Rynn decided that despite not liking extreme temperatures they were where she had the most luck. Cold weather she met her future mate, in hot weather she found a tribe. She yawned a bit. It was boring waiting for that old fashioned fox. Couldn’t he hurry up and just get here already? Rynn wanted to kiss him, lick him, and bite him when he came. The kiss and licks were because she missed him. The bite was because he was taking his sweet time coming and patience was not one of Rynn’s virtues. She had asked Horus if he could meet her mate. This was a big step for Rynn. It still feels odd to have a mate. It feels odd to have a tribe too the more I think about it. I never expected to wind up with either let alone both. Rynn’s left ear made a quick flick back and forth to shoo off a pesky nat. The Faiyum oasis was in Kemet’s territory but on the edge so that Rynn could meet Robbin without having to introduce him to the entire tribe. Although maybe I should have invited one or two of the Phim’s along just to see Robbin’s reaction to nearly being dive bombed. The Phims in the tribe where good natured so they wouldn’t do it on their own, but Atum would do it as long as no one would really get hurt, and Persephone would do it if Rynn got Jaci to join in to help convince the lightning Phim. An evil smile appeared on Rynn’s lips as she plotted this out. Her tail wagged slightly. Looking to her left she nodded at her tribe’s elder. He should be here any time. And that had better be soon or I’ll throttle him! Still I hope he gets along with Horus. If Horus o.k.s it then Robbin will be able to come and see me more often. I really reeeaallly hope Horus says yes.

 Robin had been on the run for a while now. He had gotten an important message from Rynn,his mate, to meet her in some desert that he hadn't really heard off. But than again he generally didn't travel outside the forest except the one time when he meet his cute little orange vixen on the ice.
So here Robin was running threw a hot sandy desert. Temperatures hot and uncomfortable for him but than again he had a jacket in a hat on. Kind of stupid seeing as they were dark colored but hey its what made him him. He continued to push him self harder in the hot weather wanting to get to her quicker. He had missed her a lot and he wasn't about to let heaven or hell come between em let alone a desert. I'm coming Rynn~ he thought while trying to keep a steady pace so he didn't pass out in the heat.

Horus yawned and stepped forward again traveling on the hot sand. He had left Persephone and Kaname in charge for the time being seeing as the phim where rather impressive at getting people to listen to them. He just hoped Raz didn’t cause too much trouble, or hollow making another scene over the fact Kaname was dating her sister. Tribe life definitely was more hectic than he remembered, but he smiled he wouldn’t have it any other way.
Horus sipped on some water from his little carry pouch and gave a stern look up at the sun. he had left relatively early to escape most of the morning heat but apparently his coat was having different ideas. Why was he traveling out across kemet’s desert? Oh that was right, one of his tribe members had asked for his blessing on her choice of mate. He hoped he could make the right decision and every one could come out happy.

Rynn closed her eyes for moment. She could still see the icy land where she met Robbin. The visage changed to the ruined old castle she had made him agree to be her mate. When she opened her eyes again she thought she saw Robbin in the distance headed toward her. Nah that can’t be him. He wouldn’t be stupid enough to come traipsing around the desert in his hat and coat. It must just be a mirage caused by the heat. I should drink some water from the oasis soon to stay hydrated. Turning her head preparing to get up she saw a dark colored fox coming toward her location. That’s no mirage, that’d be Horus. I wonder how he handles the heat. It can’t be easy being a tribe elder who has to go out and check up on everyone. Let alone checking up on everyone in the heat with a dark color coat. I’m glad I’m not him. I’d be cranky enough to snap off the head of the first fox that pissed me off. Rynn shook her head in pity for her tribe leader. Then she raised a paw in greeting at him to show she saw him.

Robin spotted to moving dots off in the distanced and hoped they were Rynn and the elder. He didn't really want to spend more time out in the sun. He used the last of his energy for a speed boost and headed in the dots direction. The closer he got the better he could make out the two dots and sure enough they were Rynn and the elder. He ran until he was about a yard away than he slowed down to a walk. He was extremely thirst but didn't want to show it. He knew if he opened his mouth his tongue would bounce up and down like a pink yo-yo.

Horus finally reached the oasis and finished off the last bit of water from his bag now that it was safe to do so. he waved back at his tribe member and suppressed a yawn. Normally all foxes got up around when the sun rose. Horus was rather lenient about this and let everyone but Kaname and the priests stay in bed a bit later. however he knew that today he would be meeting rynn's mate and had awoken a bit earlier than he was used to, to make sure everything would be okay.
He watched as another male entered the oasis and guessed it was the mate Rynn wanted him to meet. "you should probably convince your mate to get some water. He looks like he might need some" Horus pointed out.

Her ears tilted back Rynn held back from chewing Robbin out. Moron! He really did come to the desert wearing his d--- coat and hat! Why was it that he was so vain! It’s cute but a pain in the tail! “Stupid! There’s water over here.” Rynn pointed to the oasis waters next to her. “Honestly, I can’t believe you. Are you trying to kill yourself?!? I’m so glad you came.” Rynn gave Robin a look that said if they had been alone she would have tackled him; however she would let Robin keep some semblance of dignity in from of her tribe elder.
Realizing her rudeness she nodded to elder. “Sorry Horus let me introduce you two. This is my mate Robbin Hood. Robbin, hun, this is my tribe leader Horus.” Rynn’s heart was full of music. She wanted to spring up and dance, she also wanted to bite and torture Robbin within an inch of his life for being a priming old fashioned fox who was idiotic enough to go running around the desert in a dark colored coat and a hat!
(she's happy to see him, but already wants to kill him >.< pity poor Robbin?)

Robin took his scolding from Rynn trying not to smile at her because it was cute. But he knew she wouldn't be happy if he mentioned it allowed in front of their audience. "I love you to Rynn dear and I'm glad to see you."He said with a smile before turning to the elder.
Robin bowed low to him while saying "It's an honor to meet you Lord Horus" He than slowly came out of his bow and gently touched Rynn's tail trying to let her know that he wanted to hold her.

Horus watched the two interact with a blank face. The two seemed a bit stiff around each other although Horus could tell they generally cared for each other. It was a pity that they thought they couldnt act naturally around him. "You know you guys dont have to be stiff I dont care if you act normally. There is no need to try and over do it to impress me" Horus spoke up. "and please Just Horus is fine no need for the lord" he said with a smile secretly glad he had dark fur and his blush was invisible. "although it is a pleasure to meet you as well sir Robbin" Horus felt the need for the honorific just until he knew the other foxes preferences on how he wanted to be called.

Rynn padded at ground kneading it softly. Well to be honest Horus the fact you’re here does prevent me from tackling Robin but that’s not the only reason I’m holding back. Rynn glared at Robin her voice level and calm despite her obvious agitation and fidgeting. This moron has been traveling through the desert in a dark color coat and hat and he hasn’t had anything to drink! If he doesn’t get something to drink soon he’ll end up a crusty well dressed mummy. I’d really rather not have to burry my mate in a tomb so early in life. It was good that Robin was polite and introduced himself to her tribe leader, but if he didn’t hurry up and hydrate himself Rynn was going to take action. Throwing him in the oasis is always an option. Stupid old fashion fox.

Robin chuckled at Rynn and pulled her into a kiss to calm her hopefully. "I'm fine love. And why wouldnt I wear them? I always wear them. "He said with a small smile before turning his attention to Horus. "Alright I'm sorry." he replied before walking over to the oasis before his mate had a fit. He took a tiny drink than came back to them.

“Ah I understand well I just wanted you to know that you should hold back on my account” Horus pointed out and smiled as Robbin seemed to relent and walked over to the oasis. Horus frowned at the amount the fox drank. He seemed extremely thirsty earlier. “It is always important to keep hydrated in the desert. If you don’t Osirus will claim you sooner than you want” Horus said. “So drink as much as you want. You should always drink before you get thirsty because your already doing harm to yourself. If you plan to visit Rynn a lot this would be a good thing to keep in mind.”

Rynn stops fidgeting once she sees her mate head to the oasis to drink. Listen to her elder speak to Robin she nodded. She looked at Robin and didn’t scold him since her elder had already taken care of what needed to be said. Instead she trotted over to the edge of the water. Hey why not come and sit here on the water’s edge while we talk, that way we can take a swim if we get to warm. That and maybe then that stupid fox will take a longer drink. I know he wants to be by me since he hasn’t seen me in forever but still he needs to take care of his health. If he doesn’t take another drink I’ll dunk him. Rynn’s eyes took on a happy little glint as she solidified her plan.

Robin listened to Rynn's elder and nodded but he kept his eyes on his mate. She had an idea in her head that he could tell but what was she planning? He didn't know. "I see that look love. What are you thinking?" He asked watching her closely.
He had nodded to her plan about everyone moving closer and looked at Horus taking his eyes of Rynn for a second to ask "Do you agree Horus?"

“Yes resting near the water is a good idea but perhaps not too near the water. I’m not certain this area is completely free of crocodiles” Horus admitted. Living in kemet one learned not to trust what you first saw. The desert often created illusions and the humans in kemet had placed strange curses on various caves and tombs. Then there were the animals. Crocodiles often looked like logs or waited just under the water’s surface for their unexpected prey.
