As you walk into the room, floating targets are being disposed of while metal music is being played in the background.
The sole entity in practice, is none other than the teacher himself. A barrage of explosions, and fireworks reminiscent display fills the gymnasium sized room.
At the final moment, a blast of wind rushes forward after the final target is disposed of whilst the teacher is facing away from the finishing kaboom.
"Any questions," James inquires.

Dione narrows her eyes at the sudden gust of wind as it forces her to take a step back. "Oh, Jamie, you teach here? This is getting weirder and weirder by the minute... Um, yes, I have a question. Just what is this class about? Are we just gonna fight and such, when you take into consideration the show we just saw?" She rubbed her eyes, her vision still being blurry from the boom and wind.
Sunano looked at Dione, then James, then Dione then James again. "Wait, you KNOW each other?"
Dione giggled a little at Sunano's reaction and smiled. "Well yes, I wouldn't say that we know each other that well, but, let's say we've met. Or i at least I think we have, in this school, there's nothing I'm sure of anymore..."
((Oh my god! I just noticed I had written "when you take into consideration the SHOE we just saw". I was so cracked up. rofl Anyway, since Dione's at rookie-stage here, let's say she's met 'Jamie' before. Once. Is that okay?))

(Yes that is okay.) Eyeing the first newcomers, one looked familiar, and the other completely new.
"It's good that you asked what this class is about. You see, it's about not only using your energy element, but syncing your physical element with your energy. The ability to work well cannot harmoniously cooperate if there is an imbalance.
Then there's the utilization of your surroundings. The use of your surroundings to your advantage."
"Are you with me so far," the teacher inquired.

In the middle of his next thought, a voice had slipped through the cracks, and befuddled him. This caused him to twitch a little.
"No, not ninja stuff. But," beginning an epic anime pose, "MAXIMUM LUSOCXITY!" pointing forward in the same epic manner, sounding like a soprano with his voice. You swear it sounded like Major Louis Armstrong.
"This isn't a martial arts class. However, some of those aspects will be incorporated into this cirriculum."

*Serenity sits down with a puzzled look on her face.* "I'm not entirely sure I get the gist of it. Other than that, how would the power of light and healing work into this? See, I haven't really accomplished the use of any other power yet. Do you have to be tapped into any other power to do... whatever it is... you were doing there just now?"

Taking a keen eye to the next oncoming students, one of them struck his mind as well acquainted, but didn't want to mention anything.
"To answer your question," clearing his throat to begin, "yes. It's not easy though. I had a wonderful teacher, too," going into a dissertation about his past teachings.
"Sorry, I was just reminiscing. But to answer your question, yes. Light, and healing? That's up to you. I'll be interacting with my students here, and answer your questions as best I can."
Assuming the neutral position, James said, "This class will allow you to tap into your inner potential, and taking advantage of your surroundings. I humbly welcome you to these grounds."

Midnight wandered into the class room. "Sorry for being late" she said as she quickly found a place to be inm the room.

"Late," James questioned, more than said, "You've arrived on time. This is the first day. I'm not penalizing anybody. Which reminds me, if you're getting worn down during class, take a break in the mezzanine area. Accommadations are set up for your use."
About-facing everybody, the Terran had pointed out the empty surface ahead of them. "Photons, and Forcefield will be used for terrain configurations. The safeties will be turned off during exams, and quizzes. During assignments, safeties will be turned on."
Returning his position to face his current students, James continued, "Drones will be used for opposition in combat. Don't hesitate to take out more than one, but do be careful when aiming, or directing your fire. This gymnasium sized room cost a lot to build."

Before getting to his next lines of the script, James became startled by the voice, and shouted, "TEETH!" taking a scared pose.
"Oh," clearing his throat again, "excuse my manners. Good morning to you. As I began to say, my office is across from the mezzanine."

Waving aimlessly, James began to head for his office on the other side of the gymnasium sized room.
