As usual, Senri was coming home late. Although to be fair, you couldn't exactly blame his job as Senri himself for staying out late.
"She'll probably kill me tomorrow." Senri scratched his head carelessly. Although his lack of concern was a bit worrisome, considering that he was the person responsible. His old childhood friend was sleeping over, and had probably stayed awake waiting for him to come home. But by now, she would be sleeping. And tomorrow, he'd recieve a lecture that would undoubtedly be long and tedious. Oh, how fun~ Senri flipped open his cell phone. No matter how he looked at it, he still wouldn't come home on time. Since he was late anyways, he supposed that it didn't matter what time he came home.
The rustling in an alleyway behind him caught his attention. Senri looked at it with a mild curiosity. Normally, activity in an alleyway meant several things. One option came to mind that Senri was becoming increasingly familiar with.
--
Already henshined up, he was sitting on one of the gates atop the rooftops above the alleyway, catching a clear view of the events happening below. "I don't suppose we can be good children, now can we?" His voice rung clearly in the silence of the night, Sailor Zephyr stared at the shows with a slightly amused look but made no move to engage a battle.
The moonlight behind him clearly showed his identity, but the shadows obscured the other person. And since Zephyr wasn't the type to attack first blindly, conversation was his first option. If his enemy didn't kill him first. But Sailor Zephyr highly doubted that.

She hadn't really meant to grab the man's starseed. Vera had been on her way home as well, after patrolling with Uranophane, and well. One of the downsides to the neighborhood she lived in had presented itself in the form of a mugger. So she'd powered up and stabbed her hand into the man's chest. It was a simple way to deal with the problem, and Vivianite was tired enough at this point to prefer simple answers.
Unfortunately, it didn't look like things would be simple from here on out. "Depends on what you mean," she called back, pulling her hand out, cradling the starseed. Looking up from where the voice had come from, the corrupted senshi easily spotted the senshi above her. Well, hm. Maybe he'd be content to leave her alone, if he started off talking. "You might not believe me, but I was the one attacked here."
Taking a step away from the rapidly cooling body, Vivianite could finally be seen, somewhat. She was obviously wearing a senshi's fuku, but it was very dark - blending in with the shadows rather well. Except for the bright pink hair that trailed to the ground, of course.

"That's unfortunate." Sailor Zephyr jumped down from his perch, landing neatly next to the dead body. "For him." That alone displaced the lack of sympathy that Zephyr held for the helpless victim. His gaze briefly trailed down to the starseed she cradled, his gaze lingering before it ascended to rest on the negaverser's face. "Odd." He said with a slight smile, a bit bemused.
She was absolutely beautiful. Not exactly in the pure, innocuous way that some girls held but a tainted sort of beauty. "What, exactly, are you..?" She resembled a senshi, but her power signature did not. That, and Zephyr didn't need a senshi guidebook to know that senshi didn't steal star seeds. They may not always help (such as Zephyr) but they didn't outright steal. A complex situation, but Zephyr's mouth curved into a grin."Or I suppose I should ask, what side are you playing for?"
"Should I be wary?" Regardless of what side she was on, she was a powered being. But assuming that she had not yet attacked him, Sailor Zephyr would have bet that neither of them wanted to engage in a battle. At least, not for tonight.

Vivianite's mouth quirked up in a wry smile at the senshi's elaboration on what had been unfortunate; she happened to agree. "I suppose," she said, bouncing the starseed in one hand before tucking it away in her high-waisted sash. "He just picked a bad target this time." A simple one-shouldered shrug indicated her lack of concern for a man who'd choose to target high-school girls. Really, he had deserved it.
Apparently, this senshi hadn't been told that there were those who had 'switched teams', as it were. Vivianite was not precisely the same as say, Sailor Hel. As far as she knew, there was only one other Negaverse senshi like herself - Spinel. "I'm Vivianite," she said simply, smiling a bit. The name alone should clue him into at least a little of what was going on. "And you are?"
He really didn't seem to want to fight, asking questions and showing a rather interesting lack of concern for the starseed theft. "Maybe I should be wary."

Now that he knew he wasn't engaged in a life or death battle, Sailor Zephyr could afford to be much more amicable. "A negaverse? Interesting." It was a great deal more interesting than the other senshi or negaversers he had met so far. Why not? A beautiful girl, a cold personality, and they weren't fighting for their lives. What more could the average male want? "I can certainly see why though." He grinned, obviously remarking on Vivi's beautiful looks. "But don't worry. I wouldn't return his sentiments either." He preferred girls.
"Sailor Zephyr at your service." He mockly bowed to her before letting his gaze rake over her. "Not at all. I'm as safe - well, safer than most senshi you'll meet."
"Besides, I'm a friend to pretty girls." Provided they didn't attack him, he had no grounds to attack them. He firmly believed in gender equality.
"Why don't we do something more interesting?" He stepped closer, deceptively relaxed. There were of number of things that came to mind with that particular line, the most obvious one being up Zephyr's alley. But instead, he asked, "Why don't we play a game? An exchange of information of sorts?"
"I'm quite interested in you."
