So, I signed up to get the Game Informer magazine- which for
those of you who aren't familiar with it- it is literally a magazine
about upcoming games, reviews of games, and about anything
else you can think of that involves a video game. But basically it's about every kind if discussion about video games.
So far, G.I.(game informer) hasn't caught my attention to anything
in particular recently, until this new edition just came out.
It bashes Devil May Cry, on how Dante overall is just another albino loser with demonic powers who always fails to get laid.
Another one of my favorites was 'everything that is wrong with Final Fantasy 14' And from reading, here is everything that is wrong with it in a nutshell: You have to pay atleast 3 different companies in order to play FF 14, you don't actually pay the Enix company- it's the 'play-online' company, which you might be familiar with if you've tried to play other FF online games. Also, there is no real point to FF 14- it's repetitive. It's all pretty graphics but that is the only thing Final Fantasy has going for itself nowadays. Enix has fallen behind in the gaming world, along with Capcom. The new leading gaming companies are the ones who make Call of Duty, Halo and Grand Theft Auto. (it also names a few others)
Now this is not what I think, this is in a nutshell what the reviews of games that I know aren't doing so hot
.
Rumored Zombie Games:It also talked about how there is a major trend in Zombie fanatics, thanks to the releases of L4D, L4D2- along with other factors. Supposedly, Rockstar is working on an actual Zombie game- Rockstar almost always kicks a** when making games, they make the GTA series if you're not familiar with them.
Also, if you've heard of Cabella's Dangerous Hunts, there is a zombie form of it coming out- where you hunt animals that are infected with a zombie virus. Woot.
Other things I saw were a Zombie Kirby game.
Truth:A new download for the Red Dead Redemption game where you take on missions that involve zombies invading the dying wild west- and the bonus you get are two horses of the apocolypse; War and Famine. Which one can set zombies and people on fire at will and the other has infinite stamina.
Fable 3: For those of you who like the Fable Series, well Fable 3 is basically no different than Fable 2- apart from that you are the child of the Hero of Fable 2. And remember how you could choose what option to use to impress or scare villagers? Well, in Fable 3- it's random. So you never know if you're going to accidentally seduce a person of the same sex that is straight or if you're going to threaten a child instead of making them laugh.
Call of Duty: Black Ops- I hear it's kickass, except the Dual-Weld option. 'Spray and Pray' is still in effect- so stick to single used guns you trigger happy soldiers.
A new Mickey Mouse game is out- called 'Epic Mickey' supposedly it's awesome and it's for Nintendo Wii.
Another chapter in the Kingdom Hearts series was released. the Lost Chapter. Oh great.
For those of you who may have heard something about a Pirates of the Caribbean game- well, it was cancelled.
The Sims 3: it finally reached consoles and is probably one of the best PC games in which it's controls successfully adapted to PS3 abd 360 controls.
Little Big Planet 2- It is more awesome, if you played the 1st one, everything you earned in it transfers over to the 2nd LBP and then along with the new goodies and treats that have yet to be discovered.
Assassins Creed 2-The online system will have you
'sold'So far, this is what interested me in the Video game world.
