Azzo was out shopping... GASP! For Christmas presents. It was getting to be that time of year again and he needed to get an earlier start since he wasn't sure what to get everyone he wanted to buy stuff.
Well, was looking around, he only really had Grams, Aurora and Mel to get something for. Everyone else he could just kinda grab a gift card and put it in the mail. He frowned as he paused in front of a bath shop. He knew Aurora and Mel seemed to like this place.
Should he go in? He seemed to ponder, he wasn't even really sure what to get them.

The crystal figurines sparkled brightly in the display behind the glass of the shop front -- horses and castles and a ballerina Paris thought would look lovely on his desk in his dorm-room. Paris leaned closer for a better look, but when he saw the price tag he immediately pulled back. He had the money, but the purchase would put a serious dent in his wallet, and there were other things he had to spend it on. Like his ballet lessons.
And shoes. Shoes were much more important.
With a sigh, Paris stepped away and looked around for another shop to visit, spying a bath shop just across the way, cheerfully decorated for the holiday season. He considered it for a moment before heading toward it, figuring it wouldn't hurt to browse. He was running low on amber perfume anyway, and should probably get another bottle while he was here. It would be simply tragic if he were to run out.
Decision made, Paris took purposeful strides toward the store, the heels of his boots clicking along the floor. He let out a sound of disapproval when another boy stopped at the entrance in front of him, blocking the way in. It was so abrupt that Paris didn't have the time to stop and ran right into him, barely able to keep his balance and remain on his feet.
He tisked in annoyance, adjusting the purse hanging on his shoulder to prevent the strap from sliding down his arm. "I hope you realize you're in the way," he said. "Don't just stand there. Go in if you plan on buying something. The soap's not going to bite."

Azzo looked startled when he got ran into backing off to the side looking at the.... girl? Guy? Azzo paused, from the voice it sounded like a guy. He looked a bit confused. "Aha.... um... sorry."
He scratched the back of his neck. He was dressed in the usual button up shirt, vest and something akin to tripp pants, without all the metal and chains. His dog ear styled hair looked a bit mussier than it normally would. Perhaps a bit of bed head in it.
"I was thinking, I didn't mean to stand in the way." He added softly trying to puzzle out if it was a guy or a chick. His cheeks happened to be tinged with embarrassment.

Paris gave the other boy an unimpressed look for his stuttered apology. "Mmhmm. Well, pay a little bit more attention next time," he said, taking another step toward the entrance to the store. He continued to stare at the boy, letting his eyes trail from his mussed hair to the loose pants he was wearing.
"You know, those pants don't flatter your figure at all," Paris told him. The shirt and vest were quite pleasant looking, but he wasn't a fan of the trousers. Of course, that was probably because he was a bit more fond of form-fitting pants -- like the tight jeans he was wearing. "But to each his own, I guess," he added with a shrug. "You might as well come in. You'll look like more of an idiot standing there gaping at the place than looking through the body spray collection. There's nothing to be embarrassed about. I see guys in here all the time."
He turned to look at one of the displays. Oh! They were having a sale on some of their seasonal scents. Maybe he'd get one...

Azzo blinked as he was being stared at. "Yeah... I'll try."
He lofted a brow when the other said the pants were flattering. "Eh they're comfortable." He replied, he wasn't sure he could wear anything much tighter and not have it cut off circulation.
He followed the other in, he seemed more knowledgeable about this stuff anyways. Azzo tilted his head just slightly, "Would you be... interested in helping me?" He asked after a second.
He wasn't sure what to get the girls or where to start. He lofted a brow at the seasonal stuff, huh sale? He wondered if that'd make him seem like one of those cheap guys. Surely Aurora would know if he'd gotten something on Sale.

Paris met the other boy with a pointed look, smiling invitingly. "I'd be interested in a lot of things," he said with a wink.
Alas, they were among soap and perfume, and judging by the boy's hesitance the enter the store, he was probably shopping for a girl he fancied. "It all depends on what you're looking for, really. And who you have in mind. I'm assuming you're doing holiday shopping. Who's it for? Girlfriend? Mother? Sister?"
He picked up a bottle of body spray at random and pulled off the cap to spray some of it in front of him, sniffing lightly before looking down at the label. Sugar Plum. It wasn't too bad. Not sophisticated enough for his tastes though.

Azzo paused watching the other boy wink. He had the slightest bit of confusion when the other winked. However, Azzo assumed that meant Paris would help and help would be lovely right about now.
He paused, "Grand mother, and two friends, both girls." He confirmed, though avoiding the use of girlfriend. "I just... don't go in here often." He added with a slight frown.
He watched the other take some spray and use it in the air and then smelled it. How odd, though he supposed it was one of the easier ways to tell with sprays. "I know one of the girls like cherry blossoms a lot..." He added softly trying to think if Polaris had said anything about what she liked.

Paris snorted when the other boy admitted to his infrequency of entering this specific shop. "Yeah, I can tell by looking at you." He didn't exactly seem the sort to appreciate perfume and bath soaps.
"Alright then," he said, putting the bottle of spray down to begin looking over the lines of bottles along the shelves. "Cherry blossom is pretty popular. Sweet Pea is, too, I think. I like amber scents myself. They have a really good one here."
Finding his favored perfume, Paris picked it up to remove the cap to spray some of it as well. "I'm Paris, by the way," he said with another smile, looking the other boy over again. "I should at least tell you my name if I'm going to be helping you, shouldn't I?"

Azzo blinked, "At least I'm honest?" He replied with a quizzical look. Wondering if this was some sort of offense to the other, it's not that he didn't want to 'smell' nice... this just wasn't his sort of store.
He watched as Paris sat down the bottle and looked along the lines of sprays. He watched as Paris sprayed some of the Amber as well. Azzo found it hard to tell what had been sprayed and what was the natural smells of the shop.
He grinned sheepishly. "Azzo Crowely." He replied. "I do apologize, this just isn't normally the sort of shopping I do. I'm more comfortable with puppets staring at me than trying to find something that I think a girl or my grandmother would like." He paused from the corner of his eye he caught the picture of a gingerbread man.
"Gingerbread?" He paused lofting a brow. "How do they do that?" Obviously his studying to be a psychologist sometimes stunted that of his common sense.

"Honesty is the best policy," Paris agreed, keeping the bottle of amber perfume with him while he continued to look at others. "Apology accepted, though there's really no need for it. You definitely don't look like the sort of guy to come in here, so I'm not surprised."
He picked up another scent to test, but put it down when he decided he didn't like it. Paris shrugged when he turned to see what Azzo had pointed out, glancing at the picture. "Hell if I know. I'd stay away from the seasonal scents if I were you. You don't want to get your girlfriend a scent that smells like Christmas, unless she likes smelling like Christmas all year round."
Paris led Azzo over to another section of perfumes and sprays. "Oh, but you didn't say girlfriend, did you? Well, that's okay. If you had a girlfriend, you'd probably want to get her more than perfume. Stuff like this is good for friends, though. What do you think of this one?" he asked, handing him a bottle containing an infusion of melon and cucumber.

Azzo nodded as he listened to the other. Scratching the back of his neck. "I guess it gives a new meaning to fish out of water."
He paused as he watched Paris test another scent. Then blinked as he said he'd stay away from the Christmas ones. "I was just thinking it'd probably make me hungry...." He muttered thinking about ginger bread cookies his grams makes. "I mean... if it smells anything like actual gingerbread."
He wasn't about to do a scent test. He'd probably already end up stopping by some random food kiosk and getting something to eat. He paused, "Yeah... I don't have a girlfriend." He muttered softly, Gram's words seemed to come back to haunt him, something they were good at doing until he actually took action.
He watched as Paris picked up a melon and cucumber one and lofted a brow. He read the label, "Um... it sounds interesting?" He said unsure of what Paris expected him to do with it.

"Well, don't just stand there. Test it and see how you like it," Paris said, rolling his eyes. "You can't just buy something if you don't know what it smells like. What if I just handed you something horrible?" he asked. "I didn't, by the way. Go with that one. It smells really fresh and it's decently popular. There's also soaps, shampoos and conditioners to try. And they have good lip-gloss."
He moved to a display of gloss and picked one in ice pink, unscrewing the cap and leaning toward a small mirror to apply some to his lips with the applicator brush. A nearby employee of the shop gave him a look but didn't say anything to him. Paris ignored it and made kissy faces into the mirror for a moment and checked out his face from different angles before deciding he liked the way it looked.
"This one is nice, but with make up you have to worry about the coloring of the person you're buying it for. Some colors will look good on some people and bad on others. Of course, I'm sure you wouldn't know about things like that. Which is fine. Most guys don't. It's really sort of sad. You know, I bet guys would understand girls more if they took the time to notice what girls like and what they do."

Azzo pondered, and tried to do the spray test like Paris had been doing feeling a bit silly as he smelled the air. It did seemed rather like a fresh scent, he seemed to consider it and looked around before grabbing a shopping basket.
He paused, "Is there a rule about getting them the same thing?" He asked and grinned to show he was joking. However, this was going to be harder than he'd expected.
"I think Aurora said something about liking bath crystals too..." He muttered as he watched Paris try on a lip gloss brows furrowing. "...Do you even know where that's been..." He asked curiously. That was one thing he probably wouldn't do was buy lip gloss that could've easily been used by someone else. What if they were sick!?
He gave a mental shudder. "Um... yeah... I don't really know. I know Mel's Asian and actually I think Aurora's a darker skin too... Grams just kinda wears like... old lady stuff." He'd always called it that, he didn't quite remember who started it, probably Gramps back when he was living.
He paused, would guys understand girls more? "Maybe." He just decided to agree, he hadn't gotten far enough in his psychology studies to argue much.

Paris shrugged again. "My mouth has seen worse things," he said with a tiny smirk. He kept the little tube of lip-gloss with him as well, holding it and his bottle of perfume in the same hand.
He considered Azzo's description of the girls he was buying gifts for. At the same time, he let his eyes rest on the other boy, glancing from his hair down to his pants. "You look a little familiar," he said, failing to respond to any of Azzo's other comments. There was something about the hair that triggered an odd sense of recognition. "Azzo, right?" he clarified. "Hmmm..."
He took a step closer to get a better look, leaning in to peer into Azzo's face. Maybe he'd seen him around school before? But which school? He knew it hadn't been recently... unless he was just going crazy.
"Have I slept with you before?" he wondered casually.

Azzo's brow twitched. He didn't like that statement, and he didn't want to know what 'worse things' were. He was looking at some other scents eyes pausing on what seemed to be a cherry blossom one and picking it up. "Is thi..." He paused cut short.
When Paris was asking him about his name he nodded, "Yeah." He shifted slightly, why was he being stared at like this? When the boy invaded his personal space he froze much like a deer would.
This was rather uncomfortable.... Azzo was hoping it wouldn't get any worse, he knew some people kinda had to get right up in your face if they thought they knew you... Then it got worse.
"Whu?" Azzo's honey brown eyes widened in shock as he stepped back. He gave a rather nervous laugh, and looked at the boy like perhaps he was crazy. It took Azzo a few moments to recover from the shock of the question, however his face was clearly red and if he hadn't had on the button up shirt the blush could've probably been seen on his arms as well.
"Um... No... I can't say that you have." He paused and swallowed taking another step back. "I... I haven't slept with anyone." He muttered looking off towards a display.
"Oh hey look bath crystals." He made a bee line, either Paris followed or he didn't. However, Azzo was officially uncomfortable.
