Background History: After Kagomes brother Yumi left, Kagome was the center of her fathers attention. He was a hateful drunk who couldn't even make it into a mission. He took his anger and dissapointment out on his kids.
When Yumi first left, Kagome felt betrayed. She looked to her older brother to protect her, because it seemed her mom couldn't. She was very young then, and doesn't remember much. But her disliking of her brother faded. As she grew older, she felt it was her job to protect her mom.
Eventualy she ran away with her mother, and for a while they traveled. Her mom tought her how to fight when she could, but her mom eventual got sick. They were a few miles away from a town, but her mom couldn't make it. And kagome wasn't going to leave her mom.
Little did she know that an assasin had raided the village, and happen to have ran into them. The assasin killed her mother, and through blind rage Kagome murderd him, her sharingan being activated at her young age. She was eventualy found, and escorted back to the leaf village, where her home was. She attended school, and became a very stealthy and dangerouse kunoichi. She still searches for her brother.
