The largest Sith Academy ever built in the history of the Sith, Akadeemia is the foundation for all those whom wish to fulfill a life on the DarkSide. It's founder, Darth Kainthe, had hoped to rebuild the Sith Empire in just a few short years. The training alone coupled with the freezing conditions that Abyssissa lead to the quick demise of most who ventured to this wasteland in the dreams of pursuing the Sith way.
What had hoped to be a few short years turned into fifty years of disappointment after disappointment. Darth Kainthe was already an elder Mandalorian soldier who was nearing his death sleep as the years passed. When Wayanna arrived to claim the Academy as her own, she found it to be less than perfect and relatively obtuse. It was then, that Darth Ursa destroyed Darth Kainthe and took the throne for herself, liberating the fleeting chokehold the previous Sith Lord had over the fledgling Sith.
From her own experiences, Darth Ursa developed a training program that did not allow for failure, for if so it meant your imminent death. The conditions of the planet were perfect for weeding out the weakest links in the chain and building strong, powerful near immortal Sith Marauders. For Wayanna, this was the ultimate sign of respect. She even granted the right to rule at her side for anyone that could defeat her in a fair dual. The rules, they could use whatever weapon they wanted, but Wayanna would be given no such favors. No saber. No blasters. No nothing, just her wits and personal strength. Few have tried, all have failed.
