As of recently I traded for Dewloren, and as I got it a Big Bang Shot fell out of my friends binder, and it was real dark and I glimpsed at it's effect to remove from play the card it's equipped to when it leaves the field, so if you equip it to Red Nova Dragon and then used Dewloren's effect to bring Big Bang Shot back to your hand, would Red Nova be removed from play, or not since Red Nova can't be destroyed by spells and traps, and I believe removing a card from play doesn't count as being destroyed but I was doubting myself so I wanted some help about it. My friend uses Red Nova/ Shooting Star all the time and I think this is a way for me to beat them quicker but like I said a second ago, I wasn't positive.

If the card doesn't say it destroys, it doesn't destroy.
Fairly simple logic.

Tsukinoki there's also bottomless and d.prison Bottomless Trap Hole declares that it destroys the monster, then removes it from play. Bottomless Trap Hole cannot remove Red Nova Dragon, because it's unable to destroy the monster.

I agree with Jazzy, I was mostly just making sure that removing from play was not destroying, since some of my friends never believe me. But now that I know 100% I'll explain it to him.
