Lukou: -peers around for her mate-
Zuilian: *sneaks up on Lukou*
Lukou: -turns quickly to Zui and gives him a nuzzle- There you are!
Zui: *chuckles softly* I'm always here when you wish it dear one. *nuzzles his mate gently in return*
Lukou: -nuzzles him more- You'll be here forever then?
Zui: If that is your wish, then yes I will be here forever. *lays his head on her neck* Is there something the matter dearest?
Lukou: No~ Not anymore. Because you're here with me now. -nibbles his ear lovingly- And our not-so-little-littlen's're here somewhere.
Zui: The stallion's ear twitched at the nibbling while his tail swished in happiness, "Speaking of our children, I do believe Nek'mani has a suitor. I don't remember saying she could." He tried to look displeased and failed miserably due to the loving attention of his mate.
Lukou goes a bit wide-eyed as she looks up after her mate. "She does?" Her surprise fades a little in place of amusement at Zui's slight displeasure. "It's not such a bad thing is it? He makes her happy 't least?"
Zui: He frowned and nodded, "I know m'love, but I didn't want them to grow up so fast. It seems like only yesterday they were bouncing after us in their baskets. Now one has a mate, the other has someone she won't tell me about, and what about Tsai'jo?" The stallion sighed heavily, "I'm starting to wish we had little ones again." He smiled at his mate wistfully, "I'm starting to think the children as foals were easier to deal with dearest."
"But them growin' up is part of what makes it all so special, isn't it? Knowin' we raised 'em well and they're responsible adults now?" Lukou tips her head after Zui, her rosey eyes bright with the love she holds for him. "Jo-jo's not got anybody that I know of...If that makes you feel better?" Her red tone hides easily the blush that rises in her silent thought. "I do miss our foals bein' foals, all tiny and curious and cute~"

Zuilian snuggled into his mate's mane, close to her ear and whispered, "Mayhaps it's time for us to try and make some more?" He liked the idea of having more foals with his gorgeous mate. "Maybe they'll have tusks like your mother or be red just like you."

Of course Lukou liked that idea, not only because having their children venturing off on their own made her feel a little empty, but the activity in trying to expand their family was quite delightful~ The thought deepened her soft red tint, though, and she tipped her head in thought before smiling lovingly after her mate. "Maybe they'll get your pretty blue markings too," she offered, a melodic amusement to her tone. "Tusks like my Momma, maybe a uni-horn like you too... They'll always be perfect, though - No matter what they look like."

The uni stallion chuckled at his mate, "Of course they'll be perfect love. They're our children." He puffed out his chest proudly and strutted around like a peacock, knowing she would laugh at his silliness.
"I can't wait to have more little ones. I may be old, but I do enjoy chasing them and you." He nudged her playfully and smiled.

"You're not old," she laughed, giving him a loving headbutt before she moved after him to nuzzle to him again. "But you're right. They'll always be perfect, our babies." She beamed as she nibbled to his ear. "I can't wait either, though...Knowin' that what we have is so special that our love can be passed on..." She let her words trail off a little, a whistful sigh escaping her before she turned a playful smirk after her beloved. "You like chasin' me?"

"Of course darling. You're my favorite chasee." He chuckled and danced away from her. "Though to be honest I don't think you've ever chased me and caught me."

Her features fell some in thought, and she shook her head. "Nuh that's not true, I've caught you!" She pranced forward playfully, sending her mane and tail swaying this way and that. "I caught you when we played by the river, and you got distracted and fell in." She nodded matter-of-fact-ly, giving him a teasingly smug grin. "And I caught you now!" She darted forward, touching her nose against his side before galloping off, sure he'd chase after her for retaliation.

Zui sputtered and looked indignant for half a moment. Why that little minx! Laughing, he galloped after her. It was always fun to chase Lukou and he was very sure he'd never want to stop chasing her.

With a glance back after her mate Lukou's eyes brightened, and she slowed her pace just enough for the stallion to think he had a chance to catch her before she darted off again, leaving melodic laughter in her wake. "You're gonna have to run faster than that if you're gonna try to play with new foals, Zui!" she teased, her amusements evident in the way she pranced.
