Aoni sighed as he rounded the corner through the long hallway, his arms filled with enormous boxes full of all the provisions he would need for college.
'Why does my room always have to be the farthest away?' he thought as he finally approached dark wooden door at the very end of the hall. Knocking with his foot Aoni thought it would be polite to see if he already had a roommate or if he would be rooming alone this year. Either way he didn't think it would be to bad, after all he could pretty much do whatever he wanted, as long as the teachers weren't around.

After waiting for a minute or so and there was no answer Aoni set down the boxes and pulled out a key from his pocket, opening the door he saw that it was a rather large room, well room was an understatement this was almost like a house. It had two bedrooms of average size, a bathroom, a living room and even a kitchen attached to it. Eyes wide with bewilderment, Aoni stood for a moment and thought, 'Dad.' Sure enough as he opened the first box, which happened to be the mini-fridge, a letter sat. There was the unmistakable chicken-scratch that barely passed as handwriting of his father in a message that read:



Aoni couldn't help but laugh at the letter, his dad had the same sense of humor he did. After chuckling and folding the letter and putting it on the counter he took out the mini-fridge with one arm while unpacking the air-conditioner as well. Getting both out he opened the fridge and sure enough there was the money his father spoke of along with a note, once again from good ol' dad reading. "Told ya!" he simply crumpled that and tossed it over his shoulder as he set the refrigerator up and got it running and the air-conditioner as well.

Taking the money he counted it up and totaled a little over 1000 dollars. 'Nice Dad,' he thought, 'your probably going to be beat for this one.'
After finishing setting up the big stuff he strode into one of the rooms, the cool baby blue walls calming him almost as soon as he walked in. "Yeah, this will do." He said to himself as he unpacked his personal belongings.

Withing half an hour he was all set, he had his bed made and his PC up and running, one thing he was very excited about was that this School had WI-FI. He could now E-mail his dad rather than sending letters which were time consuming and bothersome to write. Aoni felt rather warm, he hadn't turned on the air yet but instead of doing that he simply took his shirt of, letting his light skin cool against the air.

He strode into the living room and laid on the couch, waiting for a roommate to finally knock and end his lonesome time, though he didn't much mind it yet.

Shooting up when he heard the knock Aoni went to the door, not realizing he still was not wearing a shirt, and pulled it open swiftly. Staring him in the face was a girl, well a part girl at least, already wearing a uniform of the school. At her heel was what appeared to be a wolf. Startled, Aoni stepped back and said. "Well, I guess you must me my roommate. I am Aoni and who might you be?"

"Will I will try not to," Aoni said closing the door behind his new friend, keeping a good space away he continued, "Your room is the one closer to the bathroom. I am sure you want to get set up and probably unpack so I will be out here so you can have your privacy, if you need any help just ask." And Aoni went back and sat back on the couch and waited for Azer to do what she needed to do.

She came back and Aoni perked up again, she had said something about finding her classes. "Oh man that sucks. They didn't give you a map to the school?" He asked holding up a folded piece of paper, "If you really need it you can have this one, I have already been to all my classrooms and know where they are so here." with a small flick of his wrist he tossed the paper to her and went to the fridge, pulling out a can of pop he cracked it open and began to drink. Out of the corner of his eye, he began to really inspect Azer. She had a nice build to her body, he really was checking her out, but he was weary of her eyes, making sure to look away if she turned to him.

After the dog started barking Aoni couldn't believe it, he had been caught checking his new roommate out by the dog, changing his mind flow he told Azer, "Well I will be here if you want to go on your escapade for the location of your classes." Drinking more of his soda he tried to keep his eyes off of Azer's body as much he could. Wouldn't want Ookami biting him, after all, he had all year to make an impression on this girl.

"Bye, you know where to find me." Aoni told Azer. He watched her and her pet leave and he relaxed. He went into his room and put on a shirt as time passed. After some time he began to get bored and watch T.V. in the living room. Aoni let out a big sigh and placed his hands behind his head and relaxed. "This year is going to be great." he said to himself.

Aoni had been sleeping when Azer had walked in and tossed the map at him. It just plopped right onto his face and woke him. "Hey, long time no see." He said to his returned friend, "Did you get lost?" he asked with a slight chuckle rubbing his eyes to wake him up. "So did you find everything ok?"

Aoni noticed Ookami looking at him, almost as if the dog was watching him, making sure he didn't do anything wrong. "Well it looks as though your friend has taken a liking, or a disliking, to me already." Aoni said to Azer, "I hope I haven't offended her in some way."
