The Animal

at the zoo there is a animal unamed and unknown
and no one cares it sleeps alone lives alone
it never speaks never moves never grunts never groans
it eats and shits
but no one cares
but one day a black shadow grabs its head
and bashs its head in the bars of its cage
bleeding and dieing
but it doesnt care it just gives up
no fight no help no future no past
and then i realize im the only one watching my eyes scard
i scream its dead its dead yet no one cares they just keep walkin away and feeling like something died inside me i walk away and wonder what to call it since no one cares ill name it ignorance

My mom's a poet. I got it from her.
I can only write when I'm in the right mindset for it. I can go months, not write a word, and then suddenly spew out 5 poems in a day. And if I try the next day I'll fail.
It's just how I work, I suppose.

you say you love me but you dont hesitate to leave but i understand i just choose not to except it i say good luck but thats just me trying to be tuff guy inside i scream dont leave but you turn your back on me with a hug and a good bye i dont say it back because i think its a joke but you shed a tear as u leave and i wave good bye even though i know its me waving telling you to stop i open my mouth trying to scream come back but my lungs stop my asofagus closes shut i calf blood i die inside my father left me to raise myself

it was the worst feeling ive ever had but it only hurt subconcuiosly cuz me and my dad dont have a relationship and it was weird i felt the anger and sadness and depression but only when i was alone and i didnt even know why
