A brown-haired man stood at the far wall, reading over a holographic screen, scrolling down slowly as he read. He pecked at a few keys on the keyboard set into his podium, then glanced up, expecting students to begin entering. A giant plasma screen dominated the wall behind him, with the message:
"WELCOME TO MAGITECHNOLOGY I"

I can see what the headmistress was talking about. This girl certainly does have a troubling attitude about things, he thought to himself.

*Serenity peeks inside, then reads the door from outside.* Yeah, this is definitely the class." Serenity steps in and takes her seat, waving to her classmates. Looking around with curious wonder, her eyes shimmer expectantly. "For some reason I'm very excited to be here."

"YAAAY! My first class ever in this school! This is gonna be fun!" Kylarra shouted as she walked in, "Hi, Sir!" she said to the teacher, then took a seat.

"Hmm. Well, we have a decent amount of students here already. I suppose we can get started," Adrian said. "Welcome to your first Magitechnology course. In this class, you will cover not only man-made technology, but also technology powered by magic. This may help some of you discover your own fighting style, but it will also aid you in a group setting, in case some of you have to infiltrate an enemy base.
"Magitechnology was a concept introduced by the elves of Aselia, more than eight thousand years ago. It was a means of using mana to power technology that could make life better for every citizen of Aselia. With her recent contact with outside worlds, though, Aselia has introduced magitechnology to other worlds, other races. Few are taught how to operate such machines, and typically have to have elven blood or some other form of magical control to operate it. Any questions?"

"You mean like the silver orbs Professor Shiva used in Survival Class? " While Shiva had mentioned they used magic, she wasn't sure it was the same thing.

"Some enemy strongholds may have drones like that, yes," Adrian said. "Getting around them, or finding weaknesses in order to destroy them, is only part of what will be taught in my course."
