mkayy here's a new PC forum topic. Has anybody here played the science-fiction shooter Half-life? I used to play the original often years ago on my computer. Lots of fun and you can play it on a crappy computer since the graphics are low. Other than that I have also played Half-Life opposing force on the PC. Also an awesome game and fun playing from the soldier's point of view. I heard that Blue Shift was horrible so I never played that expansion. And lastly I have played the first episode of Half-life 2 but, it was on my xbox. Okay so.....Has anybody here played the science-fiction shooter Half-life? Also, you may discuss, criticize, praise, etc. Half-life here. Post anything half-life related!!! More Info.

I played only the Half Life 2 episode 1, but I so want 2 play part 1 and Episode 2. I still like playing Half Life 2. I replay it over and over to find anything I missed the first time around. I'm surprised how much I missed on my first try. Like Your friends can pick up better weapons( not instant kill weapons like the magmum and the crossbow) and health packs. Then tried new stragies like carring the friendly auto turrent around (VERY HELPFUL on hard). Then what I like the best of it is Fused Gravity Gun + Ragdoll Physics = FUN. Very good game.

I have played Half-Life the original before. I was still pretty little at the time so those spider things that jump at your face scared the living s**t out of me. I was fine with the humanoid things since I could clearly spot them, but those damned spider things makes very cautious around corners.

The "We Never Go to Ravenholm" on half life 2 scares the crap out of me. One place there's like this place filled with those little jerks. When I think I killed all of them I get hurt n im like"WTF?" and turn around to see it jumping at me n then im like "OH JEEZ, where's my SMG!"

I also seem to recall the memory of having to traverse a sewer that has its ceiling littered with that long tongue trap monster. I got caught by one and was gonna use my gun on it...and found out I was completely out of bullets. Perhaps my memory is a bit fuzzy, but I remember not being able to kill it with the crowbar so I just wasted several more lives trying to get past those things. Definitely a FUUUU- moment. At least those damn spider things could be killed easily once they're finished scaring the s**t out of me.
