A rather large seeming stallion rested his aching bones beside a soothing river. It was nice to just dip your hooves once in a while and take the weight off of them. "Ahhh," he sighed out with satisfaction as he sunk them into the water, one at a time and just laid there with his front feet treading the gently flowing current hardly. "What a hike. My hooves are killing me. Thank god for this creek, though." He laughed breathlessly to himself.
The stallion craned his neck back and stared up at the cloudy sky. It wasn't completely white but there were shapeless wisps of clouds here and there and his eyes locked on as they traveled across the sky. He had been walking all day. Not because he had to, but because he wanted to. He enjoyed moving around and getting to know the land. He enjoyed meeting new faces, even if he was only going to up and leave the next day. It wasn't his fault that his spirit was wild and free and didn't like to be anchored down.

Cobb tended to enjoy being alone. It wasn't that he had a problem with spending time with others, not at all. He wasn't anti-social, he wasn't a loner, he was just...well...shy. Plus when you were talking with someone, you couldn't enjoy the world around you!
Cobb walked out from a small grouping of trees, leaves and flowers purposely tangled in his antlers and mane. His tail flicked and he took a deep breath in. "Ahh!" He exhaled happily, as he walked up to the river, taking in the fresh air and the sounds all around him. It was a lovely day, albeit a bit cold, but Cobb didn't mind one bit.
He flopped down next to the water, intending to enjoy it for a little while, until he noticed something purple several feet away.

Ramses almost didn't notice the brown coated male as he wandered out from a gathering of scrawny trees. He seemed to blend in for the most part. Well, everything except his shockingly bright orange mane. It seemed to fit in though with the flowers rather than the other way around. When the male flopped down beside him and eventually glanced his way he offered up a warm smile. "Hey there, bro," he spoke with the slang he had picked up from a recent meeting in the plains. A ditsy young stallion had used it quite often and Ramses was determined to give it a run through to see how people reacted to it.
His eyes glanced over the male and wondered if he realized his hair and antlers were decorated with flamboyant petals and buds of flowers. Should he tell him? Perhaps it would embarrass the guy so he decided to keep his mouth clamped tight about that. He splashed the water lightly, trying to make it seem like he was a laid back, care free male. The last thing he wanted was the guy to get nervous and walk away. Ramses quite enjoyed a good conversation with somebody. Especially if it got his brain working. "Enjoying the creek as well, yeah? It's pretty awesome. I love little streams like this. They're so free flowing, you know?" He smirked and turned his blue eyes to the stallion, awaiting a reaction.
