I rate it 10 because it's become my favorite dramatic musical that I've seen so far, and I've seen quite a few! smile My favorite song is 'Empty Chairs at Empty Tables', and I pretty much sing it all the time now, if not, hum it. <3

I rate the musical a 10. XD I haven't seen it either, but when it's in the US in 2011 I plan on seeing it. Got tickets already! XD I've listened to many musicals and this is by far the best.
Favorite song: Why do you torture me this way?!?! wink I have no idea there's too many to choose from! At the moment probably The Robbery/Javert's Intervention or the Attack on Rue Plumet. However I always like One Day More, On My Own, Castle on a Cloud, and the Finale. But I've also been in a barricade boys phase. So I guess it's safe to say all of them! XDD

I rate it 10! I love Broadway and my favorite musical was Avenue Q until I saw this. The music was beautiful, the story line was wow, and it was just amazingly beautiful. I loved everything about it. Avenue Q is now my second favorite Broadway musical, Les Miserables is number 1!

Ah, it is definitely one of the best musicals I've encountered! I'm just frankly impressed with how much of the book's plot and characterization they managed to incorporate into it. Yet it still possesses a score that could stand alone. As far as picking only one song....I might have to say Stars, if I only get to pick one. I listen to Javert's Suicide, the Confrontation and One Day More a lot as well though.

Yeah, all of the songs are amazing...those are some of the really good ones. XD Oh, by the way, a poem that was on ACT quality cores reminded me of I Dreamed a Dream. smile so I started playing it in my head as I was doing the test lol.

This is a rhetorical question, right? Right? D:
Ten, ofc, because it's a spectacularly woven story of music and character and plot...and I've been obsessed with it for over 2 or 3 years without ever having seen the stage show, just youtubes and such. I've only seen it once.
The Confrontation makes me angsty because it contains the ONLY note in the entire show I can't sing. But Stars and the Suicide are a lot of fun to sing out...
(Note: I am a girl.)

-Oh I sympathize entirely, I always want to sing along with the Inspector, (particularly Quast's) but am just unable to reach those bass notes., not for lack of trying mind you; I've had some rather odd stares from confused neighbors with some of those lyrics. XD
-Yes, indeed. The infamous songs that stick in your head while testing....and they just keep playing on eternal loop...until you finally glance down and realize you've written lyrics into your analytic essay. *cough*

Agreed. That's why I sing it an octave higher when I can't reach the notes. smile Cuz I'm a soprano.... :/ and I like harmony better than melody....... razz
Well, it was multiple choice lol. But I've done that multiple times in texts and stuff like that lol.
