There were three judges. One Roman human, one Atolian maltir and an Anghoran kendari. The jury was of mixed species. The Supreme Imperator himself was at the trial, but he was only there to observe.
After a short while, the prosecutor spoke up.
"Admiral Jenson, you are charged with several war crimes against the Atole Kingdoms. Now, we will hear your case and keep this fair. Choose your words wisely, Admiral. Your life may depend on it."

Admiral Jenson stood before the jury with a look of disdain on his face. For the last couple of hours, he had been wondering how his invasion met with defeat. Victory was just moments away! He had anticipated the arrival of backup, but he figured his forces would have defeated the Maltir by then; it was a grave miscalculation.
Knowing that a terrible fate awaited him, Jenson stood proud and awaited his execution. He knew this whole trial was nothing more than a farce as to make his captors appear to be fair. With little else to do, he would play along to speed things up.
"I suppose an introduction is in order then," he said with clear contempt in his voice. "I am Admiral Rob Jenson. Under orders from commanding officer, I staged an invasion of this world."

Half-shrouded in shadow and features impassive, the sorcerer watched from a corner of the courtroom, hands clasped loosely behind his back.
The Lady of Bainbridge was at home, shaken, wounded, and barely able to care for her newborn.
Some sort of vengeance was in order, but the Admiral still had to be useful by the end of it.

"And make coats out of us in a brutal genocide!" Gar yelled out. He would have yelled more, but the prosecutor put his hand up in a motion to silence him.

"Mmhmm. I see. What was your reason for invading this world? More territory? Resources? Simply following orders?" the prosecutor asked inquisitively, pushing his round glasses up the bridge of his nose.

"Emperor Dragonheart ordered us to do horrible things," Jenson admitted, having no reason to hide it. "I and my men were simply following orders. Anyway, the Emperor desired the resources of Atole."

"Funny...Atole has been dry of natural resources for quite some time. The last of the quarries and mines closed down and relocated to other planets centuries ago. Tell us what these resources were, Admiral."

"His Majesty has manipulated the intergalactic black market. As grisly as it sounds, the Emperor was going to sell Maltirs as slaves and fashion apparel." The Admiral just stood there, calmly explaining.

There was a cry of rage in the crowd. A spitting, cursing Gar was escorted out by a security guard. Several other people asked each other questions in shock. It wasn't until the maltir judge called for order did everyone quiet down.
Remus had heard the rumors, but he didn't believe them to be true until the Admiral said it.

"It gets worse," the Admiral said, trying to make his voice heard amongst the uproar. Once the judge had settled the courtroom down, Jenson continued. "The Empire's Supreme Minister of Science was also planing to implement the cybernetic process to the Maltirs, turning them into willing soldiers. Maltir tenacity powered by superior cybernetics."

The prosecutor nodded. "Thank you, Admiral. That is all I wanted to know. Do you have anything else to say before I let the judges decide your fate?"

"I believe that is all." Jenson stood and awaited the verdict, waiting for his death sentence.

((This is going to go by the votes in the poll.))
The court was given a short recess while the judges talked in the backroom. After awhile, the court readjourned. Jenson was brought forward to hear his sentence. A man came forward and spoke for the judges.
"Admiral Rob Jenson, the judges have decided. It is not our place to decide your fate. Rather,we will be sending you back to your Emperor. However, the surviving men that were under your command will be held in TA ((Tri-Alliance)) prison camps until the war is over."
All rose as the judges left and the court was adjourned.

All that he knows, wasted... You shouldn't be there anyway. Just because you've severed ties with Remus doesn't mean that I can't indulge my curiosity. Curiosity, my foot. You want to break him.

"N-no...! You can't send me back! Send me to the guillotine!" Though demanding in tone, Admiral Jenson was overcome by fear.
