Movies... ummm... If I knew better what movies you and your friends liked, we might be able to suggest some...
Things you can do... a tickle fight might be fun, but that also might happen whether you plan it to or not...
Candy: Jelly Bellys or something like that; Pocky (this might be found in the Oriental section of the store)
Games: If you have or can get Cranium Hoonoo in time for it, that's a good one, as is Apples to Apples.
Umm... How many friends, anyway? I might be able to suggest more with that information.

Oh! Here's an idea I thought of later: draw on each other's tummies (with a washable, non-toxic medium, of course) and take pictures. You may want to have a friend or two make sure the "easel" doesn't protect the "canvas" from the artist. smile

ContrabassClarinetist My goodness, that's evil. Well, if somebody doesn't want to be drawn on, I imagine she could just watch or something. But once she's agreed to allow it, she should be "held" to it, right? wink Anyway, Apples to Apples. You can probably buy it where board and card games are sold. It comes with two kinds of cards: noun cards and adjective cards. The way I've usually seen to play it is that each player gets seven noun cards. For each round, there's a judge. The judge draws an adjective card, reads it, and puts it out for people to see. (Let's say the adjective is "cute".) Everybody else tries to decide which of her cards best matches the adjective, and puts the card down for the judge to get, or hands it to the judge, or whatever. (Let's say a player decided to put her "kittens" in the pile.) When everyone's put cards in, the judge looks at them, and decides for herself which of the nouns put in best matches the adjective. (Now, "kittens" may have been the best card she had, and it is a good one, but let's say someone else put in "puppies". She might pick that one.) Whoever had the best noun, according to the judge, gets the adjective card as a "point". You can have some set number of points to play to; 4 is the recommended one. There are a couple of variations I've heard of: 1. Players are dealt the adjective cards, and have to match them to noun cards. 2. Players try to play the worst matches to the judge's card.

You could play fashion designer, with toilet paper. Each team of 3 gets a roll of toilet paper to design a dress with.
