Kelebek pranced around the deserted field, chasing butterflies. She was fascinated by them, and found them the most beautiful things in the world. She wished with all her heart that she could one day grow a pair of flutter wings like Hathi. Or maybe momma could make them for her? She longed to feel a gush of wind underneath her as she could soar the skies.
Kelebek was day-dreaming away while she crouched and jumped stealthily after the butterflies. She'd never even dream of hurting one because they were just so beautiful! She fixated her eyes on one, and lowered herself down into the tall grass, her butt sticking out of the tops. The blue butterfly landed on a blad of grass and elegantly closed its wings. Now was the time to surprise it!
Kelebek lurched up and towards the butterfly, expecting it to fly away. But it didn't. Once she realized what was about to happen, she couldn't stop herself from flying towards the butterfly and knocking it down. She landed on it with her heavy body. Shrieking, she sprung back up and looked at the butterfly, hoping from the depths of her heart that she hadn't hurt it. She looked around frantically, hoping someone would be around to save the butterfly if it had been hurt.

Samandiriel had managed to sneak away from his parents for a little while and made his way into the field one over from their own. It was just as flowery and beautiful, and for all he knew, it could actually still be part of their territory, but he had not tread here before without at least one of his parents or Grandma within line of sight. But today was a beautiful day to practice changing form, and this is what the determined little foal had decided to do.
After a good fifteen minute session of keeping his small form Dir alighted on a blade of grass for a quick breather. And then it all went wrong. Out of nowhere this big tan figure came charging over and before he could react she was falling over and on top of him. He wiggled and squeaked, trying to get out from under her, but to no avail. She squealed and quickly got back up again and then panic ensued. He shook his head and tried to stand up, but instead fell back over onto his side. He lost control of his form and quickly began to grow back to his normal size. Once there, he managed to lift his head back up and curl his legs underneath him, but standing was not something he was going to attempt for at least a few minutes. Rest first, then stand.
His eyes found the filly, and he attempted a small smile, somewhat sheepish in demeanor. He flapped his wings a few times, trying to shake them out after that little incident. He was alright though, not hurt in any way, other than perhaps a little sore with a few creases in his wings. But even those should work themselves out in a few days. "Why'd ya do that?" Dir asked aloud, not annoyed though, he was simply curious what would entice another foal to pounce on one a twentieth of her size!

Kelebek's eyes grew wide as she watched the butterfly she had crushed turn into a foal, just like her. She couldn't believe her eyes. Involuntarily, she stepped back a little, somewhat frightened, allowing her to get a good look at him. He was a flutter, just like her brother Hathi! She jumped up and down in joy and sprang back at him, carefully not to tread on his wings. She leaned down and nuzzled him tenderly.
"I'm so sorry! I was just... erm... y'know. Chasing butterflies and stuff!" she delightedly jumped on her spot, keeping her eyes fixed on him. He was so pretty! Only later did she realize that he wasn't getting up. Panic froze her body as she stopped hopping, and with a worried voice she asked,
"Umm, are you okay?" her ears fell and her eyes saddened as she knelt down beside him, hoping he'd be okay, and that she hadn't broken his wings or something.

After he asked his question Dir lay there, watching and waiting. What ensued was most curious if he were asked to describe it, but he watched calmly all the same. "Chasing butterflies and stuff" she had said, and then he nodded, that defintely made sense. Well... he supposed, anyway. He'd never really chased butterflies, but then again, he flew with them whenever he felt like it!
She came over and knelt down beside him, worried and asking if he was okay. He tilted his head to look at her better and with a smile he quickly replied, "Sore and crinkled, but not hurt!" He shook his short mane and flapped his wings a few more times trying to finish straightening them out. "I meant, why did you pounce on me?" A small eyebrow raised, inquisitive.
