1: Winter rose scam- This scam is very old but some people still try this old trick and some times it works , the scamer comes to a random user with some items that he or she can sell for a good amount of gold normally one or two items that can get around 200k with those or that item. Firs the scamer will talk to you nicely then will offer you to trade for example a yama no tamago for a winter rose if you accept the trade the item wont be a winter rose it will be a White Rose Wristlet Corsage wich it worth 800 g if you accept the trade you will lose your item and reporting the scamer will be a waste of time cause most of them use mule accounts.
2: Shark tooth scam - this scam is almost like the winter rose but the scamer goes for items that worth around 900k. Just like the winter rose scam the shark tooth looks almost the same like the sharp fish teeth wich worth around 8k and it will be a big lose for the scam victim,I have only seen one person trying to use this trick but it didn't work.If you know how the winter rose scam works you will know how deal with this as well so remember to check your trades before accepting them
3: The password scam- This is the most lame of all the scam that can exist, of course to us the old dogs in gaia but for our newbies can work and I'm posting it cause i want to protect those innocent lambs. This dirty trick is silly but the scamer shouts in the rally something like ''Gaia doesn't allow you tho say your pass word in rally '' then ''******'' Is not a password gaia only blocks badwords not your password remeber always not to share your password is the first rule of anti scam
4: The gold generator site-I'ts been a while since i saw this scam but just like the password scam this one can work for newbies who had saved a small amount of gold wich it means this trick is used to get small fishes.The scamer goes in the rally or town and shows a link to a gold generator site that might turthworthy but ask for your password and like i said before the first rule is not share you password with anyone that includes not posting it. There is no such thing as gold generator is just another dirty trick the only ways to make gold in gaia is,vote in arenas,post comments on forums or profiles ,daily chance,booty grab,games, buying cash etc.
To end with remember what i said about no sharing your password and i highly recomend to not trade with people you don't know in rallies or towns try to avoid it,if you want to trade and item go to the exchange forums or trade with friends that you really know.
