Landry emerged from the curtain, undoubtably still weary about the deal he head made with Silvia and was wondering just what exactly this match would entail. Sure he still had his Championship, but it was the EEW Heavyweight title that he had his focus on.

He walked down the ramp and into the ring rather quickly, not bothering with his theatrics or his pyro tonight for he was simply not in the mood. Instead he hopped up onto the apron in a single vertical leap and climbed inside the ropes, holding his title belt high for the hard camera with one hand, and making the Heartbreak signal across his chest with the other.

Landry scoffed and demanded a microphone be handed to him by the ringside attendend, who obliged him reluctantly.
"What is this Tim? EEW Management promised me that if I won this match tonight that i'd be awarded a shot at the EEW Heavyweight Championship! What are you trying to do huh Silvia? Is this your way of screwing me? What? Brody doesn't show up and I don't 'technically' win because the match doesn't start? Bullshit! I told you what would happen if you tried to screw me Silvia! I demand that the referee start a ringout count, and if Brody doesn't get here to compete by the count of then, then i'll be awarded the match AND my Number One Contendership by default! So what are you waiting for zebra? Do it! Start the damned count now!"
The referee, another victim of Landry's bullying had no choice but to begin a countout on Brody.

The referee reluctantly called for the bell and Landry ordered him to raise his hand in victory, which he also did with absolutely no enthusiasm.
"Ladies and Gentlemen, your winner as a result of a forfeit, "The Heartbreaker," Mike Landry!"
The crowd boo'd heavily, wondering just what exactly could be keeping Brody from showing up when he's had such a successful record against Landry in the past. Landry's music began to play but he immediatly signalled for it to be cut as he reached for his mic once again.
"This is what is has come down to EEW! This is it right here! I have defeated everyone that there is to defeat, so much so that people who are BRIBED into wrestling me...turn it down. In the past, i've controlled factions that simultaniously held all the titles a company has to offer. Right here, in EEW, within this next year...I will own every single title this comany has to offer simultaniously with only the help of my tag team partner. I don't care who I have next when it comes to my Number One Contendership match, Johnathan Riker! As far as i'm concerned, you are on notice! That title you hold so close to you at night, all you're doing is keeping it warm for me. SO SAYS THE HEARTBREAKER! SO SHALL IT BE!"
