 Kaname took a deep breath and looked out onto the desert sand. Most of the tribe was still asleep but that was okay with the red phim. The sun was slowly rising over Kemet and he thought this was the perfect day to ask Himeko. The sky was clear, when wasn’t though, and there was a slight breeze on the air.
Nearly perfect, and after all many months ago he had promised her to take her to a place in the tribe not many had heard of. Of course he had to plan the trip as well as he could being the slight perfectionist that he was. Last time he went slightly impromptu he ended up getting his leg bit. However some good had come out of it. He had made up with Horus and had told himeko he had liked her. She had said she felt the same.
So for his question today he was most certainly going to make sure another fiasco like last time was cut to a minimum. He made sure it was during the day this time when the crocodiles would be less inclined to attack not that they where suppose to be going near the water that much and even if they did crocodiles where less likely to attack, it was no where near mating season and they tended to just bask around in the sunlight.

 Himeko had managed to wriggle free from Hollow for the day. Hollow had just given up on Hime, learning quickly that while Himeko often listened to her and adored her she was not going to back down from seeing the man she felt so strongly for. She was not going to back down from this, no way!
Her tail wagged softly as she thought of the winged male, Kaname. She hadn't seen him for a bit, but that was expected. He had injured himself anyway. Though, he had said he liked her! Her heart hammered every time she thought of him. That red, black, and white male that was quiet and yet she loved every moment with him.
The carer was exploring right now, enjoying the feeling of being awake before everyone else. She had time to think about Kaname, even if she did feel like a little girl whenever she thought of him.
Oh...what was wrong with her?

Of course before he could go out and whisk Himeko off for the day he first had to finish up the training for being a shaman. He had told horus he would join Kemet but his original training to fill the role had long been stopped when Kemet first disbanded. Now he needed to catch up. Being a desert fox held more dangers than one would expect and he had to relearn how to help take care of the modeities. However Horus had said if he put an hour in he could take the day off.
This worked for Kaname because personally he still needed the resin to dry on the gift he was giving Himeko. He was glad for once he went back to kemet, they where the only tribe he knew that had picked up the recipe from the humans to preserve things artificially.
Taping the small cylinder he smiled that it was now safe and looked up at the sky. Atum had whispered that his training was complete for the day and who was he to argue with a modeity. Seconds later he was airborne and sailing on the natural currents that spawned all over kemet. Now he just had to find his girl.

Himeko paused, glancing behind her as a lizard scrambled by. Her tail wagged, padding over to follow the lizard and crouching down when it disappeared in a hole in the ground and curiously seeing if she could see the inside of the hole. She couldn't, giving up and standing, padding off as she explored. She knew Hollow would probably throw a fit when she woke, but Horus could take care of that. She smirked at this thought, head tilting as she thought of her elder. He was a good elder, Hollow seemed to know when to hold her tongue around him.
And, Horus had thought about Kaname joining, and this pleased her. If Kaname joined she would be so happy...and it seemed like he was on the right track.

(lol and this is because horus sends all those that dare disobey him to the shadow realm *is stoned by the horus)
Kaname spotted a black blob on the ground and smiled. He wasn’t quite sure it was himeko yet because Kemet seemed to have a lot of black foxes but since it would either be Horus or Hitoru Kaname figured it wouldn’t hurt to descend his latitude. He had yet to actually talk with his friend’s mate, he would probably have to rectify that, actually he should probably talk with most of the tribe. Angling his body he turned his flight into a dive descending rapidly towards the ground at the last second he pulled up and gently landed next to himeko. He made a note to talk to Atum who seemed to be playing match maker from where ever he was in the sky.
“Hello there Himeko” he said in a pleasant tone.

Himeko jumped as she heard the sound of wings above her, glancing upwards as Kaname landed beside her. Her tail wagged, a smile twitching on her lips. "Hello, Kaname!" She joyfully responded with, tilting her head. "What brings you here?" It seemed that her luck was always playing well for her, and had recently gotten even better. Kaname was here! He was here...again!
Her eyes flicked to his leg, moving just a little closer to get a better look. "Did you heal well?"

Kaname laughed and moved his leg showing that is was perfectly fine now. “Yes thanks to you and my nagging of Horus It’s completely better” he smiled. “Ah well last date I promised you I would take you to Aswan and today seems like such a beautiful time to go there.” Kaname pointed out. He did admit he also had a hidden objective. Being stuck in the temple for months gave him a lot of time to think to himself and he had come up with a very startling conclusion.
He just had to find out the right time to share and ask her. He inwardly smiled as he realized this meeting was going rather smoothly and noticed himeko seemed to have disappeared from Hollow once again. One day though he would have to come to some sort of agreement with hollow he didn’t want himeko torn between wanting to see her sister and seeing him.

Himeko wagged her tail once more, perking up. He was back to keep his promise? "Really?" She nearly bounced on her heels, smiling at him. She would nuzzle him, but she was to shy for now... She wasn't one to make the first move. "Yes, that would be wonderful!" Spending time with Kaname... that was good! She was excited, faintly forgetting that when Himeko had returned last time Hollow had made an oath to skin the winged male if she saw him. Really, she wouldn't touch Kaname, she knew Himeko would be depressed if she did anything to him.

Kaname watched her attitude and smiled. The good mood was very contagious not that he wasn’t already extremely happy. “Yes the water has receded back enough that I can actually land us on the ground instead of the actual statues themselves.” Kaname replied. “Well then we should probably leave for Aswan soon. I would hate for either of us to fry in the sun” Kaname smiled. “Would you like to walk or fly there?” he asked. It would be waaaay faster flying but then again it would be arrogant of him not to consider Himeko’s feelings on the matter of flying. She had seemed okay with it last time but….

They were going on a date! Though, at the mention of flying she blushed, looking down and drawing in the dirt with a nail. If they flew Kaname would have to touch her. And and and... they'd be close! Also, she loved flying, it felt nice, leaving her at times wishing she herself had wings. But she had Kaname, and having him hold her as they flew was much better than having her own wings.
"I-If it's okay and I-I'm not heavy...can we...fly?" She questioned, looking up with red cheeks and chewing her bottom lip.

Kaname’s expression sunk for about a millisecond when Himeko looked down at the ground and lightly pawed at it. He had a feeling if she answered she didn’t like flying he would be devastated. However his fears where hardly founded and seconds later she asked him to fly. The joy on his face was nearly unrivaled as he nodded. “You never have to worry about being too heavy unless you turn into a modidavea or an antelope.” He pointed out still smiling. ‘she… she actually likes flying’ he thought over and over in his head.
It had been too long since he had found a fox that actually was okay with flying, his kind was numbered in the world and even less than there should be at the fact most phims tended not to mate with other phims. It was quite a rarity to see a third generation phim. He chuckled a bit though when he realized Kemet had three.

Himeko smiled fondly at Kaname, approaching closer to him and tilted her head at his chuckle. Had she done something amusing? The orange haired black vixen sat on her haunches, sticking her tongue out at him playfully. "What are you laughing about, Kaname?" She questioned, tail flipping back and forth as the thought of the upcoming date rushed through her mind, sending her heart into acrobatics. She blushed once more, eager to escape from this place and spend time with him, time no one could interrupt. Mostly Hollow. She would come running if she knew about her little meeting with Kaname.

“Oh it was nothing to terribly important. I was thinking about the different phims and who they chose to be their mates. Most of the time we tend to go for um normal foxes so there aren’t that many of us out there. It’s even rarer to come across a third or fourth generation phim.” Kaname explained. “I was laughing because kemet seems like a breeding ground for strange things. We had two perma kits and three full blooded phims” He pointed out. "well I better commence with my kidnapping before protective older sisters wake up. Shouldn't I?" He teased before maneuvering his wings outwards and catching a drift upwards. Gaining enough altitude he swooped back down and carefully picked Himeko up. "we're going to be going a bit higher than I took you last time but dont worry I wont drop you" he pointed out.

Himeko nodded, smiling warmly at Kaname as she was lifted, squeaking ever so slightly. "She's only older by a day or two." She pouted. Hollow's BCR had been easy to break through, however apparently Himeko had a harder time hatching, hatching a few days after her sister did. The vixen closed her eyes as she was lifted, enjoying the feeling of being weightless as she was lifted. She didn't mind the mention of higher height, more interested in the feeling of being free and all four paws off the ground.

He followed the pyramids swerving around them quickly before catching the wind again to their destination. He pondered her comment on only being a few days older. “I never had any siblings myself but as you know I grew up with Horus and often thought of him as a younger brother. I think it doesn’t matter how older you are from your sibling but its just the need that some one needs to take control when you are kits to survive and you just get to used to the roll it becomes a part of you. Maybe… I’m not exactly the expert on siblings.”
