Running, running, through the night...
Thousands of years into the past, two rivaling clans reign supreme. The leader of one clan, the werewolves, tried his best to avoid conflict. But in the end, he died sick and the next leader declared war with the other clan; the demons.
Take up arms..in darkness, fight!..
As the war rages, a third leader takes charge of the werewolves. He sees that there is no end to this and arranges a conference with the leader of the demons.
Listen closely, don't stray your path..run in terror, flee in fright..
Finally, the two leaders came to a decision. The werewolf leader's daughter was arranged to marry the demon leader's son.
In search for true love, run through the night.~

Sora sits on her balcony and watches the moon rise. Tears visibly stain her cheeks as the news she had just received saddens her greatly. "I'm sorry..father.." She whispers into the night before leaping off the balcony, landing on all fours in her wolf form, and runs into the forest. She listens as the war rages strongly on either side of her.

≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎ Ɉack ≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎ ==== ☠ ==== After nearly destroying the castle, I walked outside. I jumped into the air, the wind catching in my wings and lifting me higher. I let the wind guide me, and thought about this "arranged marriage". My father actually had the nerve to tell me who I was going to marry? The thought made my blood boil. And to make matters worse, I have to marry a wolf. They are our enemies! Why was he making me marry one? I ended up at the werewolves castle. I growled. Something caught my eye. It was a wolf, running away from the castle. Good, maybe I can kill it, show my father that I'm not going to marry one. I dropped in altitude, flying into the forest. The trees were too dense to spread my wings out fully, so I closed them and dropped to the ground. The wolf scent was fresh, easy to follow. I followed the scent deeper into the forest. ==== ☠ ====

As she comes to a clearing, Sora slows and then comes to a full stop to catch her breath. "I'm far enough away now...I can rest here for the remainder of the night and head back out at dawn. Father wont notice my disappearance until midday.." She says, thinking out loud to herself. She trots to a tree that is separate from the rest and lays down under its shade. He can't tell me who I'm going to marry..even if he is my father.. She looks up at the moon and sighs.

≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎ Ɉack ≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎ ==== ☠ ==== I followed the scent to a small clearing. I stayed in the trees for a minute, not wanting to alert the wolf to my appearance. Seeing it lay down under a tree, I thought now would be the perfect time. I walked out into the clearing. I flapped my wings once, "Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but I'm going to have to kill you," I said. ==== ☠ ==== ((When I get a few minutes, I'm going to make my posts look better.))

Sora slowly turns her gaze from the moon. "If you really wanted to kill me.." She gets up, shifting her form. "Then you would not have bothered telling me. You would have taken the moment that my guard was down to strike quickly and fatally." She says calmly, stepping into the light. "So, what is the real reason you are here, demon?" Her eyes flash as she looks him over. He's quite the handsome one...I must admit that..

Sora watches him, unphased. "I'd prefer to have it done quickly. I am tortured enough already.." She sighs and turns away, returning her gaze to the moon. "Why are you bent on killing me anyways? I have done nothing but run away from home." She says, closing her eyes as a cool breeze combs through her hair and lightly caresses her skin.

"I don't see any point to it..If you've changed your mind, then I'll just be on my way." Sora replies and starts walking away. If I am unable to take it any longer, I can beg someone from the demon army to kill me..
