 Kimi was hungry, it was a hunger that was becoming more and more common lately. Bloodlust.
She had already attacked several foxes and wolves, and managed to catch three of them.... but it wasn't enough, never enough. No matter how much blood was spilled by her clawed paws she was never truely satisfied, only a large creature could do that.
Since she had attacked the Miakoda herd she had resisted the urge to go after bigger prey, still licking the wounds on her pride. Maybe she should find something smaller.. an Usdia or something of the such? She could use her normal hunting style... pretending to be a angeni with her mighty four wings, she could hold in her nature for a while, pretend to be something else while she lure them to a location of her choicing... then strike! BLOOD!! YUMMY!!
Kimis wings tweetched in anticipation, she couldn't wait. She wanted to strike and kill and destroy.

 Arya was wandering.. as usual, ever plodding along in her quest to meet a Zombie. Her hooves ached, and her heart felt heavy because she hadn't met anyone for the last few days, in fact, it had been more than a week. She yawned and stretched. "Today i'm going to find a friend" she muttered to herself, looking up into the sunny sky. "Zombies can wait for night" she smiled. Plodding on towards ... anywhere that seemed to hold the lingering scents of other Soquili.

Kimi froze, her keen hearing had picked up a sound. Swiftly her ears twitched and turned to catch the sound more clearly... twigs and leaves rustling, small soft noises. That meant a smaller creature, maybe a wolf or a bear cub?
Curious and suddenly hungry again she moved with predator silence towards the sound, her entire body on high alert and ready to switch to her animal form in a moments notice. Then she saw it, a small usdia with grey-ish brown fur and a off-colour mane, black empty eyes with the smallest red glow with them? Did that make the creature one of darkness like herself? If so, it was almost a shame for her to consider eating it but a predator had to eat, and right now this dainty creature was her prey!
Licking her lips out of habit Kimi plotted her plan of attack. The options that burst into mind where;Lead her deeper into the forest and then kill her.Suprise her here and kill her.Pretend to befriend her and then take her time killing her.Let the beast out and do with her as she will.... kill her! In many ways it didn't matter, as far as Kimi was concerned this creature would die by her claws and teeth. Deciding to play with her food and test her control before slaughtering the dainty creature Kimi stepped into her path with every intention to 'play'.
First though, Kimi needed to gage the creatures responce to her... would she become panicked and flee? Or would she hang around long enough for Kimi to have fun? Even if the creature tried to flee Kimi would follow, she knew this forest well it had been her hunting ground for years and that was unlikely to change... she was the baddest thing to live within these trees.
In a way Kimi almost felt pity for the Usdia.

Arya halted, she could scent Soquili .. strongly here, as if this was someone's territory. She'd been humming a tuneless song to herself quietly but now she stopped, her ears twitching this way and that for the sounds of others approaching.
Arya jumped a little as the big female stepped out of the darkness of the surrounding foliage but she saw the wings and sighed in relief. "Oh .. phew, i thought you were someone dangerous for a minute there." she said to the female who stood in front of her. "Don't mind me, i'm just travelling about, looking for Zombies" she commented as if this was an everyday thing to all Soquili.

Pleased that the creature had been fooled by her 'Angeni' pretending act, something that had certainly come in handy... and with this little one looking for 'Zombies' or so such crappy fantasy. More and more to her advantage. She could already smell the blood, feel the creature struggle and die by her hoof. Yes... this was going to be fun!
"Zombies you say," there was a slight hiss to her voice, and no matter how hard she acted her bird nature always seemed to surface in some form. Still she tried for graceful and elegant. Angeni's are meant to be both after all... despite the fact that she hated them.... especially her brother. Yes, what a horrible breed to have to imitate for a simple meal.
But Kimi had to play belong, "What does a Zombie look like? Maybe I have seen one?" Yes... that way, in a place I know I will have you all to myself... to kill you!!

Arya blinked, did she really just hear the mare hiss? ... no she must have been mistaken. Shaking her head a little with a smile she nodded. "Yes, Zombies" she confirmed in a calm voice.
For some reason she was beginning to feel just a little uncomfortable being this close to the mare, but she shook the feeling of when asked what zombies looked like, now HERE was something she could talk about for hours. "Well, they're dead .. or rather... the undead" she said, as if that was something the mare should have known "They're often rotting, but walking around, sometimes they'll be missing limbs, or have skin falling off, or if they're REALLY bad, they'll have their insides falling all over the place." she grinned "They're kind of dangerous though, because they only think of eating .. mostly they'll eat anything so i sometimes take any dead things with me just in case they want to eat ME!" she laughed, thinking it amusing that anything would want to eat her.

Kimi watched the mare with interest.... an undead creature, with organs and skin falling away from their body and insatiable hunger. She could most definatly relate with that.... it seemed she was always hungry these days, without Zeta she seemed to be getting hungrier and hungrier... more and more desperate. Her conquest over this pathetic little creature would definatly aid her wanting to tackle bigger kills once more.....
It seemed that the key to tricking this mare lay in her obsession with a creature that did not exsist.
Still, Kimi had been lying and acting most of her life -he concept of tricking creatures into believing she was harmless, an Angeni of all the foal creatures that walked the earth... but still more than you would suspect believed her. So, telling this mare that she had seen a Zombie should be a piece of... well, flesh!
Kimi tilted her head as if contemplating it for a moment before still finally said, a smile on her face; "I think I may have seen one of those earlier... I didn't know what it was so I kept my distance. If they are dangerous it is a good I did." Again there was a hiss to her voice, the animal within her struggling to surface but she hoped that the subject matter would keep the mare interest, especially when she added.....
"I could show you where I saw the creature?" The bait was out. Now to wait. Kimi was very good at waiting.

Arya's ears flickered back and forth, her skin twitched as though she had flies crawling on her hide. She watched as the mare thought for a while, all the while growing more and more uncomfortable. She just couldn't put her hoof on why that was though, since the mare seemed nice enough.
Her tail twitched her nervousness as the mare replied to her. "oh they are, very dangerous if you aren't careful, but i kind of feel sorry for them, because they can't help their nature, you know?" she babbled out before her whole body went excitedly rigid. "WAIT!..... you've seen one?! Where!?" she asked even as the mare told her she'd show her where "REALLY?! you will? omigosh Thank you!" she replied, her voice almost a squeal in her eagerness, all thoughts of being uncomfortable having gone out of her head at the thought of actually MEETING zombie.

Kimi was pleased, very pleased by the little creatures reaction. Zombies may not exsist but the dead sure did... and Kimi had her way this little creature would soon be joining there number! She licked her lips, an action she wasn't truely aware of actually doing -though perhaps it looked more like she was moisting her lips rather than imagining saviouring the flavour of this Zombie Fanatics blood? She could almost taste it... niavity leaving it sweet, innocents giving it a sutle bite and or course imagination making it bubble with excitment! Yes, Kimi wanted this creatures blood more and more by the second.
"Of course I will show you...." ...the inside of my stomach. She smiled, a soft barely audible chuckle leaving her lips as the animal within her bubbled to the surface once more. It was becoming harder and harder for Kimi to hold it back, the bloodlust was entricing, calling her into the darkness. Still she managed to say; "It wasn't that long ago, we may be able to circle in on it and trap it?" She grinned, it wasn't often she could reveal her plan in words... but this creature thought they would be doing the trapping not that she was the one to be about to be trapped. And oh how Kimi would enjoy it!
"Come on then little one... lets leave before it gets to far away." Kimi turned back in the direction she had come -she had to make this seem realistic, part of her wanted to check the creature was following but felt that would give her away instead she set forth.... on a Zombie hunt!

Arya was so excited, "a zombie a zombie, i'm going to meet a zombie" she sang to herself quietly. Her hooves itching to be on the trail already, she looked up at the bigger mare with a wide smile, "That's so kind of you! thank you" she replied cheerfully enough, but there it was again, that feeling that something wasn't right here. "Why would i want to ...trap it?" she asked, confused now "i only want to talk to it"
The mare had started to walk off before replying, and Arya was feeling uncomfortable again but she wouldn't let go of the fact the mare had said she'd seen a zombie, so Arya would follow, "hey! little legs here! wait for me...please" she called to her.

Only when the little creature commented on her little legs did Kimi remember who she was with, part of her was so comsumed with the joy of getting closer to the kill that the anticipation had overrode her common sence. Little creature... small movements... slower pace. All in all that meant one thing to Kimi.... longer to wait.
Still she somehow managed to make herself stop and wait for the creature to catch up, the stress was visable now, she could almost see herself shaking. It was hard to keep the blood lust down, the haze of red was already starting to steam over her eyes until she could see and think of nothing else but blood.
She shook her head, a hiss escaping as she hissed out the word; "Sooooorrrry."
Instinct was taking over, she snapped her head forward towards the creature. Her pelt wings rising of their own accord, desperate and longing for more action, for the warm flow of blood and flesh as she took it from the source. The change wanted to take her over, wanted to consume her, wanted it all.... to give into animalist instinct.

Arya hurried after the mare, valiantly trying to keep pace with the larger Soquili. "Thank you" she panted as the mare stopped. "Just ..give me a moment" she said, hanging her head a little to catch her breath, for the moment her guard was down totally.
"Sooooorrrry."
Well, that was a strange way to talk and Arya snapped her head up jsut in time to see the mare's hard lunging towards her, those large wings now looking decidedly menacing. "h...hey!" she squealed scrambling backwards, away from the scary mare, her brain not quite registering that this was no Angeni. She just thought maybe the mare was having a moment of madness ....or something.

Kimi lost it, hatred and the need for blood and flesh were a rising wiggling beasts that longed to be free. A freedom that couldn't be ignored or denied much longer.
Bones snapped and reformed, as her form started to change and shift into that of a hawk. Wings spred wide, the jewels still laced upon them jingling and dangling in elegant beauty as she snapped her now beak jaw. The animal hiss left again as she flung herself forward.
No more waiting. No more patience. Just the thrill of the hunt. And the scream of death leaving the pathetic creatures lips as it left this world.

Let's see what happens.....
1- Kimi is too excited but the idea of being so close to the kill that she overcompensates and misses her mark.
2- Kimi lunges forward and gets her claws into the little ones back before forcing herself to fly off to try again.
3- Her wing gets caught on a tree -she didn't see it- and because of the hit she rebounds off hitting another tree before crumpling to the ground.
4- Kimi hisses and manages to slam into the littler creature.
5- Kimi changes her mind last minute and flys around above the creature determining the best angle to attack from.

Arya watched, horrified, frozen to the spot as the mare, who she had thought was kind, started to shift into .. something else. Arya felt decidedly ill at the sight of her changing into hawk form. Snapping out of her daze she shook her head and started to run, her short legs moving fast to escape the Skinwalker, now that the mare had revealed herself as such. "HELP!" she cried, hoping someone out there could hear her, but at the same time, she didn't want anyone else to get hurt.
She panted as she felt the eyes of the mare/hawk on her, she tried to outrun the chasing creature, dodging in and out of the trees. She breathed a sigh of relief when the hawk missed her but she couldn't afford to relax, not while the thing still pursued her.

Kimi stumbled and hit a tree near by as she missed her mark. Foolish foolish actions.... Kimi scalded herself before picking her large form up and taking chase once more. Her wings moved with a mind of their own, fast fluid movements that helped her gain much of the ground the mare had made.
She hissed 'mine' but in her hawk form the sound came out as nothing more than a painful screetch. The fact that the little one had called for help both pleased and angered Kimi. Pleased because it meant more prey for her to catch and hunt, but angered because it showed weakness... and the wrong kind of 'help' may hear the creatures plea and come running. A stallion would not be good for Kimi right now... she hated them on her best day and right now, starving and hungry as she was she could not risk being overpowered and outnumbered.
The answer was to herd the creature... herd her to a secluded place. When there Kimi could have her wicked way with the little thing.
Darting forward she flew in the mares path, forcing her to turn deeper into the forest... again and again she would do that. Kimi would have her way!
