I exist here because I was searching for an old SNES game and this popped up. Been here for a while. I found this guild by chance two years ago and got promoted 'cause I'm awesome. Now I'm the guild's Unofficial Official Grammar Nazi. I edit most of the stuff you see in the guild. :]
Like I said, I'm the Grammar Nazi for the guild. Why? Because I wanted to be and everyone else was like, "Okayfine." Also, I am a female, so don't be going "That guy Willowed" or "he" or "man" or "you" to me. I TAKE OFFENSE! :D
I live in the here-and-now, unlike some of my co-crew. Some are still in the past. It's rather sad. Also, I try to get on daily, or at least three times a week. So you should check the crew list for online ones. If I'm on, chances are you can talk to me! I'm like a celebrity around here, but only 'cause I say so.
I may pretty this up further in the future if I feel like it.

I'm an awesome person that you need to get to know. I'll be blunt about lots of things and piss you off a couple times, but otherwise I'll be like an old cat that just is lazy as hell and wants to be petted. :3
I am in love with post-apocalyptic roleplays and science-fiction plots. I am wonderfully creative in fantasy and make my characters real in more realistic roles. I will typically open myself to any spot you have for me and make it my own while trying desperately to keep your original intentions alive. I'm not very good at running roleplays because I always have the story made in my head, and I want you to follow it but you don't and I get mad but I can't say anything about it so I don't and this is a very long run-on sentence that I will end now.

I typically play male roles because the female ones are almost always outnumbering the males, and I like evenness. I have an MSN that I rarely go to; if you want to chat really badly, I can give it to you or you can make a chat on one of those nifty sites. Or even with GIM, if that still exists. ❧ My username is windy-b e l l s_ (Duh.) It's a combination of my nickname on Gaia, and one of my nicknames in RL. I'm lazy and copy/pasted this out of my role-play search thread because even though Willi set up an awesome format for us, I'm to lazy to type s**t out =P You can call me Windy, or Bells. Though, generally most people call me Windy. I've been on Gaia since '05 and I can't seem to quit it. I'm a total art whore, and I would totally sell my soul for some Prodigy Bombay artz. I'm nineteen years old, am majoring in Creative Writing, though after this incredibley rough year, I'm taking time off of college and getting out of this country ;D With any luck, I'll be leaving with Kat for Ireland sometime at the end of June. We'll see how that goes though.
❧ I have a myriad of characters. Most female. Some male. A couple of them are similar in personalities, however, they do have differences that makes them quite unique. For instance, my ocs Danica and Annabelle are both promiscuous, flirtatious, and playful. However, Danica is colder, and less naïve. They're both tough, and are willing to fight for what they want, but Annabelle is kinder, less selfish, and more charismatic than Danica. Danica is less hotheaded and competitive than Anna, but she is by far more vindictive. It's harder to earn her trust, and she is definitely more harsh than Annabelle Lee. I put as much detail into my characters as possible to make them believable and human. Certainly, they are as such to me and I can only hope others agree with me. I try to give them strengths and weaknesses, and to give them limitations. It's easy to make your character all powerful and good at everything, but it's difficult to make them human.
❧ I wish I had a broader vocabulary, and I try my best to expand upon it every day. Big words are sexy, and so are those who use them ;D My vocabulary likely won't show if I'm rushed to get a post up, or if I have not looked over a post before getting it up. My thesaurus is my baby.
❧ My grammar is more of an intuitive thing than a learned skill. I do not have perfect grammar, and I have a tendency to over use commas. Ask Willi ;D I generally do not proof every post before getting it up. If you're a total grammar nazi, it will likely annoy you (Sorry Willibby ^^;; ). But hey, I'm an author. I'm majoring in creative writing – Not teaching. I'll have an editor to catch all my horrid mistakes for me. >D
❧ I like to put a lot of little detail into each sentence. I like for the sentences to sound almost lyrical. I try my best to paint each paragraph like a picture. I try to weave pretty scenes together with whimsical words, and all that good stuff. With any luck, this comes across as wonderfully as I would like and those that read my work find it enjoyable and different. Though, I know I need a lot of work, and as an aspiring author I'm surely not the best. But hey, I'm a damn good role-playing partner. ;D
❧ I don't do most fanfiction. At all. Ever. (There are very few exceptions to this rule.)
❧ As a person, I suppose I'm rather easy to get along with :]] I like to laugh, I like to smile. I'm into all kinds of music, and I can get along with just about anybody.If you want to know anything else about yours truly, just ask.

As it seems I have to be at the very peak of exhaustion to have the drive or inspiration to write I will create this introduction immediately before bed.
My Gaia name is Vincent W Sinnet, initially a name for a character I don't use any more. I am not a huge fan of the name but I picked the name way back when and I'm not changing it to avoid the same confusion I get when people around me start changing their god damn names for no reason.
My real name is Thorin, it's much cooler. I live in Oregon.
I joined Gaia long enough ago that I don't remember the date, so it very well could have been a few months ago. That said I think it's been more like years. I joined it because I was really into the whole Roleplay scene on the nets and this place came up as a place to do it in. I really only then started honing the craft and getting better at it around here. I did some Roleplays with Windy and Kat and pestered them until they let me join the guild. Then I did.
I can safely and arrogantly say that I am one of the most active members in the guild. It is more than likely that when you have one roleplay up, I have three. It's not because of a quality over quantity business standpoint, the simple fact is that I have the time and the resources that most of you don't. I do have a job, but I'm not at it every waking moment of my life, if some roleplayin's gots ta be doin', then I be tha one ta do it.
Most of the time I don't bother with pretty coding and graphics in my roleplays, the words speak for themselves and I'm too impatient to spend all that time dreaming up aesthetic charm. The only time I'm not fully invested here, is when I'm invested in video games, which can be often. It cannot be helped, but it is likely that my activity will still be great.
After spending several years working retail I have grown very bitter towards people. I am normally easy going, but put in this position of authority I will not tolerate any shenanigans. The rules are simple and easy so any tomfoolery outside of the set limits will be a clash of harsh words and your sweet delectable tears.
That aside if you can prove to me you aren't a moron then we will get along great, it is likely that won't be the case due to a strict recruitment regimen. But who knows.

For some reason, the computer I'm on is making everything on gaia obnoxiously small....it kind of hurts my eyes trying to read all the tiny text. And it's even weirder, because the computer I'm on hasn't done this before.....
ANYWAY....
I'm ScorpionsApprentice....most people call me Scorpi or some version of it. I have a real name that only a few people know, and I'd kind of prefer to keep it that way. No offense kiddos, just not something I care to share at the moment. If you talk to me in the guild and get to know me better, I'll probably tell you my real name, but for now, lets just keep it at Scorp (or whatever version of it you care to call me).
Where am I? Well, I'm on a computer of course! rolleyes I'm in America. About as specific as I'll get lmao. Quite frankly, I'd rather be in some mystical land where witchcraft and mythical creatures (especially dragons) are commonplace, adventure is the norm, and everyone carries a sword and their super special awesome abilities. Fantasy and Sci Fi are my ABSOLUTE favorite role plays, and I tend to live in the clouds/my head a lot of the time. I'm a frequent daydreamer, hence why you can usually find me lurking on Gaia. I practically live here since it gives me my insatiable need for creativity and roleplaying.
Lets see...I used to go on this Lord of the Rings chat forum (as well as Buffy and Harry Potter chat sites) and in one of them, someone told me about gaia. Once I made my account and started getting the hang of it, I became hooked. I've been here for 6 years now (yikes....long time...kinda feel old). I met Windy in an RP we used to be a part of a longggg time ago; we kept in touch, and eventually, I was invited to the original guild. I can also safely say that I'm one of the most active members in the guild, and added to my impecable improvement in writing/RPing (no doubt thanks to my fellow crew members and the old guild), eventually I was promoted to a crew member. That's why I'm here, and that's why I'm a crew member. So RESPECT y'all! ....yeah jk rofl but seriously stare
Well, I'd say I'm a human, unfortunately. I tend to not like humans. I'd much rather be an elf (Lord of the Rings version), vampire (Vampire Diaries version), witch (Harry Potter version), or something to that effect....having a daemon would be pretty sweet as well (Golden Compass anyone?). Or maybe a psychic (like from Firefly). As I stated before...I'm a HUGE Fantasy/SciFi nut....most things I see in those genres I absolutely love and would rather be a part of. Regardless, I'm very happy with my life and try not to dwell on absurd impossibles. In any case, to add to my "whatness", I'm a 21 year old female who loves to read, write, go horseback riding, and chill with my awesome friends and even more amazing boyfriend heart I actually smell like him right now because I'm wearing his clothes :swoons: He smells so good whee
My goodness, wouldn't it be odd if I was in the past and writing to you guys from it? Lawl. So yeah, I try to live in the present because dwelling on the past is useless and attempting to predict the future is pointless. There's no telling where you'll end up based off where you came from. Seriously. Unfortunately, the past does creep up into my mind a lot, and I do catch myself daydreaming about what is to come. I try to limit these occurrences however. The future used to scare me (not so much anymore). My present is as perfect as it could ever be. I have a great family, a good job, school is going wonderfully, and my boyfriend is the most amazing person I have ever met. I couldn't be happier, so I'm not looking to change it any time soon.
As I said, I couldn't be happier biggrin I must say, it's a very nice change of pace (I used to be very depressed/angry/cynical. I'm still a bit cynical, but my happiness overrides such pessimism). So I'm well. I hope you are all well as well!

I have been a member here on gaia since 2005, and I've been hooked ever since. I actually learned about this site from a friend I met while role playing on Neopets (give me a break, I was twelve.) I'm eighteen years old, and I live in an itsy bitsy town that you've probably never heard of, or never will in the quaint state of Minnesota. I graduated high school last May with honors and I took one year off before starting college. Hopefully this summer I'll be in Ireland with Windy as we've planned.
»»» I'm not the most active member in the guild, though I do try to be. Life keeps me pretty busy, but I'm on here as much as I can possibly be. Writing is after all my greatest passion, and I love doing it more than anything. But just because I can't post as often as the others, I do try to bring as much to the table as I can. I can create interesting and dynamic characters, and I'm pretty proud of my plots. I met Windy probably about three-four years ago. Not exactly sure what year. I met her in the forums and joined one of her roleplays. After nervously applying for a role and becoming accepted, I started posting in the Ooc. She and I started talking and we've pretty much been best friends ever since. I was in most of her role plays, and we even created some together. I was invited to the guild and eventually promoted. And that's how I got here. ;D

I love making posts pretty and appealing to the eye and I tend to put a lot of work into my formats and coding. I'm not so good with graphics, but luckily Windy is amazing at them. ;D I'm love searching for pictures of new characters and that's usually how I come up with them. I tend to find the picture before I can make the character. I don't know why I do it that way, but it works for me. My characters are unique and all have a little piece of me somewhere in them. Some are similar, and some are totally opposite of one another. But most of them tend to be pretty different. I love creating characters that make them totally unique from others. And I guess I'm pretty good at it.
»»» Like Windy, I'm not into fan fictions at all. I don't really know why, but I just don't do them. I don't enjoy them. So I stray away from them. Otherwise I'm not too picky on what I do. I love fantasy, and romance of course. I also adore horror, gore, and insanity mixed in with roleplays. Anything with an interesting plot that can captivate me is good with me though.
»»» I suppose I'm generally a pretty nice person. I don't judge people, and I love getting to know new people. It's not very often that you'll find me being mean to someone. It's just not who I am I suppose. If you've got a problem I'll listen and try to help, and probably drown you in a thousand funny stories. I'm random, I love to laugh, smile, and make other people do so as well. My train of thought gets lost easily and I'm distracted just as easily. I make random connections, and sometimes I don't even make sense with where I'm going in a conversation. But people seem to enjoy my random thoughts and habits so I guess it works to my advantage. ♫♪♫♪ Heya guys. I'm [DarthTaco], but most people call me Taco. Or, in Windi's case, Darthy. Either or is fine with me. Call me what you wish. I'm twenty years old (soon to be twenty-one!), and I graduated with honors way back in 2008. I've done a little college, but lack of money has ended that. I live in some dinky little town in Oregon that no one really cares about, and I would probably be content to stay here the rest of my life--I don't like moving about. I've already done more than enough moving to last me a lifetime. Sadly, there will probably be many more moves in my future, but I do hope to be able to find an apartment or home that I can keep a long time.
♫♪♫♪ I first met the gang several years back when I just happened to join a roleplay in Barton Town. It didn't get very far, but Windi remembered me, and seemed to like me enough to extend an invitation to her guild. I'd never been in a guild before--didn't even know what to do in one--but I joined up anyway, because I was excited to finally find some literate roleplayers who enjoyed the kind of stuff I did. And I've been here ever since. My guild/gaia activity was pretty steady the past few years, but it's been slowing down lately because daily life has been kicking my arse hard. There's a lot of stuff going down and I've had to deal with that rather than roleplay. However, I am not willing to give up what I enjoy, or the people who's company I enjoy. I'm still here, dammit!
♫♪♫♪ I enjoy fantasy/sci-fi stories and roleplays the best, although as long as a story catches my interest, I'll read/rp it. I predominantly make female characters, although I have quite a few male ones that are close to my heart. I try my hardest to do long posts, although I've noticed that I'm good at getting my point across in just a few sentences, and tend not to embellish a lot. Perhaps because some of my characters don't have the extensive vocabulary I do, and it would be really weird if they started chatting about ultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis, you know? However, I feel inadequate because a lot of my posts are shorter compared to the long, gorgeous ones made by people like Kat, Windi, and Vincent. Still, I keep trying, and I know that I've improved over these past years. Both in quality and quantity. I just hope that I'm not becoming a disappointment. :/
♫♪♫♪ Like many of the other members, I am in the process of writing my own book(s), and hopefully they'll be finished and published someday. I'm also a singer and artist, and won a scholarship for singing when I was still in school. The money from that ran dry, but I still continue to sing wherever I go. :]
