I know, its not much but its more for cosmetic and friendship purposes. since soq is one big family, I guess it pays to remember your friend's Birthday here don't cha think? Give them a greeting or whatnot. :3

I don't really think it's necessary... people who want their birthdays known have it displayed in there user profiles. Plus, Gaia has the option to send you a PM reminder when your friend's birthday is. With how many Soquili regulars there are, that would be a massive list.

Thats TOOOO many birthdays and someone that would have to manage the list and post and no doubt there would be a birthday every other day making it not so special anymore

Yeah... I don't really think this would serve a huge purpose. People already usually have reminders in their sigs, and that's generally enough as long as you aren't a 100% lurker.

Everyone who has a birthday is free to go to the POW WOW subforum in Era to make a celebration thread if you have a birthday. We have so many people that it would be insane to keep track of all birthdays. Many owners are on my friendslist so I try to give a gift or a well wish if I see someone's birthday is on a day I log in.
