This RP is between Mihail (Tamiko_kitten ) and Amaya (Divena & Divenasmom) Amaya shuffled the leaves around until they rested beautifully over the rope trap she had set up. She took a step back and studied her latest prank before shifting another leaf. Perfect! The trap blended in perfectly with the forest floor. Now all she had to do was wait for some unsuspecting soquili to wander by. With a grin, she ducked behind a bush and crouched low to wait and watch. Assuming, of course, she didn't get bored first.

(just wondering what's your opinion on the font colour? If its too light to read I can change it) Mihail cantered through the trees of the forest, leaping gracefully over a few fallen logs and pretending he was a deer, or a wind soquili, or something even more impressive! Like a wolf! A fearsome wolf racing through the forest, that's what he was! Grinning and pleased with the idea he had thought of he ran some more, not really paying attention to where he feet went, just focusing on the games he was inventing in his head. It was a shame really, that he didn't have anyone else he could play with. It got a bit lonely playing with himself and it was so boring hanging around Tatiana all the time! All she wanted to do was walk through graveyards and talk to spirits. Bleh, he needed far more adventure than that. And if the only way to get that was on his own than so be it.
He was so caught up in himself that when he ran over a particular patch of forest ground he didn't notice anything unusual at all. That blissful ignorance didn't last long of course.
"AHHHHHH!!" Mihail exclaimed loudly, eyes wide as he raised his head from the ground. What the- how had he gotten on the ground! One moment he was happily racing through the forest and the next he was down, and trapped only it had happened so quickly he barely had time to notice. He was stuck in a rope, that part was obvious, but he struggled a bit to no avail. Obviously, this could only mean one thing.
"I dont taste good I swear! I'm way to stringy and plus I have horns!" He yelled out then, hoping to deter whatever kalona must have set this trap for him. It must have been a kalona right? What else sets traps. Of course Mihail didn't get out much because if he did he would know kalona probably had much better things to do with their time than build rope traps. But still....the idea was entertaining at least.

Amaya giggled helplessly. Oh that was priceless! Please don't eat him! As if she would! Of course, young Amaya had never come across a Kalona, so she had no idea what he was so afraid of, and simply found his reaction hilarious. Laughing, she rolled out from the bush she was hiding behind.
"You should see your face!" she giggled, not even bothering to try and stand up just yet.

The pale foal's eyes looked around wildly for a moment before hearing a feminine giggle and watching as a filly emerged from the bushes, cracking up at him. He felt himself blushing a bit with embarrassment. He had been fooled, by a girl! A girl who was currently rolling around on the ground at how funny it was. Obviously it wasn't a kalona that had snuck up on him, geez his ego wasn't going to handle this too well.
"Well," he said a little more defensively than necessary, "you could have been! I mean....could be possible."
He rolled over and kicked out trying to get the ropes off his feet and walk away with his dignity. Unfortunately however, fate would not allow him that small gesture as he found himself decidedly tangled in the rope. He looked at her again, not sure whether to be annoyed that she had got the better of him or concede defeat like a gentleman. Either way, he wanted out of the rope.
"So...uhhhh....this rope. You wanna maybe help me out of it?" He mumbled, embarrassed, again, that he couldn't do it himself. And once again he wasn't sure whether to be impressed or annoyed so he settled for a little of both. She had got him pretty good he supposed, couldn't fault her on that one.

She was still giggling when he finally asked for help. For his benefit, she swallowed the new burst of laughter and nodded. "Sure," she grinned. A giggle escaped. Hey, she was only mortal! You couldn't expect perfection from her. Still, she tried to fight back the giggles and laughs as she pulled on a rope here, and nudged a rope there until he was untangled.
"There you go!" Amaya chirped, still grinning like the cat that ate the canary.Though there had been no doubt in the filly's mind that her trap would work, there was still nothing like a successful trick. The rush was mind boggling, and what she liked to call giggle endorphins were still flooding her system.
To put it simply, she was feeling both giddy and perky.

He noticed her stifling her giggles as she came over to help him but this time he rolled his eyes good naturedly. Once he was out and could finally kicked the rope off of himself he got up and shook himself off. Actually, he felt a lot less annoyed now that he was out of that darn rope feeling like a rabbit in a trap. Even if it was the trap of a pixie-looking filly it was a trap nonetheless. Mihail supposed he should be impressed. Or something. It was a bit of a shock to find such an innocent looking filly with such cleverness, usually they were the shy types. She was interesting, kind of funny when she was giggling and jumping around, and so instead of walking off he decided to stick around and talk to her, her trick had been pretty good.
"So, you set lots of traps like that? It was pretty well made, I mean I didn't notice it, so that must mean it's well made." Though he came off a little cocky his compliment was honest, though hopefully she didn't expect totally humility. C'mon, he had to salvage his pride somehow!

Amaya preened under his praise. While it didn't occur to her that she might have accidentally hurt his pride, it also didn't occur to her that he was boasting in anyway. In Amaya's world, if you were capable of something, and knew you were capable of it it, then you had every right to brag about it. If you weren't, then you didn't mention it.
"Yep!" she grinned. "I make all sorts of traps, but that one was my best. I've gotten really good at it."

He grinned, loosening up a little at the filly, she was pretty funny he supposed. And her trap was pretty good. Well it better be pretty good since he had fallen for it, and since of course there was no way he would have fallen for a bad trap...hers must be good! Mihail wondered how often she tested them out too, because the more he thought about it the more fun it sounded.
"Cool! What other kinds of traps do you make? And I mean if you want someone to help you set them up sometime...well you know I guess I wouldn't mind. Would be pretty neat to see how you do them," he said with an excited grin and wag of his tail. Despite the fact she had tripped him up pretty good, she was actually pretty fun to be around.

"Weeeell," she grinned at him. "It's like a magician with his tricks, y'know? A good trickster never reveals her secret, but since I can tell you're like me, I'll tell you something." She lowered her head and her voice, first glancing to the left then the right. "I'm working on something new."

He leaned in closer, tail wagging eagerly as he waited for her to tell him. She was sounding very secretive about it, this was exciting, he had never shared a secret with anyone before!
"Something new? Wow, what sort of something new? Do you need any help, cause you know...I could always help you out."
He wondered what sort of new thing she could be working on, the rope trap was pretty awesome, so maybe it was an extension of that? Or, there was always the possibility that it was something completely different! That would be awesome too. He wished he could think up tricks like these.

She grinned, her eyes dancing merrily at the idea she'd come up with.
"It's kind of like the rope net," she confided. "Only instead of a net, it's just a long loop, and instead of yanking you up and holding you, it grabs you by the leg and flings you around!" she jumped from side to side as if to demonstrate the flinging process.

His ears perked eagerly as she told him. This was so exciting! It was like a secret, a secret plan between the two of them, and it made him feel a bit giddy, like he was part of something no one else was.
He stepped back as she started jumping around, demonstrating her rope trick. "Wow! That's so cool! Do you know how you're gonna make it? Do you need supplies and material? Do you gotta make it all by yourself?" He asked, questions rolling off his tongue too quickly. It was just that this was so exciting, he couldn't wait to see how it actually worked when it was finished. Her demonstration had been pretty interesting and he wondered what it would look like on an unsuspecting soquili.

She grinned, thrilled to have someone to plot with. "I've got some ideas. I need more rope. All the rope I had went into my net. I don't have to make it by myself, though. Wanna help?"
