Hello fellow Power Ranger fans! I have been enjoying a trip through memory lane thanks to a reviewer by the name of Linkara that has created a series called History of Power Rangers. So far he is up to Wild Force, and I love watching his videos, being able to really enjoy re-living my childhood memories of the Power Rangers series. Of course my personal favorite was Time Force (even dressed my avi up as Trip from Time Force because his character was awesome). Already posted this in "What is Power Rangers? Click Here" topic, but having it exposed elsewhere on the guild is good.
This is a well done series by Linkara which goes through each incarnation of the series. It sucks that he has kind of slowed down on it, but he's dedicated to doing every series so it is worth waiting knowing he will eventually catch up to current stuff.
The parts I like most from it are him explaining certain things, the behind-the-scenes reasoning for why some things ended up like they were (such as Forever Red's ending.)

I would love to see him perhaps do the same thing with either Kamen Rider or even Ultraman (though maybe not that much exposure here in the US, but still would be rather fun to see him review those as well).

I think power rangers is the best we will get out of him unfortunitly. As much as he is aware of sentai and most likely kamen rider, he doesn't have the passion for it I don't think. He seems to be doing this because he's a big fan of power rangers so I think he will only do this sort of thing for this series.
Maybe if we're lucky, he'll do one on other Saban shows like Masked Rider or Super Human Samurai Cyber Squad. I kind of doubt he'll do even that though. gonk

If I had the time and money and availability to do it, I would love to do a series like Linkara for all the Kamen Rider series. But..... with Toei's little copyright thing going around Youtube and other video sites, grabbing up videos and shutting down people's accounts, I don't think I would wanna risk it.

Ayame Ubi parts one and two of Ninja storm has been posted. YAY!!! I have been waiting for his take on next series in his analysis. I respect what he does, and find it very informative, as well as thought provoking in his Rangerdom analysis. Great stuff. Keep on going, Guy with the Glasses!

didnt know that guy with the glasses had a ranger section, considering doug dislikes them. I guess I shouldnt have jumped to conclusions.

I actually watched his Ninja Storm thing and I gotta say I enjoyed it. Despite him mispronouncing "Goukaiger," which urked me, but I can it let slide, I found his insights and comments quite enjoyable and entertaining. He reminds me of the Star Trek reviewer sfdebris in a lot of ways, both in style and in opinions.

is there really a U in Gokaiger. Seen it several ways and the U just seem so out of place.

"U" is there because it's meant to elongate "Go" If it wasn't there it would sound like just go instead of what it actually is. Though you could just put a line above the the o in go and it would still be pronounced the same.
