Welcome to my mini- rp and contest. As everyone knows S’kor’s bronze, Scarath, looooves sweets. The dragons have been growing quickly in recent months. Knowing this S’kor told Scarath to wait outside and he’d bring the dragon his treats. Unfortunately, Scarath couldn’t wait that long and went in anyhow. Now the bronze realizes why his rider told him to wait outside. He seems to have gotten too big for the tunnels and is now stuck! Not only that, he is blocking Weyr traffic. What a pickle he’s gotten himself into this time.
S’kor and Scarath need your help! This will be an ORP with a small prize at the end. ^_^
How this will work:
I’ll do an opening post with S’kor and Scarath, and roll a 1d20.
After that, other charies will try to pass through the tunnel only to find it blocked by bronze butt.
Roll a 1d20 and try to match my number. Meanwhile, your char(s) are giving suggestions to get Scarath unstuck! It doesn’t matter how crazy your idea is(it doesn’t have to make logical sense!), anything goes here.
The first person who matches my roll will be declared the winner! Their suggestion will help free Scarath from his imprisonment.
1 post per char plz, but you may enter as many as you’d like! (Characters however must be from Trine.)

He’d told his dragon to sit outside and wait. S’kor knew the beast was getting far to big to squeeze into the kitchens anymore. With Scarath sitting and waiting outside, the rider strolled inside to retrieve the danties. Half way through, he heard a commotion in the hallway. Figuring it to be some kids playing, loudly, he set to ignore it and return to his dragon as quickly as possible. That is until……
’Miiiiiiiiine! Help! I’m stuck and I can’t get out.’ A thoroughly chastised bronze called to his rider. S’kor left the tray and moved briskly into the hall. Sure enough, there was his bronze filling the tunnel. He looked up at the head. “I told you to stay outside! Fold your wings tightly and back up slowly.” He looked exasperated at his dragon.
’S’kormine, I can’t. It isn’t working,’ he replied after several minutes of attempting to back out. His tail waved back and forth in anxiety at the other end of the tunnel.

F'ren was lounging in his bunk when Toulonth informed him of a certain... situation. "Mine, Scarath is stuck, S'kor is trying to help him get out, but he cannot, we should go and help" "Alright Toulonth i'm coming i'm coming," he replied.
Swiftly he had managed to find a way to where S'kor was, "S'kor, let me guess, following you to the kitchens?" he laughed, that was until he saw that both Dragon and rider were anxious "Why don't you try rubbing oil around the doorway and on him? maybe that will work if the wall and him are slippery?"he suggested.

D'lin had been rather peacefully chatting with a friend in the kitchen when the commotion caught his attention, he really didn't think anything of it at first - clattering and commotions in the kitchen's wasn't anything new really but then Plexith piped up in his head.
'Scarath is stuck mine' The bronze dragons voice informed him and if D'lin wasn't mistaken he could swear his bronze was on the verge of saying 'i knew this would happen someday. What do you mean he's...stuck?' 'In the kitchen's mine, he tried to follow S'kor, even though he shouldn't' Plexith continued before voicing his thoughts to his fellow bronze as well 'You really shouldn't have' Nevermind that right now Plexith! This isn't the time to lecture your friends D'lin told him as he rounded the corner to see the bronze Scarath...who was indeed stuck quite snuggly doorway.
"Perhaps if we greased him up some?" He suggest to S'kor.

'Bronzes are silly creatures' Cheryth commented seemingly out of the blue "Why would you say that love?" Inquired Ca'mil as they walked along together. 'Because one of them has gotten stuck in the kitchen doorway' "What?!?..how does...I don't even...nevermind then lets go and see if we can help" Ca'mil responded somewhat shocked by this news.
upon arrival she could see that yes..sure as heck there was a bronze butt sticking out the kitchen doorway. "Well..no doubt about it, we'll have to call in the smith..maybe they can hammer some of the rock away without hurting him.."

S'kor knew this would happen. He nodded apologetically as other riders showed up. "I told him to wait outside. Silly beast wouldn't listen." He sounded amused and exasperated at the same time. Prompted by F'ren and D'lin, S'kor ducked into the kitchen and came back out with some grease.
"You would think, with how much oiling he gets, that he wouldn't need anymore." He stated as he rubbed the rocks and dragon hide with grease. "Try it now Scarath. You should just pop out....."
The bronze trilled in worry. The grease did not seem to be helping him any. His tail waved side to side as he attempted to back out, but didn't get far. 'But the food is best right from the oven, Plexith.' It appeared like the tunnel was big enough when he looked in.
S'kor arched his brow as a crimson rider suggested the smith could free his dragon. "That might work, but I think the smith is out of the Weyr right now. Some job or other. Know anyone else who might help?"

"...Scarath is stuck in a corridor."
K'ro, who had been arranging the furniture in his new weyr to his liking, glanced over at Viridith. "He's...?" Stuck. In a corridor. No need to ask what the treat-loving bronze had been after. "We'd better go and see if we can help." Once on the ground, K'ro entered the Weyr and moved along the corridor until his path was blocked by a bronze backside, and several other people trying to be helpful.
"I wonder if we could get some rope around him or something," the young rider mused aloud.

V'al's measured steps slowed and lost their rhythm as he came to a stop. Eyebrow raised, he eyed round bronze rump blocking the path and the various weyrpeople gathered around the tail discussing what was to be done. He smirked, suddenly finding the scene simply too amusing to resist, and offered in congenial tones, "You might just have to walk around him for a while if the oil doesn't work. Might get to be a bit of a mess on this side - I guess S'kor will have to take care of that - but he'll thin down without anything to eat in a day or two."

V’al tilted his head, only more entertained by his own musing and the confusion in the hall. Lerath, curious, has been asking what the matter was and gave a suggestion. Mine, maybe they could shove him back in so he could leave through a larger exit? If I remember the weyr correctly, there should be other ways for him to get out.”
“Ah, Lerath says you might be able to shove him back through so he can leave through another exit. You might have to wait for night and get a watchwher to shove him back through though.” He was grinning now. Imagine that, a disfigured and ugly wher helping the bronze unstuck himself.

Akaya ran across the pileup and the last of the suggestions by V'al, wincing at the thought of poor Scarath stuck in a tunnel while he slimmed down. Shoving seemed a more helpful solution, but...Scarath was a bronze, what if they couldn't get enough leverage on the other side?
Poor Scarath! But he is so fond of sweet things... Sleeth confided in Akaya, before telling the bronze encouragingly, Don't worry Scarath! Everyone will get you out!
"It might seem silly, but if we can get some of the treats outside, it might give Scarath something more tangible to work for...?" Akaya suggested. This, after all, wasn't the only way into the kitchens...just the most convenient one to use.

mine have you tried some butter?
"that's a good idea, you could try rubbing butter all around the edges S'kor?" he suggested "Toulonth said it might help" He worried about Scarath, whether they would have to wait for him to get a little skinnier or if the smith would get here soon.

Privately, K'ro thought that was rather a lot of butter, but he said nothing aloud. "Could we get some buckets of cold water?" he suggested. "Flesh contracts when it's cold, then maybe oil or something would help him slide out backwards." He was sure somebody would have a giggle over that one, but even if it sounded silly it could work.

'Maybe so Plexith told his fellow bronze. I"m sure S'kor will bring it out to you next time..' He stated, though he wasn't all that sure that Dragons should be eating people food to begin with. But while as a hatchling he might have told his friend this - he'd grown just a touch more..sensitive..as he grew and somehow he didn't think this was a good time to have that particular argument.
'Thank you for small favors at least' D'lin told Plexith as he caught the jist of his Dragon's thoughts. "Too bad, I was sure that would work" D'lin told his fellow riders, rubbing his chin in thought as idea after idea was put forth. "Maybe if we can twist him around a bit,surely he had to squirm a bit to get in here..he probably didn't come in straight like we're trying to push him out"

Ca'mil nodded slightly at the twisting suggestion "That makes sense, he'd had to have had at least one foreleg come in first, extending his leg would have made his shoulders thinner in profile, can he wiggle one leg back out and then the other?" She suggested while Cheryth warbled her encouragement from outside.

S'kor pondered the cold water suggestion. "If this was anyone other than a dragon I'd agree with you K'ro. But if they can take between and they bathe in the cold water, I'm not sure it will work. That was a good idea though."
He heaved a painful sigh. 'I suppose Mine will have to now.' He trilled sadly at his rescuers. Someone would get him out wouldn't they?
