Hey there! Michael and Lynaria had three beautiful babies. Tygress Dream and I each kept one, and we're having a naming contest for this last one!
This opens now, and will close on Tuesday, November 23rd at the end of the day. Judging might take a day or so depending on how many entries we get. =) edit Since people were asking, there is no newbie requirement, and people who own other family members are also welcome to enter. Also, Dova did not ask for ability, I believe she will be choosing that, so I left it off of the form for a reason. =) Sooo, want a chance at winning this little one?

Meaning/relevance of the name :: Okay, so probably (definitely) I'm overthinking this, but here goes. I knew the meaning of Michael, but wasn't so sure on Lynaria. So I googled the word to discover that it's an Outer Rim planet beyond a certain asteroid belt in the Star Wars universe and decided to play off of that. Now I also noted that several of Lynaria's siblings and her father have angelic names, as does Michael, and I knew right off that I wanted to enter an angel name. But why Cassiel? Well, Cassiel is an angel who, according to Jewish mysticism, watches the cosmos and is associated with the planet Saturn, one of the planets behind the asteroid belt in our own solar system. He is often listed, along with Michael, as one of the seven archangels. (Also, if you're a Buffy fan, Cassiel is invoked in one of the spells Willow casts, just to tie it into one of his sister's names.) So, all in all, I found the name both pretty and appropriate.
