're full of s**t and you know it. End of story.

I dont believe that time travel is possible but it might be...somehow later on. And about you and Jess...were you there when he did make the prediction or whatever you want to call it?

No Im not saying that Jess was lying to you but more like...acting on it. Im not implecating anything but maybe it was more like she was following on that line. Having to know that its your future..well would you change it if you knew whats going on later on? In life, theres a million of possibilities you could do and each choice makes another turning point. Each choice has an effect on other people in some way, causing more choices to be made. If Jess wasn't going to go out with you, what would happen? And please remember that Im not pointing fingers, I just want to get this straighten out.

I'm just looking at the other side of the story, because I'm biasing all the research I'm doing as true when I don't know. I'm not saying that Jess lied, he could very well have visited her and did! I'm not saying Haj lied, I'm sure he has seen it. I'm just questioning the motives of this John Titor guy because I don't want him ******** yours and Jess's life up. I told you I was behind you on this. I wasn't lying.

I'm not trying to go against you Lonewolf but Lion has a point here. Some people say things that they don't think have any meaning but has a "hidden" meaning even they didn't catch. Some people can just read others good. There is a class on how to tell what is happening to someone in life just by looking at their face. It's called Face Reading.

I'm just doing research and have plenty of reasons for the prophecies, but very little against. To have an unbiased theory, I need to look at both. I was up late and decided to post my findings here. I am in no way saying that these things are true or not.

And you're just such a pro at that, right? Whatever. I believe what I feel is right. And right now, I believe everything Jess tells me. I know that sounds very naive, but I've come to learn that she is just like me...and like me, she wouldn't lie to the one she loves. But I do see your point Lion. It's acknowledged, but not expected.

lalalalala........ wow not the first time i've been called a liar. babes. dont worry about it. im not even going to bother to make ppl believe me or you. i personally dont see the point. let them believe what they want. its called free will hun. n im not saying i DID meet someone from the future. and im not saying i didnt. im saying i met a guy named john titor that told me he was from the future. wether its true or not. we have yet to find out. but then i dont remember much of the meeting. i was like... 11. i just thought it was cool. but yea. not telling anyone to believe he is real. and im not telling ppl not to believe. i just think its stupid to argue about it

I dont think anyone is calling you a liar but the truth is much as important as the future itself. Without truth, where's the past?present?future? With lies and deceit, the future is endangered of becoming a lie itself....ok I feel like an old man now. sweatdrop Too many wise sayings for a 14 year old. sweatdrop
