A lot of my "high triggers" (mostly monsters) are not triggered on a lot of glows. It seems like dolphins still always glow, but it seems like some of the others (stone coatls, outlaw wolves, lawnsharks, to name a few) glow less often than they used to.
This could just be me, but has anyone else noticed this? It is very subtle.
I'm not up on mini-monster stats. I went from a pure Dark Knight tank to pure dolphin tanks so my knowledge is limited. I do know there was a time (I think) when all lawnsharks glowed each glow. If they no longer do that then it is a change.
There are two factors here. One is how often the tank glows and the other is what percentage of a particular type of fish glow during any given game. There are other factors too of course but other stats are easier to see in analyzer.
I do believe tanks glow less often but I don't have stats to back that up. Just a general observation from owning six dolphin tanks. All dolphins still glow every game yet I have seen a significant drop in tank gold production in spite of being posted in more threads than ever. That suggests either the tanks are not glowing as often or less people are playing booty grab. Both could be true. And in case you are wondering, I've already factored in the closure of DM. My tank gold levels are less than pre-DM days.
EDIT: I guess a fairly obvious third option could be tweaks to the BG game - more power downs, fewer power ups - etc. If so those changes are subtle. When I play it seems about the same and I usually make as much gold as I used to.
The other factor - how many of a fish glow during a game - I know less about. Your next glow looks pretty good. 16 of 17 will glow. All the dolphins and 7 out of 8 of your outlaw wolfs. That looks pretty good but of course it is a one off look. For all I know next time only 2 or 3 of your wolfs will glow.
Have any of you tracked this more closely and have better data you can share with us?
